Oh Dear!!!
STAND ALONE NARRATIVE
JEHOVA'S WITNESS BROUHAHA
Hi Stella,
I don't know where this my story fits into but then I just have to share.
I'm currently undergoing a lot of emotional abuse and rejection from my family members simply because I have decided to disassociate myself from their religion. I was born and raised as a Jehovah's witnesses. Throughout my growing up I was shielded from knowing any other doctrine asides from the Jehovah's witnesses.

I was born and raised as a Jehovah's witnesses. Throughout my growing up I was shielded from knowing any other doctrine asides from the Jehovah's witnesses.
I was only allowed to make friends with only Jehovah's witnesses as non Jehovah's witnesses weren't fit to be called friends. I blindly got baptised into the faith and this is the cause of my wahala right now.
A year ago I decided to do a research on the Jehovah's witnesses faith to be sure this guys had the truth. I began researching on their doctrines using materials outside what's published by them. Note that this is highly discouraged because they know that once you start researching about them you will discover the lies and hypocrisy in their religion and leave them so they try to keep members away from doing this.

Note that this is highly discouraged because they know that once you start researching about them you will discover the lies and hypocrisy in their religion and leave them so they try to keep members away from doing this.
My research opened my eyes to their religious brainwashing and mind control and I was set free. I stopped going for their meetings and fieldservice(preaching) and withdrew completely.
My family members got to learn that I was inactive(a term used to describe members who no longer attend their meetings and go for preaching). My family tried to talk me back but of course the scale had fallen from my eyes so there was no brainwashing tactics they were going to use on me that will work. They told me that if I don't come back they will stop talking to me.Gradually they stopped talking to me.
They won't pick my calls either.
My siblings don't talk to me anymore. They won't even allow me near their kids. I am treated as an outcast, a leprosy patient. This is so painful. Jehovah's witnesses are so hardhearted and wicked. They are only nice to people they think they can convert. Outside that you are on your own.
My regrets is that I blindly got baptised into this cult. This cult has cost me my family members. The sad thing is that they don't realise how much this church has killed their sense of being human. My mum clearly told me she has washed her hands off me. That except I come back she would have nothing to do with me. The church leaders deceive them that this is what Jehovah's wants them to do meanwhile the church leaders are only trying to protect others from coming to the realisation that they are false.
If you are JW reading this, I know you will say this is coming from an apostate but it is not. Ask yourself this questions Why am I told not to read any material outside that published by the JW? Does this make any logical sense? Could it be that this guys have something they are trying to hide that's why they are afraid that if you read any other material you just might find out the truth?

Why do they try so hard to present a perfect picture of the organization to others when we all know that everything that happens in other churches also happen within the organization:things like brothers and sisters committing fornication, an elder beating his wife, marriages breaking up, Brothers promising sisters marriage, sleeping with them and leaving them to marry other sisters, Brothers doing convert and marry?
I was personally sexually abused by an elder in my congregation while growing up.
It's been a really hard time for me admitting that I am now completely alone in this world. Sometimes I feel like going back so I can have my family back but then I can't be an hypocrite. My family love is conditional. Infact a JW love is conditional. Once you leave their cult they disown you. I don't want a love that is conditional so I will endure what ever I am passing through and hope to make new friends that will love me unconditionally.
If you are studying with a Jw hoping to join them eventually please do your research very well. Read thoroughly about them from the internet. It's easier to get in but to come out is very difficult. You can't come out without losing yourself or your family members. Forget the fake love they are showing to you right now. They are only trying to lure you in. It's a trap.
I really do hope I am going to be able to get past this. I would appreciate any advise or suggestions from Stella and blog visitors that will help me cope and heal fast.

*JESUS CHRIST MY LORD!!!
You should have shared the lies you discovered with us nau....
I can't relate please
ReplyDelete*Larry was here*
Eyaaah..@poster it is well with you sogbo? Many are the afflictions of the righteous but they Lord will surely see them through. Be strong don't be discouraged God got your back. He will surely rise up friends and partners that will replace your family and you will never feel their absence in your life for once.
DeletePls,don't ever go back to them. Thank God you've seen the light. One of my ex too was a jW and he told me everything involved and I realized JW is not different from grey message churches. They're simply demonic.
