  1. I can bet Daddy Freezer has just seen another opportunity to insult pastors online.

He will not take to correction and he seems to be a crusader for insulting the church and what it stands for.

I hope all those supporting him will meditate on the above scripture and change their ways.

    LEP😛

  2. Tithe tithe tithe. Believe what you want but don't abuse or insult people because of their own beliefs.

  3. Dont mind them Pascal. Only fools dont know the language of tithing. If they do, they will never be fools at all.

Let me continue paying mine as I have seen God's hands in action where i am and my families. Things moving well and grace of God and favour working in my favour.

  4. Tithes are for the levites, 12tribes of isreal, 11goes to war, work & farm but d levites are the servant of God working in His vineyard. God commanded they give them one tenth so they wont lack. This aspect of d bible soothes christianity these days, an oil bloc to make money. These pastors are not the levites!
Without holiness, no man can see God (God has nothing to do with tithes)
The richest in d world dont pay tithes to church, they give for charity & to the poor
The popular verse in malachi, read from the beginning, it was refering to the children of isreal then
Too much poverty/wealthy church pastors in africa becos they lack knowledge
    I support freeze on this....

    1. I don't see why paying 10percent out of 100 irks a lot of you so much. Tithes was for the levites right.... So the 10 commandments you still keep to this day was it for the Caucasians, blacks and mongoloids??? You don't want to pay tithe... Fine. Don't discourage those paying. I'm sure y'all have forgotten what the bible says about leading people to sin. When you meet God I hope the freeze you support will be there to question God too.

    2. Thank you.. I support freeze, most Nigerian churches in the uk are bloody thieves, they have target to meet every month to be given to the headquarter in Nigeria, the pastors are so proud , what’s with the daddy nd mummy calling nd kneeling down for a mere mortal?? I went to an English church and immmediatwly I walked in, the Bishop abi na pastor came to meet me and told me her name is Jennifer not pastor Jennifer lol. Tithe isn’t compulsory? It’s tor the levites simple. The day a Nigerian pastor would sacrifice his life nd go to the heaven they preach about, is the day I would start believing them, pastor says heaven is beautiful with hold nd everything yet he is with body guards, he doesn’t want to die nd go to d heaven he tells u about, to me that is laughable , you preach to people that God is their protector and u have bullet proof cars with body guards, piling up treasures on earth, Jesus and his disciples didn’t pay tax, nobody in the New Testament paid tax. Sometimes when u guys read the bible , read the verses before nd after . This is why d black race is backward, if u will progress u will with or without tithe, pay white people who have us religion don’t go to church and don’t pay tithe n s their lives are better, religion sold in Africa because na suffer suffer continent, of u no work u no go chop. I believe in God nd Christ but not pastors nd tithing, I believe in sowing seeds but most Nigerian pastors are useless nd I am not hiding under anonymous cos they are not worth it, bunch of thieves flying private jet at the expense of poor people, why is it hard to read ur bible but easier to listen to a pastor who wants money in his pocket?

    3. My dear if you read that verse very well, you're even suppose to eat your tithe and not pay it to the church. God says we should eat our tithe not give pastors. It's out of your own will and what remains, that's what you're suppose to give to levites and the less privileged!!!

  5. I will never understand why there is soooooooo much hullabaloo about paying of tithe, like is there any thing you have that you didn't receive whether free or worked for?
Will just advise that anyone who isn't convinced about this subject matter should stop discouraging others who understands. It's a dangerous path to take, when it's about God, anything I don't understand, I study for my self and ask the Holy Spirit for a deeper insight.

  6. The most controversial topic in Nigeria. There are other passages in the Bible that have never been argued over like this. This shows what the thought, mention and Love of money can do to us humans.

I will read my Bible and interpret it in a way that will bring peace and joy to my soul.

I have nothing against what the Bible says and i will only study and listen to word written in it and not necessarily by the people preaching/modifying it to suit them.

