One of the patients receiving medical care for monkey pox at the quarantine centre in Bayelsa State has committed suicide.
Meanwhile, Prof. Etebu has confirmed that truly it is MonkeyPox that is in the state following laboratory evidence which now puts to rest the earlier suspicion of the disease.
He, however, assured the general public again that the government was doing everything to contain the outbreak and ensure all patients received appropriate care and treatment.

*The photos of the victims look so horrible that one wonders what their state of mind would be like...They should watch the others...
Too sad. Rip
ReplyDeleteThis is bad. It feels like he was not being monitored. If he was not depressed as they said, they should be vigilant about the drugs they are using, that they don't have psychological side effects, some drugs do.
DeleteI also recommend counseling for the patients, they need it.
DeleteAre you sure they didn't eliminate him like they did some Ebola carriers. You don't know how this government operates, do you?
DeleteOh my goodness.
ReplyDeleteHow though? How did he commit the suicide?
ReplyDeleteOh my God. God, heal others speedily.
ReplyDeleteCare givers should watch others closely.
He shouldn't have given up na, may God heal others speedily
