The Rat Trap...

ReplyDeleteThere was no man in that house; he left to US to make money and of course has been "making women" too. The deprived woman on the other hand "disappears and resurfaces" to and from men's houses. The inevitable price for their folly and mischief are the kids. Why shouldn't they steal; was there any disciplined man or parent to correct them?

ReplyDeleteThis is why I hate watching ppl's kids, if f anything happens you will be blamed. Watch your own kids and take them where you're going. See how she beat her sister and accused her of murder.

ReplyDeleteI tried killing this rat that came into my house with all means I had. I used basket trap (a small open iron basket with a bait in it), I bought manual iron trap (onya in Igbo) which is dangerous too to set up...all to no avail.
Then I freaked out when I caught a glimpse of the rat, it looked pregnant. I didn't want to have a rodent infestation, so I became desperate and bought rat poison.
I waited for my kids to go to bed and set bread laced with the poison but the rat didn't eat it. I woke up very early the next morning and discarded it.
The second day, I used crayfish and set it up after bed time. I don't know how the alarm I set for the remotely didn't wake me. I just ran down to the sitting room when I roused around 6am and saw my 2-year old son already awake (unusual) and playing around the poison.
Luckily he saw it as dirt and didn't touch it.
One has to be careful on how one handles these rats. You have your house all clear after fumigation or something and bam! You see one from god-knows-where.

ReplyDeleteIt happened to me in 2011. I use rat poision when i woke upin the morning i saw my daughter eating the bread i use to mix the rat posion. Thank God it is indocid.

ReplyDeleteLord have mercy,Gosh.....So painfull,to loose 2 kids at once.Any thing poisonous should not be used in the house,alternative measures should be applied please.
