Two other occupants of the vehicle, a CIB police officer and a nurse are said to be in a critical condition at the time of filing this report.

Punch reports that the accident occurred between Bali and Garba Chede axis, along Bali -Jalingo road at about 4:45pm.
A source said the vehicle, which was far behind on the governor’s convoy on their way back from Takum where the governor spent his Christmas and New Year break, veered off the road when one of the tires got burst.
“A CIB personnel who works with the wife of the governor, Barr. Mrs. Anna Ishaku, as Chief Detail died instantly in the accident.
“A lady colleague of his and a nurse attached to the governor’s wife are all unconscious as I speak,” he said.

The governor was driving in the same car with his wife when the security Sport Utility Vehicle attached to his wife was involved in the accident.
Police Public Relations Officer, ASP David Misal, said “A car on the governor’s convoy this evening had an accident, but I am not aware of any death.
“We have channels of communication and as soon as I have the details, I will get back to you”.
This is a bolt from the blues. Sad news indeed.
ReplyDeleteCan't help but remember the previous Governor, late Danbaba Suntan crashed in his chopper. Now this?
RIP to the dead. One would have thought a convoy is safer .
RIP Mrs. May God console your families Amen.
ReplyDeleteMay God help all who are coming back from their journeys Amen. May you all never see or witness any accident.
You all will come safely Amen
Did u read the post at all? A police intelligence officer attached to the Governor's wife died.. Not the Mrs herself. I can't help but wonder what would have have happened if the Governor's wife had been in her own car instead of her husband's.
DeleteRip to the dead.
ReplyDeleteWhy was d car far from other vehicles? And they didn't bother to wait up or slow down for them. Over speeding is the cause of this, I hope we all learn. Over speeding kills.
The car was far from them because it wasn't overspending. Overspending wasn't quoted to be the cause of the accident, rather it was a tyre burst