If you need people to talk to pls drop your email with Stella let's show you some brotherly agape love.
God bless you sister.
They will come begging, it just might take some time but they surely will.
ReplyDeleteThey will not o, so as you have left you have to make do with new friends, they behave like Amish people and can argue and keep malice for Africa, my hubby had one as a room mate and after a year he ran away, their thinking is funny, and the so called roommate was sleeping with one small girl o, but to attend birthday party is a sin, they are usually hypocrites. My dear I know it's not easy Cus family is everything but our constitution preaches freedom of religion so if they can't have you this way let them live without you
Delete@push up 🤣🤣🤣 @Amish una get mouth oh.
DeleteI have a close friend who is a jw member. He is absolutely a pleasant and fantastic person to be with. He even codedly marks his birthday. The only problem I foresee he will have in the future is with his parent, that is if he decides to marry outside the religion. But I'm sure he personally won't mind. Poster, don't get bitter about this, trust God to come through for you and keep praying for them to have a change of heart. In the mean time, mingle with people from whichever congregation you now worship. That will make the transitioning easier on you and you get to make more friends and possibly confidants.shalom
DeleteAny religion that do not give room for questions is something else.
ReplyDeleteI see it as a cult too. They always want you to accept them and their ways, they will not even listen to try to understand your ways. Sorry poster. But I think you are free now.
DeleteThe best way to discover if any Christian sect is true is to read the teachings of Jesus Christ in the the New Testament. It is not by reading "materials published outside the sect". No human institution is without faults since the flesh is involved. Any sect that regard Jesus as Lord should obey his teachings and they are not difficult to understand.
ReplyDeleteI am not a JW but I am a Christian. Well, you haven't shared anything with us that classifies JW as "a cult".
My advise is that you concentrate on the New Testament and get closer to Christ whom you have called "Lord of your life". Meditate, fast, pray and do not be quick to jump into any Christian denomination since you already know that all those faults and abuses you saw in JW also occur in those.
But note that like we read in 2 Timothy 2:19, the foundation of the Lord's house stands sure with this inscription, the Lord knows those that are his and let anyone that name the name of the Lord depart from iniquity.
Brilliant
DeleteYes, they are normally hard hearted.
ReplyDeleteAMORC, GM, sef are better than them cos if u leave, ur family won't disown you.
The one dat called me 'daughter of nimrod' ha blocked me on all sos handles, I even reached out to apologise o.
Unforgiving, very unforgiving.
Lmao
DeleteBlackBerry I told you to share her life history with us so that we can read and you refused.
Please biko bikonu bikozianu stop being stingy with story. Just tell us half.
Is it too much for me to ask?
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Don't mind her,she drinks kaikai like fish.
DeleteBiko BB kozienu the akuko naa
DeleteLmao @ daughter of Nimrod.
DeleteQuite empathize with you on the abuse and rejection you enumerated. But please, Jehovah Witness is not a "cult" like you said. Else there are other things you are not telling us.
ReplyDeletePlease read and understand your bible and stay focused in Christ. It is well with you.
It is a cult. Same as many other Christian religions practiced in Nigeria. The way Nigerians practice Christianity is almost cultish when come acting to standards in developed countries
Delete@18:31
DeleteSo if I understand you, "Christianity in Nigeria is cult whereas Christianity in developed countries are not?"
*when compared to
DeleteAnon18:50, you might as well say that. In naija the way they practice their religion is way too annoying and ridiculous, but it's different in developed countries.
Delete@Adanne
DeleteHave you been to "the developed countries?"
Or you base all on what you see on TV and online?
Sometimes you need to interact with people one on one to make your assessments.
What is a cult? Why can't JW be a cult?
DeleteThe point is that she hasn't told us of anything clandestine about JW that will qualify it as a cult. There is nothing she wrote up there that does not happen in Pentecostal churches like Redeemed and winners etc.
DeleteAnd you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free...
ReplyDeleteIt's well
ReplyDeletePlease don’t go back.. Pray to God to direct you to a new church and when u get there, u will meet a family that will accept you with Love.
ReplyDeleteI’ve always been indifferent about that church and i have also heard plenty tins. But it’s left for God to judge.
