Very funny. Making christmas hair has always been the same, nothing new.
ReplyDeleteFuel scarcity to make hair mbanu, dont think so.
anyway i am on low cut. my hair cut by itself come enter low cut. hahahahah
Lol .Wetin concern you concern Christmas hair.
DeleteIt think because of the season but then again, they are not really smiling to the bank because wigs are in in vogue
ReplyDeleteI tried braiding yesterday and the guy was like "I don't like braiding even thou I do it well. I like fixing because it fast money and does not take long, anyways because you are my fine customer 'yimu' sit lemme do it for 5k"
ReplyDeleteI screamed!
Uncu 5k for what na? My head is not big o. See, I wont shake. I don't want to stay under the AC... Come let's go outside! Walahi I like sun"
When he squeezed his face and started ranting about how cheap he charges.
I asked him to remove money for hot water... You know after braiding they press with hot water. And also if possible removing money for packing.
Would! I did the hair oo. I cannot goan comman die and kill my self. To think I spent close to 10k! Sweet Jesus, forgive me.😂😁
Is it one million braids ni. Because normal sized braids here will cost u not more than 2k and it will be very nice.
DeleteHaahahahaa
Delete10k??? 5k??? For braids??? Is it with 3-4 attachments???
Delete*it's
Delete*Remove
*Wo
@Cookie 3 packs 1k each.
@Ekajoy 2k?! Where? Not one million braid. Normal braid. Well I think the fact that I'm on Natural hair made him inflate the price.braiding natural hair with attachment is quite tricky. He locked the base (those pry school koroba style done with rubber but he did mine with the attachment) to make it last longer coupled with the stress of re mosturing each part before braiding. My hair stubborn!
Well, he did a nice job and that's what matters.
Becky 😁😂😁😁😂
My stylist charges whether there's scarcity or not. Dupe Terminus, I dey hail ooh. I know you're a BV.
ReplyDeleteThis Xmas the carnival committee will pay for my Xmas hair do...kikikiki. As the Queen that I am
The caption got me laughing
ReplyDeleteThe model is pretty, has my preferred shade of black, sexy eyes, sweet full lips, nice pointy nose, even her ears are cute.
ReplyDeleteYou even look reach ear?
DeleteWas at the salon yesterday in Lekki and a girl just straightened her hair extension and they billed her 4k. Just to straighten her weavon.
ReplyDelete😂😂🤣🤣 i dey crase...i get stretched for house
DeleteSurprisingly I'm going to braid my hair
ReplyDeleteYeah I know I'm about to set myself up
I only wear wigs, weaves and never braid, but I just want something different and spicy
I saw one pink braid on Nicki Minaj and I'm gonna settle for it
Nicki's own is toe length, but I will go with the knee length maybe shorter
I don't know how much my hairstylist is going to charge o.
Was making hair ever cheap?😎😎😎
ReplyDeleteIt was yesterday while strolling home that i realized people still make Christmas hair. I had completely forgotten really. I cant even remember the last time i braided sef; Na only me waka come?
ReplyDeleteSome Nigerian traders like using every excuse to increase their charges though some are reasonable due to the use of generators.
ReplyDeleteThank God for wigs, I relax my hair myself so I can't be bothered jare.
It has to be because of the festive period..
ReplyDeleteCost of everything increase during Christmas period nah...
ReplyDeleteWe call it "season"hahahaha...
Where I make my hair don't increase their tariff whether "season" or not...
As for me,I'm not making any hair this Christmas..
I have got tons of different styles of wigs!...
I will be rocking each every day!...
The only thing that would take me to the salon is to braid a conrow, fix my fake eye lash and nails!...
Queen, I fix my false lashes myself o
DeleteLearn how to fix it yourself, it's the best.
Even the cornrow sef I sabi do myself well. I twist my natural hair myself, as tiny as I want it to be sef. I go just carry mirror, put tv on and off I go. Lol. Importance of learning basic stuff while on school holidays back then. Na eyelashes I wan learn now 😃
DeleteYou don't say chi exotic?..Mine is the semi permanent eyelash extensions oh!...
DeleteThe one they apply one by one to the lash to create a natural look!...
Omo,It takes up to 2-3 hours to get it done...
Yours must be the detachable lashes!...
