A faction of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Kaduna state has suspended the governor of the state, Gov. Nasir el-Rufai, for SIX months.
El-Rufai’s suspension is coming three days after the faction, known as Kaduna Restoration Group, issued him a query and suspended three of his aides for 18 months.
The faction led by Suleiman Hunkuyi, leader of the faction and senator representing Kaduna north central, had accused el-Rufai of “anti- party activities and anti-human activities”. Hukunyi had said if the governor did not respond to the query within 48 hours, “the state working committee will sit down and deliberate”.
In a statement on Sunday, the faction said el-Refai refused to honour the invitation to defend himself over the allegations levelled against him. It subsequently concluded to suspend him for six months with immediate effect.

Oh well!
ReplyDeleteLol! El Rufai na guy man, don't mind the APC faction...
ReplyDeleteI have always known that surprises are bound to spring forth before 2019, El Rufai has always been a political prostutute right from the days of Obasanjo as president. I won't be amaze hearing he went back to PDP, for politicians are like dogs that goes back to it vomit.
ReplyDeleteStubborn El Rufai.... what changes tho?
ReplyDeleteCROSSCARPETING LOADING. ...NA their way be that....APC should be very careful not to alienate its influential members cos' it can prove very costly indeed for the next election. However, if it has been proven that he is indeed carrying out some anti party activities, then I think an expulsion is best.El Rufai has Presidential ambition and he knows that he cannot realise that dream with either the APC nor the PDP in 2019. I see a big collaboration springing up soon.
ReplyDeleteMai guntu.... Lol