Very difficult set of people
ReplyDeleteSwthrt I have gon through same with you in the hands of catholics. They worship iDols (images). The pop makes ridiculous non bible based laws, he tried to take god's position... Went to another but I have peace now. Do what is right dear. Why don't they read the books of Daniel and revelations where the things the catholic church will do at the end of time is revealed...their priests will never preach with those books. They even hardly understand them. Pray for understanding before readings the bible especially those books and mehn...
ReplyDeleteWho told you that the Catholic church priests do not preach with those books? Please don't say what you don't know. Leave the Catholic church out of this post. FYI, Catholics don't worship images, please.
DeleteDont mind ‘HONESTY’. In your bid to sound knowledgeable, you missed it. Say the truth, thé actual truth not what you think is the truth. Mschewwww 😏😏😒😒
DeleteThe Catholics will want to have your head for this. To each his own. Once you feel in your spirit your place of worship is not ok, or you are getting bad vibes leave.
DeleteYou just came out to talk rubbish, they use those books so don't ever say that and Catholics do not cut you off when you leave Cus my friend changed church for her hubby and her who is a strong charismatic did not cut her off. People would just be typing rubbish
DeleteLet me read comments...
ReplyDeleteMy best advise to you now will be to hold on to the Truth and keep praying for your family.
ReplyDeleteThis is but a temporary challenge and you shall overcome in no time.
God's strength and wisdom to you.
And hey, don't be bitter towards those who do not have the Light like you do. Genuinely love and pray for them despite the persecution. Love conquers all ills.
Jehovah witnesses are terrible people, I have them as family members nd they didn’t allow my cousin to stay with us in school on Ogun state , just because we are not Jehovah witnesses.. she later when to stay with their church member that maltreated her. They don’t like getting close to other family members too .. they are terrible
ReplyDeleteSorry about your nasty experience. There are good and bad experiences.
DeleteIt baffles me when we Christians say that we all worship one God, yet we discriminate other Christian Churches that is not ours.
ReplyDeleteSometimes I ask myself "which church is practicing the right thing that will lead people to heaven". The answer I always get is that "it is only our good deed that will take us to heaven"
I will be the last person to carry the doctrine of any church on my head.
I go to church whenever I like and if you complain that I don't go to church often, I will tell you to show me where it is written in the Bible that I will not make heaven if I don't go to church.
I don't even need anyone's prophesy. I don't see all these pastors and prophets as extra ordinary human. Most of them (if not all) preach what Favours them.
If you say that your church is the best, then ask yourself if it is only your church members that will go to heaven. Also ask yourself if all your church members and the Pastors are righteous.
Poster I wish you Goodluck in your freedom.
Odogwu Ochi Abu uto..lol
DeleteThis your new title too sweet ah swear!!😀😀.
Anyway, I had a JW girlfriend in Asaba and this girl na fire for fire for the oza room. And she dey sip spirits like water but if you jam her during her routine evangelism abi soul winning, you will think she doesn't even have kpekus talkless of kpenshing.
DontQuoteMe™
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
DeleteMy manchi.
Honestly, all these holy nweje dem, if you jam them for za oza room you go Hail. They will teach you bad bad things you don't know.
Ndi solu okwu onu m, esona omume m.
🙌🙌🏼
DeleteThis makes so much sense, thanks.
Delete@Chike Teflon I have asked myself that question many a time. Hmmm we carry churches and pastors on our head too much and forget these churches are not the way to heaven but through Jesus Christ
DeleteIhuru ndi ahu nile vu church na padtor ha n'ishi, ha no na anu ahu... church in naija, as far as adim concern is a trend, is all about nke ka ibe ya nma, which is very WRONG.
DeleteA family friend and prominent member, once departed from a Pentecostal church against the advise of the GO. Within months, she came down with mental challenges or what you may call "madness". When the other family members went to call the GO to pay for her. He did not only refuse to come but announced to the congregation that the ordeal of the former member was due to leaving his ministry. That "anyone that leaves his ministry will be pursued by a particular named demon". Well thank God the lady is okay now after a long battle in fasting and praying by her family. That opened the eyes of all of them to leave that ministry.
ReplyDeleteWhy did I tell the above story? Most churches make it difficult for members to ever leave; they can go to any diabolic or hate extent!
