The Reason i asked about the Dormant accord is because someone told me they just opened an account and when i tried to pay in online,it told me the account was Dormant...If this account is actually dormant,this would mean the whole story to get the money is a lie,that is what I am trying to find out and i saw a comment insinuating that I didnt wanna give the money..Na you sabi oh Madam Dormant account.
Please Bankers what does a dormant account indicate when you try to pay in online?

Went for a wedding in Saturday and I'm relieved by the number of people especially cos lately, I've been going for sizeable weddings lately. Not too many people. E the opportunity to explain to my customers.....the data i sell is directly bought from MTN in bulk and sold to others via transfer from my own sim to theirs.... You guys can call customer care to confirm this claim and also ask if SME Data has a faster or different consumption rate than MTN normal data..... Am so sorry of your data consumes faster, but the truth is that the consumption rate is determined by how you consume it honestly or perhaps you have one or two apps auto updating or running in background when not in use..... I have done so many research and practicals with friends and family to determine if truly this SME Data is faster to consume than the normal data... And in the end it is the user that determines how fast it is consumed......
But my customers satisfaction is always my number one priority... So for those who have no idea about how to switch off apps from running in the background.... Follow these steps
Go to settings... Click on data usage.... All apps installed on ur phone with the amount of data consumed individually by each app will be displayed.... Click on them one by one and you will see a switch to off apps from running in background when not in use and when you do that you will see the slight difference in data consumption..... Am so sorry for all of these guys... Am just trying to earn an honest living and need this hustle so badly, mostly now more than ever... Don't want to ever go back to begging bcos it feels good earning and footing my own bills.... So God bless you all my customers and bvs here

ReplyDeleteHere is what I think happened. she probably does not have an account and needed the money badly, because opening a new account these days is an herculean task. She collected someone else's account and gave to you. Unknown to her that it is dormant. Or
The account is for her but she lied to you that she didn't have an account because she wasn't sure it is still working. She went to open a new one and encounter difficulties but made enquiries and they told her money can still enter the old dormant one and she can activate later on. So she lied that she just opened one. Not knowing that it would show dormant on your device. I feel she should have come out clean to you about her bank account ish.
Opening an account these days is very difficult if you don't have a valid id. The other time I wanted to open one for my aunt, we presented her national ID, they rejected it saying it's no longer valid as it's the old one, they asked her to go get the new one. She doesn't have a voters card,drivers license or international passport. So we opted to get her a national id card as we thought it was the fastest. We went to NIMC office for the new national Id card. After queuing for a whole day, we were told she would need a birth certificate or declaration of age since she doesn't have a bank account. That day had gone by already. We later got the declaration of age. When we finally registered for the ID card few days later, We were asked to come back for the slip after one week because their printer was bad and it would take time for the repairer to come fix it. Meanwhile this slip can be used to open an account. We were able to open the account after a month plus as I had to take a day off from work each time we go there and it couldn't be more than once
My darling, opening an account is not an Herculean task in 2017 where you can open one in the comfort of your home. If you can't open a tier 3 account because you don't have a valid account which is required then a tier one or two account can be opened with a school ID or any other one until you can provide a valid ID to upgrade to a tier 3 account.
DeleteA tier one account has a threshold limit of 200k and a maximum single deposit of 20k at a time.
While tier 2 can take more than that.
Perhaps, you should change bank if the one you want to open an account with is making it difficult for you.
A dormant account is simply one that hasn't been operational in more than 6 months. Once money is paid into it it becomes active again and most times an account becomes dormant because the owner has a lot of accounts in different banks and forget to make it transactional.
Pay money into a dormant account and voila it becomes functional again or submit a request asking for it to be reactivated at the branch where it was opened.
I opened account with just passport and an intl passport that expired last year, that libya returnee should have a valid account and an intl passprt.

ReplyDeleteWho are those people trying to call out Isaac Baba. dude is the coolest person iv ever done business with. do these pple even understand how social media takes your data off in about 2 days when you'r constantly on it. I complained to him last week, he apologized like it was his fault and then went through the stress of putting me through how to turn off some notifications for apps, so i can save data. that has not helped to be honest but i know why. Instagram wont let my data be.......lol. so you guys should leave Isaac alone o. But Isaac baba, you dey chop sha. LMAOOOOO.

@Greatlady, I was surprised to find the anonymouses attacking you. I mean,why can't people just shut up if they don't have something good to say about somebody else,like Lucky Dube advised in one of his tracks? I am steady on this blog (though I don't always comment) and I find many of your comments highly informing,educating,entertaining and the lot. Please,don't allow the disparaging comments of cowards (hiding under ''anonymous'') to discourage your quest for improvement. In fact,I know that the many good people of this blog will extend their hands of friendship to you...just believe.

That dormant account brouhaha, I feel its a scam. The person had opened the accoubt for long and abandoned it. The account may not even be for her. It may not be a lady that you have been dealing with, it may be a man using a lady's name. Collected the lady's account and told you he has opened an account and sent it to you. They may be a group of scammers. If you want to meet up with the scammer, they send a lady to meet you and act drama. This Libya scam is very rampant now.
