Those of you whom i diverted advert monies into their accounts but didn't even deem it fit to get back to me after i saw proof that money was paid into your acct,well done,no matter the excuse you give,I hope your conscience tells you its not right?.
Those of you who didn't hear from me or any other Santa.....make una no vexs.for us... personally,it was not easy choosing....I wanted to move away from the normal people i always chose for giveaways and i think that was achieved even though i couldn't reach out to everyone. God bless everyone who reached out to someone::God bless and refill your store room..whatever you have given will be returned to you double measure,pressed down and shaken together!!!
I walked behind two white elderly women a few days back and they were gossiping about their daughters in law...LOL
One said she could not stand her daughter in law at all and her I too know was epic...the other one now said something like ''Ah you are lucky,mine is the devil herself and cannot even hide it but i have to play it cool before i lose my son to her.''.....One will complain and the other will say ''ah you are lucky,mine is....''
I burst out laughing behind them and they stopped talking and side eyed each other and then looked at me and i said to myself ''what do mothers in law really want''?...I have been thinking..Is it Jealousy that makes most mothers in law pokenose and wanna end their kids marriage?

I am spending Xmas at the hospital with my precious dad. Dad is 72 and has never been ill until he had a stroke last month. I thank God that he is improving gradually. He is not fully recovered but i know that the miraculous healing of the almighty is already upon him. Love you daddy dearest.

Good morning everyone was just waiting for this, mother's in d house pls hellllllp. My 2months going on 3 soon ,has been sleep confused, I don't know how to put it, she sleeps, once she wakes at night for breast feeding I know she is not d one there, her face becomes scary, she won't have a direct eye contact with me no matter what I do to her, she acts like electric is shocking her, her cross changes, she fights for breast very scary episodes, but then in d morning she becomes normal, play ,smile try to talk. It stopped at some point but we went for her immunization and it started again full force. Am a single mum doing it alone, the worst is her pulling her hair when it starts,and now even in d morning sometimes she still continues. This child has been tru a lot from poking every second, to heat burns forming water like and spreading all over her. And a terrible catahr that I passed to her. As am typing she is wriggling, pulling her hair, not coherent at all spiting all over. God pls. The Docs I took her to kept insisting is gas. Give her grip water give her grip water, but is developed passed that now. She doesn't even recognise am calling her name . its so so heartbreaking

DeleteOnce she starts, give her a bath and back her to calm her down. Something must be making her uncomfortable. It really could be gas. Also watch what you eat. Take lots of vegetables. It will help clear her digestive system since she sucks what you eat. All the best.
DeletePoster please Google "colic" and the symptoms. Gripe water is not an instant cure. You have to give her constantly for 3 months or more. It should be given with every meal. Also stay away from foods that could cause gas like eggs, milk and beans since you're breastfeeding. Be patient and gradually it will stop.
DeleteAlso please give paracetamol 10 minutes before she takes any immunization and also give an hour after.
Your daughter has colic which she will outgrow at 3months or thereabout.

I could remember back in the days when once it's 20th - 24th, my mum would have to stay back in the market so late with her petty trading so as to make sure she makes enough to come back with something we can use for the festivities, one stuff a day (she may buy few dericas of rice one day and something else the next day), 24th was always the worst because she will end up coming back midnight sef *wipes tears*
But for the last few years, it's been quite easy. Even before 15th, we've all handed our cash to her for 1 bag or half bag of rice (this year's is a bag). No more stress to have a very good Xmas. It can only be God. It's amazing how even if we ain't rich yet, we are definitely no longer poor.
God has been faithful. No one but I knows how happy I feel to see that my parents are no longer suffering. For the suffering they went through bringing us up and putting us in good schools, despite being poor, I would do anything for those people.
It amazes me when whites act like their parents aren't their responsibility. It really amazes me cos me I can't wait to have the kind of job that would make me tell my parents to stop working and just enjoy their old age. *wipes tears again*

Dis time last year, my brother was very sick and admitted in d hospital. We even thought we will loose him, cos it was severe. My mum & some siblings spent Christmas in d hospital, without even remembering it.
He stayed a month plus. And d hospital bills were outrageously expensive.
This year, we are all alive and well.
What more can I be grateful for.
Remember, Jesus is d reason for d season.
Don't leave Him out of it.

