Staff of the Rivers State sustainable Development Agency staged a protest today over the non payment of 24 months salary owed them by the State government.
The workers who mostly dressed in black were holding placards while some came with their children who couldn't go to school because their parents couldn't pay their fees.
A worker said that the governor maybe persecuting them for being staff of an Agency that was set up by the former administration of Rt. Hon Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi.
*For two years no salary and they kept quiet and continued to go to work?
And I can't help but laugh at the ice-cream man. WHo will buy ice cream in this kind of protest
ReplyDeleteSincerely this hurts. Why are our governments just all about themselves alone? For 24months? How do they expect them to cater for their needs? This's just too sad. I pray something is done about this not just this particular state alone
