Mother Of Quadruplets Has Died

The 38-year-old woman who gave birth to quadruplets last Wednesday at Malumfashi General hospital has died.

Hajiya Gaje Zubairu from Gora village died yesterday, four days after undergoing a caesarian section at the hospital where she was delivered of the baby.

The Chief Medical Director of the hospital, Dr Abdulhamid Abdullahi told newsmen on phone that the woman died at 11 am. One of her four children had died two days after delivery.

Since the news of the birth of the quadruplets, people had been thronging the hospital to catch a glimpse of them and to make donations.
