Saw this on IG yesterday. I think the name of the organization is @mercyships. They ship volunteer medical practitioners around the world to give healthcare to people who cant afford. They perform surgeries and all. God bless them for changing lives.

ReplyDeleteThe average Nigerian doctor is only interested in establishing
ReplyDeleteprivate hospitals and doing cut and join; milking patients.
They will yet work in government hospitals and divert patients
to their own, steal drugs etc. That is why they are not innovative.
And I am "an insider", that's why I know. Let me tell you a
story; be mindful of the private hospitals you patronize in Nigeria.
A public sector doctor was paying cleaners in the hospital to collect
used urinary catheters, syringes, IV canulas, etc. from the public hospital
where he worked and diverting
them to his privates. Police caught him on routine stop and search
and his "colleagues" came to his rescue (if you like "sorted it out")
and of course nothing happened. He probably still does it and more . . .
I'd rather be treated in the "worst" government hospital than be admitted
in a "Shylock" private.
Stella if you like post this in IHN.
Air force hospital Ikeja ... I think dey r good
DeleteThis made me teary. Thanks to all the good selfless doctors out there
ReplyDeleteThis is amazing.. God bless them
ReplyDeleteThank you doctors and donors, God bless and come through for you all in times of need.
ReplyDeleteMy daughters feet is bending, she can't stand straight although she has a bow leg but ever passing day d feet is folding in and she is just 6months old
ReplyDeletePlease start now to give your daughter cod liver oil. It helps a great deal
DeleteCalcium and cod liver oil helped my daughter. Consult the pharmacist nearest to you
DeleteIf you are in Lagos, go to National orthopaedic hospital Igbobi so a proper diagnosis can be made. Diff ailments may present as bow legs and in-turned feet. That was how I fed my daughter cod liver oil and calcium for years before she was diagnosed with Blounts. Only surgery can correct that.
DeleteWow..amazing God..
ReplyDeleteAmen
Anonnymous17:41 your daughter is just 6months old,you are lucky. Doctors in Nigeria can do that. Go to Orthopedic hospital in Igbobi Lagos. I used that place some years back. Pls do not delay cos it becomes complicated as she grows