  7. The issue is not "paying tithes or not"
The issue is "what do they do with the tithes?"

    PASTORS WILL NOT WANT YOU TO SEE THESE SCRIPTURES, THEY ONLY QUOTE MALACHI; SEE;THIS IS WHERE THE LAW OF TITHES WAS INSTRUCTED;

DEUT. 14:28“At the end of every third year, bring the entire tithe of that year’s harvest and store it in the nearest town. 29Give it to the Levites, who will receive no allotment of land among you, as well as to the foreigners living among you, the orphans, and the widows in your towns, so they can eat and be satisfied. Then the LORD your God will bless you in all your work.
DEUT. 26:12 When you have finished setting aside a tenth of all your produce in the third year, the year of the tithe, you shall give it to the Levite, the foreigner, the fatherless and the widow, so that they may eat in your towns and be satisfied.
    IT WAS PRACTICED IN THE NEW TESTAMENT; THE WIDOWS RECEIVED A DAILY DISTRIBUTION OF FOOD;

Acts 6:1 But as the believers rapidly multiplied, there were rumblings of discontent. The Greek-speaking believers complained about the Hebrew-speaking believers, saying that their widows were being discriminated against in the daily distribution of food.
1 Timothy 5:9A widow who is put on the list for support must be a woman who is at least sixty years old and was faithful to her husband.c 10She must be well respected by everyone because of the good she has done. Has she brought up her children well? Has she been kind to strangers and served other believers humbly?d Has she helped those who are in trouble? Has she always been ready to do good?
DOES YOUR PASTOR/CHURCH HAVE A LIST OF WIDOWS THAT THEY SUPPORT OR IS HE EMBEZZLING THE TITHES?
    James 1:27(NIV)
27 Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.

    1. Nice to know about these other scriptures
But why don't they quote it?
In both Deut. 14 and Acts 6, the widows received
      daily distribution of food.

God really organized this world to function but
Greedy folks have messed it up.

    2. Don’t mind the bloody thieves, like o said let them sarcrigive their lives nd go to that beautiful heaven they preach about.. bulletproof wearing pastors

    3. It is not your business what the tithe is being used for. Yours is to obey the command n expect the blessings. If only we hold our national leaders the way we do to pastors on this subject, Nigeria would have been a better place now. By the way: if you are not comfortable with your pastor n his actions,I'll advice you change church. Its not by force biko

    4. You should Read Malachi 3 vs 7 -9 before you keep shouting Levites. Even after the Levites, God still instructed that we pay our tithe. If you want to keep robbing God because you really want to know what the pastors use it for, then feel free....as for me, what it's being used for isn't by buisness. My buisness is to bring my tithe into the store house that there may be meat and prove God if He won't open the windows of heaven for my sake. I am not a robber.

    5. Beckie , God said pay the tithe to the levite not pastors, this is why they build schools people can’t afford!! Mean!!

Why not let able be the judge??do what the Bible instructed and leave judgement for God.....

    7. tithes and hypocrisy !

Levites were the old covenant workers in the temple who do not have inheritance; the Lord is their inheritance hence they receive tithes.
In the New Covenant, they are the GOSPEL WORKERS WHO DO NOT HAVE A MEANS OF LIVELIHOOD. They have left everything to follow Christ. . . that was what was happening at "the apostle's feet" of which Ananias and Sapphira cheated and were consumed. But then, they are just 1/4, a quarter of the tithe recipients.
      How about;
      the widows,
      the orphans,
      the strangers?
How many churches distribute food daily to widows as was done in the acts of the apostles?

I do like to enter the church in my city to pray during the day; especially on the days that I am off duty. Each time I entered the catholic church (I am not a catholic; I am without denomination), not only do I pray well without "harassment" but sometimes, I will be there for 2 hours and by the time I am about to leave, some of the people I met there are not in any way preparing to leave. I am usually challenged by these people. Several time, I had stopped by the "mega churches" (Redeemed for e.g.) to pray, they looked at me like I've come to steal, most of their parishes are under lock and key. is it only the orthodox churches that are "house of prayer"?
Really I have learnt to do house fellowships to learn the scriptures with other like minded Christians and have not gone or needed any of these churches in the last 5 years. I grow very well in the Lord and we do go online (social media)/prisons for evangelism. If you are a Christian who do not pray and fast and study your bible, very soon, every wind of doctrine will ferry you!
Again, why is every girl (especially fair ones) that go to these "mega churches" put on "deliverance for 21 days"? Did Christ or his disciples do that. One of the teenage girls on my street after being put through such "deliverance' was also "put in the family way". The worst is that she does not know the father of her child because multiple "deliverance ministers" had her. Thank God she got saved during her pregnancy and delivered a healthy baby boy. Or should I talk about the "Rev. Fathers" that browse the girls in their congregations.
For those of you who would "rattle" about tithing; I pay it very well to strangers (prisoners and street kids rehabilitation), widows, orphans, and some missionaries (who of course have no other means of livelihood); if you care to, you can read the scriptures; Deut. 14:28, 26:12, practiced in the NT; Acts 6:1-6, 1 Tim. 5:9, James 1:27. A lot of you will be surprised that I did not start my quotation from Malachi 3. the point is that "God's house has become as spiritual house (1 Pet. 2:5-9). By God's grace, I've taken many kids off the street, enabled widows begin small scale businesses, helped missionaries out of poverty etc. and I am not lacking in the blessings" from the Lord. I feel more fulfilled.

