Unknown gunmen last night attacked the residence of the Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mr. Ibrahim Magu, leaving a police man attached to the house killed.
According to The Nation, the gunmen stormed Magu’s farmhouse in Karshi in the Federal Capital Territory at about 10pm Tuesday and exchanged fire with the policemen on duty.
It was also gathered some suspects had been issuing threats to the family house in Borno State.
The threats led to the deployment of policemen to the uncompleted bungalow in Karshi.
This latest attack came barely 48 hours after Magu said the anti-corruption will be a do-or-die affair.
Recall that Magu, had declared that the fight against corruption in Nigeria is a “do or die affair.”
Wow! Hope he wasn't hurt? May God save our lives from our enemies
