The reigning Face Of CandyCity Nigeria, Emmanuella Duke who hails from Cross River State and represented Awka Ibom at the 4th edition of Face of CandyCity World beauty pageant wins 2017 Naesim award as Humanitarian beauty queen of the year.
Queen Emmanuella took to her Instagram page to post “We got something worth celebrating from the just concluded Naesim awards 2017
Thanks for the recognition, this is about my best gift for this week so far, for those that nominated, supported and the organizers of the event, I am grateful. To my honorable boss_CEO of @faceofcandycity thank you for representing me at the event. God bless you all”
The name NAESIM was culled from the first two letters of the phrase “Thank You” in the three major Nigerian languages; ‘NAgode’-Hausa, ‘ESe’-Yoruba, ‘IMela’-Igbo. The underlying principle emanates from a management technique; “commend effort and reward performance”. As a mark of honour NAESIM says ‘Thank You’ to the Nigerian Queens who have carried out pet projects and initiatives aimed at improving their immediate society, by giving them a prestigious award as a reward for their performance.
Congrats to her.
