Legal practitioner, Maurice Ampaw has advised celebrities who have been mentioned in death prophecies to take legal actions against the prophets since such prophecies traumatize targets and influence their livelihood.
Making a submission on Radio Univers’ mid-morning show, Brunch2Lunch on Tuesday, Maurice Ampaw said that death prophecies put persons in fear and affect their operations, hence, the need to sue.
“When you come out to say Lawyer Ampaw has February to die, do you know the repercussions? You’ve spoilt my day and my month. I can’t satisfy a woman sexually because you’ve killed my libido,” he told host, Abrantepa. “It takes a free mind to be able to get an erection. You’ve denied me my sexual right.”
“As I speak to you right now, Shatta Wale is not of himself. From the day the prophecy was made, he went to pray; he wept at Ebony’s funeral. Do you know what is affecting him in secrecy?” the ‘showbiz’ lawyer queried. “Ask Shatta Michy if Shatta Wale is able to perform in bed. His performance has reduced. He is undergoing mental shock and trauma. Although he has openly challenged the prophets, inwardly, he is afraid because nobody is comfortable with death. He can’t sleep.”
Lawyer Maurice Ampaw asserts that it is out of place to make such pronouncements in public. According to him, people are unable to live a normal life after being told about a possible demise. “How do you enjoy life? You enjoy life when you are not under any threat, right? But the moment there is threat and fear, that right to life and enjoyment is curtailed so you can go to the human right court and sue… It creates some sort of stigmatization on your life. You’r businesses can even go down,” he averred.
Clearing doubts about his stance on prophecies, Mr. Ampaw said, “You are a prophet. Nobody says do not prophesy; when you get the revelation, call the person. The Bible says God reveals to redeem so the person can then confide in you on what to do.”

I hate prophet of doom. You say the problem but dont have solutions at all. Is that one a prophecy. Dont they see in the Bible that when God gives prophecy, He gives solutions to it.
ReplyDeleteShatta is not a serious person at all. Fine everyone is scarred of death, so what can you do to overcome this? You have to be in serious business with God.
That was how someone told a man that if you marry this your wife, you will die. The man was afraid and even the family supported what the pastor said to him. They tried to discouraged him until he was asked to see my Bishop who told him you will not die, go and marry your wife. Today he is married and enjoying his wife. He has even left the pastor that made that prophecy to him.
Shatta to overcome this, draw close to God Almighty. Dont allow negativity take over your life. Dont give heed to that yeye pastor who is praying that you should die because he has spoken because I know that pastor go don dey kabash for your head.

ReplyDeleteIf anyone tries this with me,I may Sue the prophet because that kind of information is enough to disrupt ones thinking faculties.
ReplyDeleteLEP😛
Nawaooo, he should just pray nd fast shikena.
ReplyDeleteThis is a lesson to African men of God. Keep your prophesy to yourself or church. Even most Pastors won't accept death prophesy on them and some prophesies like that of Ebony could not be stopped.
ReplyDeleteShatta Wale is a rude man who denounced the prophets and suffers in silence. Looks like the Ghanaian occultists decide the fate of their famous people because at a point there were predictions that Yvonne Nelson would die due to the fact that a lot of people in the country hated her for no good reason, but she overcame the prediction by refusing to die and she is still alive with a baby too! God is great! Shatta Wale should move out of Ghana or change whatever they dislike in him. Nelson is s winner for real!