So how does one keep up with food plan during festive periods when you're not around your immediate family?
That's how i woke up this morning to catch this bus. I was still negotiating with my friend's younger brother to drop me when her mother came out of the poultry to ask me if i wont stay and eat. See quarrel! Mothers are just the same everywhere. This woman rushed inside kitchen before i knew it bread, eggs and tea was set. Now, I'm on a 'no rice, no bread' food plan; for at least 6 months. But who born me to tell her that this morning? 😂😂 I gulped a handful of bread and the rest. She still packed chicken drumstick in takeaway pack for me to travel with. How can i tell her I'm doing chicken breast only?
I told them oh! This bullshit diet shit should have started in january. This aint working. When hunger fired me yesterday and i saw rice and semo in the village, how wont i eat?
When we got back last night, my friends mum entered the kitchen and made fresh fish peppersoup with plantain. And plenty red wine. She even put on music and started calling us downstairs to come and eat. Would i now tell her i dont eat late? By the time it was turning to quarrel i saw myself downing fish by 10pm.
Make i find place jog today. I must fit into that dress 😂

Now Christmas is tomorrow and i still haven't played santa to someone properly. I only gave 100naira to a lady i bought something from in the market. Just 100. I honestly want to be a giver. Hope you’re keeping well....
I am a reader of your blog for a couple of years but don’t comment on any of your articles. Couple of months back, I saw an advert by the name “candy_accessoriez” for wigs. I followed her on Instagram and first week in August sent her a message in which we discussed prices, styles and colours (two wigs at 85k).
I asked her if she can have both wigs ready in two weeks, she said it takes four weeks but will meet up with deadline and I sent her deposit. After two weeks she sent me a picture of one of the wigs saying it’s ready. I called her and told her the wig wasn’t my specifications and her reply was she used her initiative to do it differently from the second wig.
Come mid September, she then sent me a picture of the second wig and I immediately made my complaints but she said the wig isn’t as it seems in pictures. Our initial agreement was she was going to post the wig freely since I bought a production of 85k but when the time came, she said she has a connection in DHL who can post at 16k and I should let her know how much I want to pay.
I then asked her to check with EMS or post office as there was no urgency for the wigs anymore. We were back and forth on the issue but then decided to wait till I will be travelling to Nigeria in November.
I paid her balance of 47,500k (postage to Lagos inclusive) on 2nd November and received the wigs a week after.
On receiving the wigs, one was very small so much that didn’t fit my head, looks bald And scanty. The second wig smells and extremely untidy with the strands and roots sticking out. I sent her pictures and told her am not happy about it but her response was “I’m sorry ma. The cap is the regular size we use for everyone. That’s why it has extra strap” and this was November 15.
During that period, you advertised for her again and read all comments about her wigs being expensive. I left a comment too but wasn’t enabled.
I didn’t pursue further because obviously she lives in Aba and she knows I don’t live in the country until I saw her post on Instagram comparing “her supposed quality wigs” to a cheap wig, whereby this supposed cheap wig is exactly like the one she gave to me. It was then I left a comment that she should stop deceiving people by leaving fake reviews and pictures. As expected she blocked me on Instagram and after two days, sent me a message on whatsapp that she’s not like that.
She went on to say one of the wigs was done by her friend in Abuja to meet up my two weeks deadline and told many lies. Although she asked I send back the wigs for a replacement but told her I don’t trust her and only wants refund, that was when she blocked me on whatsapp too.
Apologies for the long story, but it’s painful that she ripped me off my hard earned money, most especially when I saw quality wigs at 10k in Lagos. Please be careful and verify who you promote on your blog as I only trusted her seeing the advert on your blog.
She might think she has gotten away with her deeds but she will definitely reap what she sows.
