I dont know why i love rain,I cant explain the feeling i get when it rains...Am i alone on this?I love to look at water,lots of it.water relaxes me and brings out the best in me.....Try looking out the window when it rains and you might understand...lol

DeleteHave the thought of death ever flashed by in your mind? Are there times when you think of how it feels like to not breathe in and out again and, finding yourself in a world where earthly beings referred to as ' the other realm'?
ReplyDeleteThere's this part of me that seeks to know more, to experience this other realm, funny enough, this unflinching desire has been the only thing that keeps me going, plus the buzzing urge to find answers.
I remember the first time I questioned the existence of God and death (I was about 13years old then). I had stayed in my room a whole day with my eyes closed and imagined I was in this other realm. At first, everything was dark and I was beholding nothing. Then, I began to feel stupid but after about 30mins of conjuring the beings at that part of the world, slowly/gradually it was like I was being led to a bright light, though almost blinding but began to shine, initially white but later, mixed with other colours. It's beauty knew no bound. Then, all the colors became one and it seemed, I was revolving around that light, the rays being so magnificently smooth that it didn't hurt. A path was paved for me to move further, it was like a force was leading me, but something prodded me and I opened my eyes. I was covered in sweat and shivering like I was dipped in an ocean.
Ever since then, I knew how powerful the word 'Experience' was.
Also, the first time I had a near death accident, I was happy. It was like I just won a Grammy or an Oscar award. When I woke in the emergency ward to find my left leg bandaged, the pain I felt was more from the pleasure gotten from a satisfaction. A filling that I have just had a physical experience of coming close to death.
You see, death is one very thing that is unavoidable and inevitable. It comes through many means and form. To some, in a lenient way and to some, in a harsh way but the summary is that we go to a place devoid of toxic chemicals, or the drive for success, we go to a place called tomorrow or should I say eternal place, and in that place no one gives a damn if you are too fat, too skinny, too poor, or too rich it's just between you and salvation or damnation of your Soul.
Some might feel Rowland is depressed or suicidal but NO! I'm not, I've just experienced much for my age.
I cheat death daily, no big deal... Death has seen me as highly unfaithful mortal being, so death has moved on to my neighbour!!

Yesterday while I was at work, got in quite late cos biz has been slow for a while now. When I got there, I asked how sales has been and they said slow. I felt bad and it dampened my spirit cos I had some bills to pay that yest.
Few minutes later,an old friend came along and asked what the problem was and I started my sub story + rant. He just said from your mouth and heart to God's ears, don't worry, just watch what will happen in a few minutes from now. Hmmm! Before I said Jack, people just started coming from nowhere and placing orders. We exchanged glances and he said the one that stood me up... Some people will come and place 3 or more orders and will pay immediately without stressing you. Just then, a couple walked up and ordered 3 Shawarma and paid immediately! Wow! I was astonished not cos that was the first time God answered me like that but exactly the way the guy said it was how it happened! I was even too busy to see my friend off and he kept smiling while he badded me goodbye. This God is awesome!
Lesson from this.... When you are down and at the lowest ebb of your life,this is the best time to speak up to God. He listens to the 'straight from the heart' kinda prayer/conversation/complain and what have you. Don't give up on God cos he won't give up on you.... He is able!!!