Please do not take to heart what you family members or church have done. Pray for them. And please do not jump into any church, especially Pentecostal thinking that that is where the truth is. No! The truth is Christ and his teaching is accessible. In this day and time you can read the Teachings of Jesus on your phone while walking on the road. You can even listen to it read for you. When you get to know the truth (from the scriptures), the truth shall set you free. If you read the things men write about a particular named church, you will be deceived because there is an unhealthy competition and selfish ambition among them. Jesus will give you true friends and families.
Mark 10:29“Truly I tell you,” Jesus replied, “no one who has left home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for me and the gospel 30will fail to receive a hundred times as much in this present age: homes, brothers, sisters, mothers, children and fields—along with persecutions—and in the age to come eternal life. 31But many who are first will be last, and the last first.”
God's grace girl.
15:29,you made sense
DeleteGet closer to God in your new found freedom, HE will make a way for you. Your family will come back to the LIGHT when they see you moving forward. It is well with you.
ReplyDeleteThe God you serve will make them come back to you.
ReplyDeleteYour story reminded me of Joseph and his brothers.
Joseph was going to be their saviour but they wanted to kill him.
I feel so strongly that this will be your case. You will.be their saviour them they will come to Jesus.
Poster, you're a fat liar. Jw does not tell their members not to read other books outside the organisation.like sdk said why didn't you share the lies you discovered. Jw are humans with imperfections and never claim they're saints.i wonder why you're doing this
ReplyDeletePoster, God had caught you, how dare you say JW are bad people? You think we don't read this blog? why generalize a whole faith because of your bad experiences? I was born a JW, and truth be told, the peace I felt in JW can not be matched anywhere else. They do not say you shouldn't read any other publication from other churches. Mind you JW is not a church but a society. What research did you carry out, please share with us? Did you know the history of Jehovah witnesses? Did you know that they were formerly known as Bible students? Whose sole motive was to learn, research and practice what is solely in the Bible??? Why do you think they don't celebrate Birthdays,Christmas, etc. Because the practice is NOT, I repeat NOT in the Bible! Bdays started from which people in the Bible? And what were the activities that happened in the b day celebration? What did Jesus say we should only celebrate in remembrance of him? Answer this yourself if you are a true witness. The major reason a witness will not attend other churches is that the belief of many fake prophets and the church members are easily swayed by what their man of God tells them even though the Bible says otherwise. Rather than discovering the truth yourself.
DeleteStella please don't be gullible, take your time to attend a JW meeting and see for yourself what they do there, what they do is majorly bible study, question and answer sections, no other church gives room for participation like JW does.
Poster, you have failed in your research, pls do it again. Concerning, fornicators and sinners in their midst. It is a personal decision, the truth is being taught and we are all sinners even me is guilty. But hold up, what happens when it is known that members are fornicating? (Unfortunately, this usually happens when the girl has been jilted and the brother is off to marry another sister). The elders query both offenders to find out if it is true, question their faith if they have been truly baptized before taking a decision. How many churches do that?? Members are humans that default, the flesh is weak.. Did you ever read watchtowers and awakes that told you to beware of fake friends, and how to look into Jehovah God and not Man? How to make truly genuine friends in JW? How not everyone is on the same level of faith and discipline? How they are backsliders? And also how to be guided with jehovah's word in making friends?
I know many JWs, cos I come from a family of one, but that doesn't mean all can be my friend or I trust all. Remember the human nature we have caused when ever gave Adam that apple to eat? I have JW friends that I can trust with my life cos I have put them through series of tests.
Please, you need to apologise for this misinformation.
See how u condemn her. How sure are u the some JW don't act like saints? How can u be certain that she is lying? Do u know her? Have u walked in her shoes? Have u lived her life? Do u know all JW members & their true, individual attitudes? So why are u sounding so sure of yourself?
DeleteU are acting d same way she described of u Jehovah witnesses; Judging, 'all holy', hateful, intolerant. U just proved her point! Well done
And concerning, the non marriage to a "wordly" person. A consensus has been made that the parents are not to be penalized cos, the Bible has said "bring up a child the way that he should go, so that when he gets old he will not depart from it. So the child has chosen costve parents are only guardians. I am not disputing the fact that they are very strict and rigid but they are not bad people!
