President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday pardoned 500 inmates of the Kurmawa Central Prisons in Kano metropolis as part of Federal Government’s efforts to decongest prisons.
The prisoners include males and females.
The president advised the affected inmates to be of good behaviour and shun anything that could bring them back to prison. He charged them to engage in lawful ventures to enable them to become useful members of the society. The president also gave the inmates an undisclosed amount of money to transport themselves to their respective homes.
In his remarks, Gov. Ganduje also advised the inmates to conduct themselves well and contribute meaningfully to societal development.

Hmmm......good for them. I pray they be of good character after this pardon.
ReplyDeleteHis Boko Haram foot soldiers. May God punish Buhari.
DeleteWhere did he get the cash to give those criminals?
Buhari is sponsoring terrorists openly and nobody is saying anything. Shame. Shame. Shame.
How many prisoners did he free when he went to the East?
DeleteMay Amadioha strike him and his fellow terrorists.
Boko Haram?
ReplyDeleteElection 2019?
Don't mind him
DeleteI Hope Book Haram members aren't inclusive??

Commendable gesture but I've a feeling this act and others like it are all geared towards 2019. Atiku's defection has put the APC and her officers on 🔥 seat.
ReplyDeletePlease hw can someone download novels online, general E book is no longer working for me
ReplyDeleteEx and new boko haram! Issokay
ReplyDeleteI really don't support this presidential pardon thingy. It should be scrapped from all constitutions of the world. Why pardon a few and leave the rest to rot?
ReplyDeleteIf he like let him free one million prisoners we biafrans will never vote for him...dan banza.....#Atiku2019
ReplyDeleteNa wa oh thank 2019 I won't be in kano
ReplyDeleteHmmmm Mmmmm Hmmmm
ReplyDeletePls he should extend it to Anambra and oguachi in delta state too the inmates there are much and they are all people's husband
ReplyDeleteWhat is the President doing freeing 500 people at once? You released boko haram and sponsored them. Why can't you disclose the amount? Why haven't you extended this your mercy to other states in the east, west, south? Kami of all places? You want to tell me those 500, they were jailed for robbery and scam, rape? They haven't committed murder b4 or jailed for having links to boko haram? Let God Judge you. May this Christmas be sweet. And let God touch you so you can willingly drop out of the elections because you know in your heart, you aren't capable of ruling this country. Peace Nigeria
ReplyDeleteHe has realesd people that will vote for him in 2019, which kind realease be that one.
ReplyDeleteNo plan to empower them just to show that he came to Kano n release them so that the Northern number will increase during census next year, hence the chance of winning the next election.
ReplyDeleteMisplaced priority
Mr. President sir, you keep making wrong moves every time!
ReplyDeleteHmmm there is God