Mehn, this traffic is something else!...I might pack this car one place and enter okada!...
Lemme just do it right away abeg...
The traffic is heart breaking. Spent 4 hours just to pass Ajah bridge
Delete@queeen buhahhha. Soooo me! 😂😂😂 infact on a good day, i would cornrow the hair myself, but since i would be in public let the weaving be neater 😁 I got a new wig two weeks ago and started rocking it yesterday.
DeleteI'm also doing semi permanent lashes and gel polish (cos i dont fix). And that's cos i have chief bridesmaid duties starting this weekend. Otherwise, i can cook a good storm in my bathroom. I style my wigs myself too. Straighter, curler, all the hair gbo-gbo and even mannequin dolls.
5k is normal braiding price in these parts sha. Since i fell in love with wigs over 2 years ago, I've become very hair savy.
I think the season. Thank God for wig, ddnt even notice
ReplyDeleteWho has time to be fixing hair? Wig all the wayyyyyyy
ReplyDeleteI cant relate cos my mom made my hair and i also wear wigs....🚶♀️🚶♀️🚶♀️
ReplyDeleteGhen Ghen.
ReplyDeleteYour comment will be visible after approval
But Stella it has always been like that every festive season...
ReplyDeleteLet them not blame this one on fuel scarcity
This post is for those that are making hair. Person never chop belle full na hair e wan go make? Mchhewwwsss.
ReplyDeleteI didn't notice, made my hair the normal price.
ReplyDeleteObviously it will increase.
ReplyDeleteBut me I'm carrying all back weaving, to wear my customised braided wig for the season.
I cannot come and go and kill myself for Xmas and new year hair o.
Everywhere wet(I cannot be negative)💃💃💃💃💃💃😘😍😘😍😘
Rashida still does didi for me 300 naira
ReplyDeleteyou should patronize her .
she sabi do am well well oo ...
#200 for my area jare, after all my hijab go cover everything
Delete😂😂🤣🤣 my mum does it for free
DeleteI'm new to lagos and don't know where to make my hair. It's so frustrating. Ordinary fixing in one of the salons I went to make enquiries from, the price starts from 4k .I live around berger.
ReplyDeleteIncreasing their cost is even justified because of the fuel scarcity
ReplyDeleteI cannot go to a salon and heat will kee me
They put on the Gen and charge all together.
Nigerians take advantage of this season to increase things, abroad It's the otyer way round , sales and cheaper things, transportation to the east from lagos is very high now
ReplyDeleteOne saloon near the hub charges 4k for box braids, take it or leave it, fixing of hair 1500 to 2k, crochet 2k.
ReplyDeleteThis post has just reminded me that I need to make my hair. Wigs on mind right now
ReplyDeletewhere's doppelganger? TGW?
ReplyDeleteMy friend actually makes neat hair at affordable price. Ranging from fixing, didi, braids, all kinds of wig making with neat invisible parting and also styles hair. Sometimes I wonder how rich that girl would have been if she was in the abroad. She's so talented I swear. May be I should even send Stella a mail on her behalf, with her permission though. Abuja base...
ReplyDeleteMaking hair has never been cheap especially braiding. I rarely fix weavons or wigs, all I do is braid, braid and natural hair. My hair stylist didn't increase her price for braiding but increased the price of her attachment, weavons, hair accessories generally.
ReplyDeleteAll ur edges should be in hellfire by now
DeleteI'm braiding tie tie next week.I cannot come and go and kee myself.
ReplyDeleteNa person wey chop belleful dey make 5k hair.
Please who knows a good braiding place on the island that won't cost too much? All those Ghana high places have shut down
ReplyDeleteWhats your definition of affordable? Get along agungi road. Also go down to Ajah, That road leading to cooperative villa. You would find. They have many hands and would finish the hair on time. Its not mainland cheap either but it won't be phase 1 prices. Oniru market too has some good hands but price depends on their mood. The day they dont have many customers they bill you more.
DeleteIt is well
ReplyDeleteNa wa ooo.
ReplyDeleteWetin concern them with fuel scarcity .
Nigerians and opportunity.
My natural hair jare
ReplyDeletecost of making hair was never cheap, you just have to go for what you can afford.
ReplyDeletePlease who can recommend a good stylist for me in Jos(fixing mostly)