DeleteHave you ever wondered why it is hard to win a JW in arguments? Because, they are well bible researched, remember that's what they do every meeting, reading the Bible cover to cover, front to back, back to back, year to year, day to day. The word if God is free, so, why do you need to be prophesied to?
Chill, if u give any JW a religious book to read or tract, they will refuse it, hoo Haa, I've seen it, they gave me awake, I tried giving back ODM booklet intentionally, they rejected.
DeleteSo many errors in my write up. I didn't read proof.
Delete*The B-Day practice started from non believers in the Bible.
*Look unto Jehovah
*Jehovah's word
*Human nature we have, caused when Eve gave Adam
*The child has chosen because the parents...
*The word of God is free..
Blackbeery, you right, it doesn't mean they can not personally study ODM in search of the truth, there is a reason they refuse it, that's a conversation I'm not too well grounded on.
DeleteI be sinner.
JW blacklist those who leave them. It is an open secret. Even family members. That is what the poster is experiencing. They forget religion should be a personal journey of discovery. Most times, people don't die in the churches they were born in.
DeleteOya make una come spit fire under my abunna.
This I know JW don't celebrate birthdays cos of what happened to John the Baptist. And they don't believe in the sign of the cross. But I like their party is never a dull moment. O boy alcohol is like water.
Deletedear poster, I would like to believe that you wrote this out of the pains of the rejection you are receiving from your family or maybe you just have slot of bile you are carrying around and ask just gave you an avenue to pour it. I was a jw too, baptized and all and I also left. Not because of any great revelation and sudden hatred for them but because I married an outsider. Now, did my family cut me off? No. They didn't. Because they love me and have come to love my husband too. Now, in my opinion, the jw take the Bible too literally. Don't accept blood, don't marry outside, don't celebrate Xmas and all that, they can show you from the Bible where they get their backing from. They take it black and white, no shades of grey or room for other interpretation. I personally started questioning their ways when I was Ill in school and a so called outsider prayed for me and I started to feel better. I thought to myself that it cannot only be jws that practice true Christianity but even in other churches there are good people there too. As for the atrocities you mentioned up there, how many did you report to the elders for appropriate action? One thing I know, jws don't tolerate nonsense but will disfellowship any fornicator or thief or abusive person if the person refused to change. Let me stop here.
DeleteThis is one thing with Jehovah witness once you are in its difficult coming out,my friend damned all consequences and married outside JW it wasn't easy but she's so happy she left.
ReplyDeleteMy landlord then at school was a JW, if you accept it study with him he will so love you, once u stop the hatred starts.
My dear continue were you are, and also pray for them, they ll eventually come around, they only love their own and I wonder what they are preaching.
Just as Stella said, can you tell us of the lies they told you? I'm interested.
ReplyDeleteNo wonder they are called jehovah's wickedness lol though I know my Jehovah is not wicked. So since you stopped worshipping there which church have you been attending? Please look for a friendly bible believing church like living faith or any church you like and introduce yourself to the pastor, tell him your story they will help you, mentor you and become like family to you. As for your real family dont worry they will call you they cant throw you away its not that easy. Just give it little time all will be well ok. Ciao.
ReplyDeleteWhy will she tell the Pastor her story?
DeleteSo you want the Pastor to colonize her again?
Poster go to church and after church go home.
One of the things I don't like is if I don't go to church one of the ushers will call me to know why or visit me at home to know why. I so much hate that biko.
Son of david, have mercy on me
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to say but the person who wrote this doesn't know anything about Jehovah's Witnesses. . So many lies.
ReplyDeleteObviously you are a JW.
DeleteMy own na just to learn and ask questions. I've picked few points with which to attack my JW friends when next we study. They like the attention I give their indepth knowledge of the Bible and regret my always rebuffing efforts made for my conversion. I no get strength to the waka door to door with Amadi school bag and umbrella, biko.
ReplyDeleteIts a good thing that you understand that the jw have an in depth study of the the Bible.
DeleteHowever, you should remember that that nobody will force you to go n preach. You can only be persuaded. By the time your Herat becomes filled with appreciation over what you are learning from the bible, then it will become 'like a fire shut up in your bones' you can't hold it any longer and then tada, there goes the bag n umbrella for you!!!.
