I have over 300mails on my inbox concerning play Santa and at this point I must say that this is harrassment and i have decided not to reply any of those mails because i cannot keep up....
I played Santa for some of you last year and you are back again.......
Does it mean that despite all the efforts i put in privately to help some people business,they didnt succeed?or they didnt plan well?or they just want to grab whatever they can?This is so sad!!!
Almost like i failed in trying to empower people here!!!
I cannot reach everyone,it is not possible please.

MADAM ABOKI SHOE SEND IN KOROPE STORY
I will like to share the experience I had sometimes ago, hope this will lighten someone's day......
I was going to Ede from Abuja, the bus dropped us at Oshogbo, I told the bus driver that I was going to Ede and he said "Korope le ma wo" meaning you will enter Korope......
I thanked the man and walked to the roadside and started stopping cabs,shouting " Korope",.immediately they hear Korope, they will give me a funny look and zoom off....
After spending almost thirty minutes calling Korope, an elderly man noticed the way I had been trying to get a cab, came to where I was and asked where I was going, and I told him, I was going to Ede and someone told me to enter Korope........
The man laughed and told me that Korope isnt the name of a place, that it's those mini bus parked across that is called Korope, that I should just cross the road and enter one.
Chai I did't know if I should be angry with myself or the man that told me to enter Korope....
This story also reminds me of my first visit to Lagos...
I was told to drop at Berger and enter bus going to Agege,so on dropping at Berger I didn't know where to board Agege bus,, everywhere looked crowded, and this well dressed guy approached me, and offered to help me to where I would get a bus, infact he helped to carry one of my bag ,and was calling bus for me, all this while I was thanking him, and even prayed for him. finally, we got a bus, the guy dropped my bag in, as I was about to enter, he blocked me and asked for his money..
I was confused and I asked ,which money, he said, ha this girl you are wicked o, see all the suffering I suffered for you, and you don't want to appreciate me? The bus was almost moving and my load was inside, gave him 100,he insisted o, that his money is 500,Chei all the money with me Sef no pass 500,and I was even speaking phonetic, that he should have told me that I will pay, I told him I can only pay 200,he agreed, gave him 500,he walked as if he was looking for change and that was the end of my 500,I cried that day, if not for a good Samaritan

My beloved Santa reached out to me this morning to send my account no,I was so happy but immediately I wanted to send her my account details my phone started misbehaving. Chai,I started shouting so my village people have finally caught up with me. I quickly called my Santa back and explained the situation of things to her and she was so patient and understanding. ReplyDeleteOkay, those of us still in school and have never be accosted by a lecturer for ***, and not just that, by stubborn ones at that. In midst of bad result and every negative thing a university would do to you, you have 1000 reasons to be thankful.
A fellowship sister confided in me on what she has been passing through in the hands of one lecturer (he is a superior). From 100lv and now she is in 400lv.
I advised her to get evidence and probably, set him up so she could use those proof to fight him. Today, she sent me some voice from their previous conversation and my mouth has been hanging open since.
I know these things happen but having the chance to have a second hand xperience is what I wasn't prepared for.

That's not even the worst part of it, worst part of it being that 'he belongs and doesn't do it twice with any student'.
Then I tried to get advice from Alumni concerning the set up, and she said, that is the worst mistake we may make in our life cos as far as she can remember, all set up against him even by lecturers failed woefully. The person ends up not graduating.
She told us to go spiritual.
At that point, I told my friend, "sister, draw the battle line"
