The Anglican Bishop of Enugu Diocese, Archbishop Emmanuel Chukwuma, has faulted claims by Labour and Productivity Minister, Dr. Chris Ngige, that the Federal Government has spent about N1bn on the burial of late Vice President Alex Ekwueme.
The archbishop made the observation during a commendation service for the late elder statesman in Enugu on Monday.
Ngige had claimed that the President Muhammadu Buhari administration has spent N1bn since taking over the former vice president’s medical bills while he was sick, and even after his death.
The archbishop described the Federal Government’s claims as “unacceptable.”
He said the Federal Government should explain “what, where and how” the N1bn was spent.
From punch
*Even if they spent 10trillion,why announce it?
Another avenue to siphon money...
ReplyDeleteDid they announce how much their Chief Terrorist father, Buhari spent in London? Chris Ngige is a big disgrace. Evildoers!
ReplyDeleteUntil they tell us how much they spent on Buhari's hospital stay in the UK, they should all keep quite or hug a live bear.
DeleteIn trying to gain cheap political point they are end up in shame
ReplyDeleteThe money is just ridiculous. I can only imagine what a well equipped hospital they could build in his state save the living soul. Are we hosting the whole world as guest at this burial.

ReplyDeleteJust Krix!
And how much did the federal government spend on Buhari?
ReplyDeleteDesperados!! They think if they shout $1 billion, we'll start clapping for them.
I join Archbishop to ask same question ❓
ReplyDeleteThat's what you get when a party comes to power on a foundation of lies.
ReplyDeleteThis administration disgusts me. Also sensationalizing anything that has to do with the igbo. Buhari is a pig.
ReplyDeleteSame way they announced when he went to the hospital as if it's not his entitlement as a former VP.
Shame on the gworo chewing bastard.
If they told us how much they spent on Buhari and his son, then they can announce this.
ReplyDeleteYeye dey smell
