EFCC Arrests Innoson Motors CEO, Innocent Chukwuma

The Chief Executive Officer, CEO, of Innoson Group, Innocent Chukwuma, has been arrested by the operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.....

The development was made public in a series of tweets on Tuesday by the indigenous automobile company, where it disclosed that its CEO was arrested without prior invitation.

Innoson accused GTB of being behind the arrest, an allegation the company denied.

The company wrote via @innosonmotors, “GTB vs Innoson ‘illegal Arrest’ hundreds of factory workers from Innoson factory Emene Enugu protests the illegal bundling of Innoson to Lagos by EFCC organised by GTB.

“Like a commando style, GTB uses EFFC to storm Innoson Enugu Residential Home to bundle him to Lagos like a common criminal without any prior invitation.

In November, the company said the police had withdrawn the charges against Chukwuma.
The dispute between the company and GTB began in 2012.

They shouldn't play, and rightfully so. The ones who played, where are they? Water will become fuel, saying yes, etc, kaput. Banking is brutal business, no gloves, no play. You borrow, pay. You pledge collateral, perfect and sell. Na paddy paddy kill dead/dying banks, coupled with mismanagement.

  4. efcc has become apc's gestapo. It is likely that the man is either vying for a political post or sponsoring someone in the opposition.
Soon, they will program his companies to fold up and deprive innocent hardworking Nigerians of desperately needed jobs.

  5. But what exactly did he do? Saw his interview when he was lamenting about how the government was just frustrating his enterprise and how much he was been owed and sued for. Poor man

    1. He said Gtb thief him money from his account with dem , he asked them to pay they were forming one thing one thing, then he sued them and won and gtb was asked to pay back with interest and big compensation. So that is the GTB angle. I'm waiting for efcc's angle.

  6. Efcc is now gtb's debt collecting agency. Apc wants innoson's business for Tinubu. When innoson was dining with osinbajo as a Nigerian industry he didn't know they were measuring him to swallow his business like snakes measuring their prey.
