Saturday Breakfast And Lunch Post

Today's breakfast inspiration is steamed bean pudding (Moimoi/Moin-moin) and custard.
 



For the moimoi, I used: honey beans, onions, crayfish, tatashe, scotch bonnet chillies, vegetable oil, fish, prawns, fish stock, ginger and garlic powder, seasoning cubes, salt and hard boiled eggs.

The great thing about moimoi is that it's very versatile, so there is no limit to what you can do with yours. Feel free to add other proteins like corned beef, chopped liver, bone marrow and so on. You can also experiment with different herbs and spices till you find what works for you.



Lunch inspiration for today is Eba and Okro soup made with fish and beef.




Okro soup is my go-to soup when I want a quick-fix meal because it's really easy to make and very affordable. My favourite veggies to add are fluted pumpkin and garden egg leaves but you can add any other vegetable you like.

  11. Omo the soup looks inviting cos of the fish, for me. Breakfast is plantain porridge today. I mixed half ripe and unripe plantain with dry fish and shrimps.
    Lunch is going to be afang soup with semo

  21. ThankGod for Keto was gradually turning to mighty Eagle the wrestler but have greatly reduced.I ate sardine fried in palm oil and egg.Afternoon will be goat peppersoup.That will be all today the way keto reduces the apetite is amazing.