Somehow I don't believe this poster, if you want to come out of a christian group quietly come out but not labelling them cult. You should enumerated what you found out that made you brand them cult so that others will know and be wary. Good luck in your new found freedom.
ReplyDeleteHmmmm. indeed some of them are hrtless. i borrowed an idiot 10k and the moron johova witness has refuse to pay me. when i was single, there this jehova witness guy that gets an erection any time he sight me. to think he is always on evangelism is more than me. Ones you baptise you get initiated into the cult. Yes is a cult
ReplyDeleteI’m not JW but I’m friendly with slot of them and have not noticed anything bad. All I know they marry themselves. But even me that’s catholic have been told to marry a catholic so I don’t see the big deal. Apart from that elders of all denominations sexually abuse members so that one na general something. ( doesn’t make it right tho) Well if JW is not for u then u know better. Good luck
ReplyDeleteThe poster is correct with the point that your family will desert you once you leave the society or you marry non member.
ReplyDeleteI heard it direct From their member .
Poster, you need your family. Will advice that you go back but with your brain intact.
I wanna ask any JW reading these qs. 1. Why is it that when ppl r baptised in ur organisation, dey r baptised into JW and not into christianity or the christian faith. Jesus wasnt baptised into any organisation, u know.
ReplyDelete2. Why has ur bible been subtly rewritten to contain words that are not in other bibles. Words like Jehova to represent God almighty, addition of commas and other punctuations to give a different meaning to passages?
3. Why do u believe that u r not saved yet, wen Jesus died on the cross of calvary to bring salvation to mankind? And u have to do Jehovah's work before u can be saved? Can u back that assumption up with d bible? And how much work do u have to do to be saved, did Jehovah tell u guys? Cos my bible makes me know that salvation is in Jesus and not in works.
4. Why do u believe that there is no life after death? When d bible says that after death is judgement?
5. What is so spectacular in d name Jehovah, wen God introduced himself with various other names in the bible? Why have u ppl chosen only Jehovah as his name?
U can find the answers on www.jw.org or you can do well to contact any of them in your locality.
DeleteDear poster, am a JW by birth anyway but believe me AV searched and am convinced that am in the truth, I have attended other churches, read other publications, watched documentaries on Bible and babe am JW4LIFE.Yes in the organization there are both good and bad but it's left for you to make the right choice, feel free and explore, make my observations, ask questions and you will know the truth, Please what makes JW a cult? I would love to hear from you. Meanwhile I left home since 16si you don't think I stayed cos it's my parents religion.
ReplyDeleteDear poster, what are the things you discovered with JW that were all lies! JW doesn't stop you from reading other books. Pls say the truth and it shall set you free nobody is forced to be a witness you studied the Bible before baptism why didn't you pull out before you got baptized. Pls this your story is one sided your family can't just disown you like that because you are not a witness abeg jare there is more to your story oo
ReplyDeleteCalm down, recover from the orgasm of fornication....... read your comment again.
DeleteDoes it make any sense to you?
Dear Poster,
ReplyDeleteI was inclined to share with you that the rare feat of leaving the JW on your own without a physical preacher's guidance could be a call of God on your life. This is because God chooses people in remarkable ways as it pleases him.
For a guide on the truth of the word to follow after coming out of the JW, please read 1Thess 5:21, which says "prove all things and hold fast that which is good. The standard of proof of any church doctrine is the Bible. Accordingly, any church doctrine that is contrary to the word of God is a lie.
Please bear in mind that though almost all church doctrines imply that God has changed his law, we know for a fact that God cannot change or lie (Malachi 3:6; Numbers 23:19; Psalm 119:142). Therefore, the key to knowing the church with the truth is the church that teaches that we must believe in Christ and keep all God's commandments because I John 2:4 says, " he that saith I know him and keepeth not his commandments is a liar and the truth is not in him".
Therefore many churches are a bunch of liars as they teach that some of God's commandments are no longer applicable, especially the the law of the sabbath. James 2:10 says, "for whosoever shall keep the whole law and yet offend in one point is guilty of all".
