They say change is a constant. I concur. Growing up,I use to love Mathematics like KILODE. I could solve mathematics throughout the day and not get tired. It was my get away thing. I loved being on my own. In fact, my family and friends thought it so weird because there where a 1000 and 1 games going on in the neighborhood but I always prefer my books.From my Primary 4-6 ,I always scored my Maths from 90 over 100( I know my teachrs dont give my 100/100 because to them its impossible). My nickname was Mathematician. I solved both taught and untaught topics. I wish my parents or school took it up because I was damn good.
Same was the case in my junior secondary.I was the authority during Maths exam. I was worshiped especially during examinations.So many privileges were accorded me because of Mathematics.So many people dreaded the subject but it was my play ground.My Maths teacher then always sneaks me to her room then to solve questions on topics both the ones she has taught and those not taught,especially from textbooks not recommended in our school.It was magical.
I had the time of my life and I was a celebrity but alas I was an extreme introvert so it never got to my head.
Anyway,I grew up,changed school and had new friends.I guess I wanted to be''normal'',so I dropped my hobby ie solving maths to reading lots of novels and books.We always compete for the fastest reader to complete a book. So my best subject now switched to literature in English.I love to make up stories and I love essay writing in English.It is still my best subject anytime,any day thou I am still a fan to Maths.
All I have being saying is that,you should know that you can do anything if you set your mind to it. Change begins from insid.e
