DeleteSo this is one of mine. One day I was going to the saloon to make my hair. I was in ss3 then or 2,i can't remember. My mum had come to get things around that part of the market, so she dropped me and I decided to walk to the saloon. I use the lady because she use to work for us before she started making hair, so I always made my hair with her until this happened. The next thing, a mad man slapped my ass. Jesus. And alot of people were around that area. The annoying thing was, those people were already saying my shakara was too much. And those who were making stupid comments or jokes were already throwing them. Oh lord. And I was wearing leggings and a top that was on my waist so it wasn't covering my bum.
Like that wasn't enough, the mad man started chasing me. Jesus!!! I ran and ran, passed the saloon, took another turn and went back to the saloon route , the man followed me to the saloon before he was chased away. Oh God, I was so embarrassed that day.
Well after that day, I didn't go there to make my hair again. I started making my hair close to the house. It took along time to go to that area in the market and those around there never forgot. Till I left that town, they always made jokes about it any day they see me there or any where
So I always wonder why nana in nina needs to go always comes through... Like why does she have to come thru all the time with her flying umbrellas and what not. My son will be like "another tone for grandma" 😒😒😒

The pastor moved to d women section which was where I sat,counted d first three rolls,asked us to stand n then told us to move to d alter which we gladly did but what I heard next left me dumbfounded, we were to say how much we will cut d cake with n then go n sit,c me that is looking for money, if that was anyway I could disappear dat min I gladly would have,I had to cut it with 1k which was about d lowest amount I heard any one called.The lady sitting close to me,when it got to her turn,d pastor was like he is seeing 5k around her after much talk from d pastor d lady had no choice than to say 5k only for me to go n sit n saw her murmuring with another lady.Honestly I felt bad cos I had no intention of parting with such amount and d worst part we were given only a small slice of d cake.Anyway God will take me there.

That moment your child has a presentation and you are happy and scared at d same time😥
ReplyDeleteThing is, you know d child is good but can't stop having that "what if" feelings. It was her first time facing such number of people as a solo dancer/singer.
She was doing this without her group and the CROWD was massive. Although, her coach kept reassuring me not to be scared, and i also gave her that positive vibes n encouragement, I wasn't so sure myself considering d fact that it was her first solo dance with such crowd.
She was called on stage and I took my phone to mk a video. it was pretty dark but I had to manage.
Not long into her presentation, people were upstanding cheering her up🙌🙌🙌🙌 huh? Then the shouts👏👏👏👏 I didn't know wen I "removed my phone from my face" to see clearly.
My girl was on fire😀 her moves ,her swings,so on point👌 to say I was dumbfounded is an understatement. I felt so proud, still proud.
I have such a talented child as my daughter. Wow, all Glory to God Almighty.
But, her whole body is on fire, she outdid herself and her body aches badly😥...gave her paracetamol last night tho.
Pls I need a good dance Sch in Benin. We need more strengthening