Please be guided by the scriptures and you may reach out to me for more Bible expositions at 08052327754 or bifeanyi60@gmail.com
Cheers!
Omgoodness!! This is false teaching. Please prayerfully read the Books of Romans and Hebrews.
DeleteHebrews 7:12 clearly talks about aChange in law and in priesthood. We are now under the law of christ and bt the law of Moses
Remember the transfiguration? Signifying the Law, and the prophets now being embodied in Christ?
Why we haveold amd new testament (covenants)
We are not pratciing Judaism for these reasons
My own question is why they don't take blood when they are sick?
ReplyDelete
ReplyDeleteMy problem with Jehovah witnesses are many:
1. They believe very well in charm ( black power) yet they dont believe in Holy Ghost Power
2. They dont believe in eating Holy Comunion. I have attended their Memorial before and they wont allow ANYONE eat the bread and wine. Their argument is that they are not foing to heaven.
3. They dont believe in going to heaven because the number of people going is already certain- 144,000 people. They therefore believe they cant make it.
4. They believe in self righteousness and not divine ability and saving Grace of God.
5. They are hypocrites. What they do often, they will condemn openly.
6. They dont pray as Christians.
7. They like to twist the bible to suite their evil deeds
These and many more
Theirs one called keziah in ph, my bros is d one oiling her engine, she'll just carry bag n dive in.
ReplyDeleteOld Portharcourt.Shut up!Who dey oil your own loose engine.
DeleteMy neighbour is a JW. One of her girls married a non-jehova and she was disowned. They didn't attend her wedding. Infacr, she was the only one that married the best husband among her siblings. The mama is nice but the dad is strict..their last child and I do exchange movies..I later saw JW video one day in the midst of the movies he gave me...what nonsense!! The boy can so flirt ehn, yet be doing good boy in the presence of his dad
ReplyDeletePersonally,i feel pained about your experiences especially when it has to do with molestations.First not talking to you is your family's choice since you weren't disfellowshiped or were you?If yes what for?
ReplyDeleteThe picture you are painting is of someone Scorned and desperate to taint the Christian organisation and anyone honest will see between the lines.
So what lies have we told and what secrets so we hold?We would like you to Expose them.May stella can give you an opportunity to have series because they would be much and exposing the organisation would do millions of people good Afterall we tell millions lies.
The organisation has not failed you because it teaches the truth of Gods word .Yes ,people might have failed you e.g your parents, your christian elders,Friends and even siblings especially when you see them not practicing what is been taught but remember we are all work in progress like we learnt earlier this year.we all aren't on the same level spiritually so we make mistakes and theres room for change. What are you doing as an individual based on what you hear at the meetings?Do you know even if your parents are doing wrong you can change them through your conducts.
You complained about sisters and brothers fornicating do you no anyone who is?why havent you reported them?so in a sense you are one of those promoting the unholiness of the Christian congregation and shouldnt complain.
At the end of the day it all noils down to the imperfection of individuals not The organisation and its teachings using the bible.
For honest hearted ones go thru jw.org and every info about jehovah's witnesses is on it.
Lol...all them JW don dey crawl out to subtly bite the poster.
ReplyDeleteAbeg make una free the person...nah her experience she describe (if she's a female).
If she's not comfortable or convinced with where she was...There's the liberty to move on and seek that which resonates with her spirit abeg.
Same way some of you said you "searched and researched" yet JW is your last bus stop. Allow someone else make their personal choices.
To the poster...I like your courage so far...so many are boxed up in places they would rather not be...or not deeply convinced to be at..yet for fear of the unknown...they stayed.
Things will fall into place...trust in God...keep an open but searching mind...where ever and however HE wants you to serve HIM..HE will definitely come through for you.
As for your family and friends...keep loving them...let God's Love inside of you shine through to them.
Christianity is not 'religion'...it is a way of life...a life that reflects Christ.
Religion is the "things we do...our efforts" to reach to God.
Christianity on the other hand, is God reaching out for us...through Jesus Christ...not our efforts.
As Christians.. Christ..and God's Kingdom should be the center of our lives,..not denominations.
At the end...whether we go to Heaven or Heaven comes down...its our relationship with God that qualifies us to live therein...not CoD (Certificate of Denomination).
Peace...
