    1. And my father was sentenced to 7 years, for conspiracy and kidnap. For a crime he didn't do. He wasn't even close to where the person lives. No evidence,it's not even know if the person is alive or dead,no one said he saw him. Only a testimony of a family member who said that my dad had a verbal altercation with the missing person 5 years before he went missing. Is that enough? Every family has sibling quarrels once in a while. Justice system in this country is whacked.so on what basis was he sentenced if no one saw him,he wasn't even present in that part of the country, they hadn't seen years before the person went missing, how could he have kidnapped him. Or even conspired. No evidence,no witness. Not proven beyond every reasonable doubt. No corpse ,no nothing. Poverty is a bastard. I know God will vindicate him. Now my siblings and I are literally orphans cos my mum died few years ago. The lawyers we got said the case will be scrapped in appeal ,cos the judgement doesn't make sense, but where would I get 2.7 million to pay lawyers fees. God I no ask you questions again, just be God all by yourself and prove who you are . Dazzol!

  7. Just served or lives ruined. Dead husband, Mother in jail and the children's lives forever have to deal with the fall outs of living without two loving parents.
    Lives definitely ruined 😕😕😕😕

  12. Last attempt at commenting. It keeps vanishing.

7 years is a small price to pay for what she did.
Maryam might just be looking at few years and it is crazy.
More women will think it is okay to kill off their spouses.
It is such a pity cos after the evil act, they begin to regret their actions...
Wonder what happened in that court.😳😳😳😳

    1. Remember it's man slaughter not murder. A good lawyer might have even gotten free or a reduced sentence. The law is really twisted.

  19. At the end of it all she may stay there for just three and half years. Prison get categories sef, if she can afford it, she gets better treatment there. I will not be surprise if Maryam Sanda get a lighter sentence.

Weirdly enough the 2 cases are virtually identical! Earlier attempt to kill, intervention, actual killing later in the night when they were alone. The earlier attempts by this witch looking lawyer should have attracted outright murder. Both men had been seriously injured & needed medical aid, stitches sef, before the final death dealing act. How is that not premeditated murder??

Lawyer will likely spend jail time in UK or Dubai. Changer her appearance, she has powerful friends. They could even pay someone else to serve her time. The Hausa lady on the other hand has a baby, her lawyer will milk that like crazy. Chai. Killer wives! Women who kill! I got away with murder! How to kill your husband and get away with it! And them dey dis blog o, hmmmm
