Good Morning everyone 

 Hope the Weekend was worth it?Saturday that you didn't eat party Jollof rice,is that one a Saturday?lol.

 This is a new week but I need to clear something from last week.
Lady bug.my giving you the title of Blog Troll was not to support your trolling ID's in a negative way.It was done cos I saw some really hilarious trolling comments.......I am not one who is easily moved by what people think,so despite the one or two people who mailed me complaining about the award,I will not take it away but suggest that you try to troll in a positive way and avoid throwing insults around......
Avoid those who complain you troll them and you will be fine....if you do not do these,then we will review Blog award and censor your comments from now on....Kisses.

    My friend and I went to drop her cousin who was resuming SS1 for the first time in school. On getting there, We learned that every student that wanted to go for Sciences had to write an exam (the art student ddnt have to) and if anyone failed the exam, they would be "thrown" to art class... I found that statement offensive esp coming from a Guardiance and Counselling Department. So, does that mean those in Art class are Dullards? Isn't that belittling the Art students? Isn't that probably why most People want to go to science class since they are seen as "heroes"? Isn't there another way of Conselling a child I'm Career Path?...

    Well, I'm an Engineer (definitely science)But my best friend who is a Lawyer (Art) has told me how difficult it is in law school and I hear of mass failures and people repeating over and over. I see how my brother who is an Accountant (commercial) studies for his Prof Exams. I see his textbooks and I get headache. So, I don't think any path is for "Science failures" as none is a Jolly Ride. I think they are all unique and have their challenges. It's just bout your interests and weaknesses. Personally, I might have passed that Science Exam with ease but give me the easiest Literature and I might fail WOEFULLY. I feel it's time people stop looking down on certain professions especially in the Secondary School level which is most common and coincidentally affects our lives the most as it defines our career path. Worthy of note, many have made mistakes by either feeling they are too intelligent for Science or too dull for Arts. Some even have to start a different course all over... And it's good we let our kids know from Now, no one (teacher or friend especially) should determine our career path. It's ok to counsel but forcing a child.... well..... But What do I know?

      Why won't they allow them choose then wait till first term or end of session to find out the subjects the students likes or dislikes then use that to advise the students or let the students do all the core subjects in SS1 and use it to judge.       In my opinion,decide what you want, weigh it's pro's and con's. And be the best at it so you will be at no one's mercy.

      You can be successful in ANY career. The most paid and most comfortable employers ddnt necessarily study the same course.

      I think they should let them do all subjects in SS1 first term to determine which one the students Excel more in...... Though it can't really be the only criteria..... Or they should do entrance exam for both science and art!!!


      For example, I wanted to be a lawyer but my literature teacher made me hate literature plus the books were written in too tiny fonts, I just carried myself to Commercial class.... My Dad didn't buy me any commercial textbook for the whole of SS2, his way of trying to force me back to Art class, Looool

      As in ehn Chike.... I don't get those parents. Like they will be the one to help you pass the exam. As noted in the chronicles post, what if the child you are forcing to be a doctor is disgusted by blood or accident wounds or can stand a knife cut?....
      Everyone thought I would go for medicine as it's a norm but I can't as much as be there when they are giving another person injection. I either excuse myself or close my eyes. Lol...




      Cookie, You speak as though you heard what other parents were also saying. They were like that was what happened in their days. Every student did every subject in ss1 and were filtered according to the result.


      Many students were just crying cost seemed their dreams were just crashed over an IMPROMPTU assessment.

    Good morning great people. Ate jollof rice abi fried rice yesterday at children dedication because they were twins and came after 11 years to the couple. They stay in the same house with mine. Lovely celebration. Family gifted with a beautiful car for the children.

    The husband gave us Red win 6 bottles to my family. Anyway we don drink 1 bottle, when we get home another one. hahahahahaha.

    Today will be great, though i am still not happy but I pray God will make His happiness sure in my life. Life goes on for everyone one us. My boss is very early today and we kept talking about how life goes on. It is well for everyone of us ooo.

    Had a lovely weekend and I know things are working very fine where I and my family are.

    I saw so many people looking for jobs, may God give you all the jobs that you desired. How una dey manage with this recession. I dont want to think of it. God provide for you all Amen.

    There was mild drama last weekend at a former school mate weeding. My guys gisted me what happend as i did not attend.

    I came back from lesson really late on Saturday, when I got home, my Dad was seated in the sitting room, watching TV and smiling, I was curious because he was alone and be wasn't watching any function interesting thing.... Immediately I came in, he asked "How was class, are you hungry "?? I answered in affirmative to the two questions but told him that I had to drop my bag and look for what to eat (Mum wasn't home, sad much), he just said, don't worry, drop your bag and go and take food, I went to the kitchen and Daddy dearest had made garri, heat soup and was sitting proudly, waiting to show us that he can take care of the kitchen too..... I laughed so hard, proud of him cos it's been a looooooong time since I saw him enter the kitchen, except when he wants to take knife or drop his tray or something trivial.... I didn't feel like eating Eba but I had to eat, to show him that I appreciated his effort, when Mum came back, she was so relieved and I heard them talking and laughing anyhow, even though she 'Yabbed' him for not putting water in the flask and for heating the whole soup, instead of scooping some😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂.............

    Moral of the story?? I don't even know, I'm just remembering and typing, but I'm proud of my Parent's marriage!!!!!

      You just made me remember my dad. Mum fell ill while my dad was still alive and was admitted at the hospital, dad wanted to form chef instead of jejely bringing out stew from the freezer and heat it for us to eat with rice, he went shopping and decided to prepare egusi soup for us all by himself😅 That was how he sliced pumpkin and packed raw bitter leaves inside the egusi all in the name of adding vegetables to the soup. Or was it the eba he made that was as strong as Olumo
      Rock😩😩😩,he finished up and we sat down to eat,he was feeling so fly with himself...We were ready to eat after saying the grace, come and see how we took race to the toilet to throwup as if something was pursuing us😢😢.Egusi dey one place dey form at ease, the vegetables were throwing salute in another corner of the plate while the oil was doing attention on its own. The only thing he got right was the meat..in order not to make him feel bad,we ate the meat and locked up. But he had to bribe us for us not to tell mum that he made bitter leaves soup versus egusi soup,he went out and bought food for us with plenty orishirishi, but when mum came back,we couldn't help not to snitch on him😆 come see laugh, Since that day, he never yabbed anybody again even if I cook spoil,he will smile and say nothing unlike before that he used to yab us.😅😅😅😅