Dear Poster, everything u have said about JW is true. They try to brainwash. But the most important thing is ur family. U can't do without them if u want peace of mind. Since u know what is right u have been set free. What matters is ur heart as it is written in the book of John - we worship in spirit and truth. Go back to JW because of ur family but personally worship God the way u want. I am a catholic that does not believe in the holy communion or Mary or the rosary. But I call myself a catholic becos of the charitable works carried out by the church. The truth shall always set u free.
ReplyDeletePoster, You only told your side of the story but you never did mention what you did that made you left. You should know that the decision to be a Jehovah's witness is personal no one forces anyone to study the Bible. One thing I see is that you are not focused on what you are studying in the Bible, because even Jesus said you will knw the truth and the truth will set you free (John 8:32). You have not made the truth your own so in a word you failed in being a witness to the things you read from your Bible (Hebrew 10:26) if one practice a sin(Like fornication, adultery, homosexuality, greed, extortion, thievery, murder, apostasy, causing of divisions in the congregation or any serious sin-1 Corinthians 5:9-13) willfully without being remorseful such one is expelled from the congregation (1 Corinthians 5:11,13: 6:9,10, 1 Timothy 1:19,20, 2John 9,10), so as not to influence others and if such repented he will be invited back in. I too I have sinned and I was disciplined but because I am really convinced of what I learned from the Bible I made my way back just as the prodigal son returned to his father (Luke 15:1-32). I felt you are saying this just to get attention and to justify your reasons for leaving but deep within you and from your heart of heart you know you are not telling the truth. Jehovah's witnesses are the best friends you can ever have but they are also mindful of the way you live your life too. So don't look at what others do, but focus on what you are learning from the Bible. If you see a brother or friend who has sinned tell him or her to receive help. They are humans too they sin they make mistakes so they can learn from not making such mistakes again when counseled. They don't hide information their app on play store JW LIBRARY is free for everyone to download their publications are there also on www.jw.org all you need to know about them is there so they are not hiding anything (Daniel 12:4). poster your family love you don't make a mistake saying all this for a decision you made. No one is forced to be Baptize after all the Ethiopian eunuch whom Philip preached to after explaining the scrolls of Isaiah the prophet concerning what it said about Jesus he was convinced and said what stops him from getting Baptize (Acts 8:36).so please return to your parent don't confuse their love for hate. I guess you don't know how they feel about leaving the truth and deciding to do things without allow the Bible to guide you. Please if anyone has any questions u can go to their web site or tell any of them(Jehovah's witnesses) to answer your questions using your own copy of the Bible. I believe those who have witnesses as friends have benefited from them spiritually.
ReplyDelete*** When our own thoughts are forbidden, when our questions are not allowed and our doubts are punished, when contacts and friendships outside of the organisation are censored, we are being abused for an end that never justifies its means. When our heart aches knowing we have made friendships and secret attachments that will be forever forbidden if we leave, we are in danger. When we consider staying in a group because we cannot bear the loss, disappointment and sorrow our leaving will cause for ourselves and those we have come to love, we are in a cult ***
ReplyDeleteNa waaaooo
ReplyDeleteWhy would her family reject her? Religion is a person race mhen
ReplyDeleteHow can a mother say that ?
ReplyDeleteSocial media is where u seek help for emotional distress from family members?? Sorry for ur experience, BUT...but, but
ReplyDeleteHmmm. This war is coming too much biko.. let th JW's be.. let them believe what ever they like. Every Mallam with him kettle. Abeg
ReplyDeleteALL THIS ONE NA RAMBLING. U NEVER WAN TALK THE TRUTH . DO U EVEN KNOW WHAT A CULT IS ?/
ReplyDeletePoster, like you rightly said, you are an apostate and that's the reason why you are spewing trash from you mouth.Besides, You weren't stabilized in the faith too no wonder you don't understand the basic truth found in God's word the bible. Why not mention your findings from your so-called research let's hear you. When serious sins are reported, the perpetrator is disfellowshiped and know it so why not do the needful according to Bible's injunction instead of peddling rumors about the witnesses. May Jehovah forgive for being a hypocrite and a blasphemer, hope you know what happens to those who sin against the holy spirit? Be careful, be warned.