    1. Just shut up u fool, I am sure hungry people are in your family but u choose to enrich a pastor, is God physically collecting ur tithe? Because you have been doing something for 50,000 years doesn’t make it right, the instruction in the bible is that the tithe should be given to levites and they are in Israel not a Nigerian. Are u obeying the bible or pleasing ur pastor?

    2. Lmaooo anonymous easy! Levites are in isreal not in Nigeria,,,, so if u want to pay tithe travel to is real pls. Don't mind Spanish lantern

  9. People will rather do the same thing over and over without thinking! Give your tithes if you want to BUT there is nothing biblical about it (READ MORE!). People all around you needing help but NO, you have to give it to the pastor. Some tithe defenders can't remember when last they gave a beggar 500 naira.

The greed of the Pentecostal churches needs to be curbed - I went to a catholic church for the first time a few weeks ago and I was surprised when they printed how much the church members donated last sunday! I went a second time, end of the month, and I could not believe that nobody said things will be TIGHT for me if I don't pay my TITHE!

  13. ehe mek i talk my own.Daddy Freeze is actually right and he opened my eyes on this one, i refuse to be decieved.dnt just read Malachi 3:8-12,read d whole of chapter 3 then u will understand whom that passage was for, he was referring to the levites.if u want to please God den give to the homeless, people who do not have hope for another meal, people who cannot pay their hospital bills.these same pastors will neva help anybody wen u meet them for help they will tell u to pray and have faith but what is faith without work, James 2:14-26 made it very clear "What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him?If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead." so u c if u have ears listen.

  16. and some folks will foolishly pay their tithe while their mother /father is very sick and hungry in the village, they wld assume that wen they pay their tithe that they are pleasing God first but that's a big scam.if u r making that mistake better read James 2:14-26 very very well.my colleague at the office op[ened my eyes too...i chided her for not paying her tithe and she was like tithe? i give my mum 20k every month because she needs it nobody gives to her so that's my own way of givivng back to my mum instead of to a church that dosnt know i exist" i was moved by those words.how can my mum be complaining of no money and i will gladly carry my sweat and give to a man who wld neva help me. na there i give myself brain ooo.i send my mum money monthly to sustain her, she needs the money, peradventure i meet someone who needs my money too i wld share the money give her and the person shikina and God wld be happy.DALUKWANU

  17. I don't know why tithe is such a big issue. Is offering biblical? Is project Sunday biblical? Is bazaar biblical? Children harvest & bazaar,Adult harvest and bazaar family thanksgiving etc. My sister died last year. At the end of her burial service the Priest asked us to raise offering which will be used in saying masses for her. Is that biblical? My point is that tithe is not the only money that we give in church. Why single that out? Please allow me the liberty of choosing how to spend my money. The corruption that goes on in most homes for the poor is unprecedented. You are not giving to the poor you are giving to those workers there.

  18. BE WISE
Don’t let an angry man/woman blind you with their hurt and twisted taught. (Victim)
Knowing God for yourself gives you a better understanding on the shepherd you will appreciate leading you. (Pastor)

For 2 Timothy 2:15A KJV says you should READ/STUDY (YOU)
Joshua 1:8 declared Gods word as law and said you should meditate/apply it. Use it as your defense mechanism when awon soro soro comes to tell you “rabbish” (YOU)

Don’t fall into this ambush 2 Tim 4:3 which say: For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great. (YOU)

Don’t end up in the corner of Romans 1:28
Furthermore, since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, He gave them up to a depraved mind, to do what should not be done. (YOU)
You see these guys, when they make peace with God they won’t come and tell you ooo! Ahahahah (VICTIM)
