ReplyDeletethey knw xperience stigmatization & discrimination in their own country, its really sad oh, u wldnt knw wat that feels like if uve not walked in their sneakers... i'v shared abit of my xperience once on this blog on discrimination, even from a 5-6yr old gal, she bluntly refused to sit nxt to me on the train, her mum didnt undrstand why she ws requesting another seat, me sef no code quick, but she kept lookn at me and pullin away, while the mum held her.. "Honey, wats wrong?? the mum asked.. then she voiced out "His black skin would stain my princess dress"... Omo, i wan jump off that train, see shame! i was the only black person on board! her mum now sat in b/w us... she didnt even say a word or sorry to me, but i ws aiight, as long as she sat nxt to me, fine boy like me, lol.

Never experienced it through out my stay in U.S and UK. The whites I met always wanted to associate with me, they loved my accent. Sorry though.

Why start a relationship when you know you are not proud of how the person looks?? For me I think albinos are gorgeous depending on how they are cared for especially their skin. Some very light-skinned people are albino in disguise, it only manifest in their kids,grandkids and great grand kids.
ReplyDeleteI know a family in Church with an albino and she's a girl. Oh boy!! If you see the girl, to born albino go dey hungry person. Her skin is so smooth and spotless. With very brown abi red hair. she's the eldest of 3 chocolate skin sisters and one very fair boy. Only the hair and her eyes that you would know she's an albino. You would think she's a mixed child.Like she's so beautiful with that ajebotic orobo body. Everyone looks out for her and her beautiful outfits and cute hairstyles on Sundays. She stands out from every child.She's so confident and bold. Every children program she must participate in something. That woman is doing a wonderful job raising one confident albino.
Most albinos have really low self-esteem and makes people take them for granted.I think parents with albino kids should help them with taking care of their skin as kids because their skin is very delicate and needs lot of care and attention(to avoid the dark spots and reddish reaction) .And give them assurance and confidence for good self-esteem. And a good and quality education for a quality life.
True. I used to have an albino neighbour when I was younger. Oh God! She was the first person I know who insisted on sunscreen. Her mother used to take extra care of her skin and it turned out real supple and even that you'd think she's mixed race. Her lips were rosy too and her hair was quite long. I think it depends on how well you take care of and carry yourself at the end of the day.

What causes albinism sef? I heard albinos dont die, they dissappear. But I saw the obituary of an albino on facebook last year. I even plannesd with my friend to attend the burial and see things for myself. I dont even know what later stopped me from attending.
