Will Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) be in court today for his trial?Nobody could give the answer to this question last night.
He is facing treason charges along with some members of his group but has not been seen since September 24th when some security agents entered his Afaraukwu, Umuahia home-
Kanu was granted bail on health grounds with Senator Enyinaya Abaribe as one of his sureties. Kanu’s lawyer Ifeanyi Ejiofor, told AFP: “Only the army can tell us where he is. Either they arrested him or they killed him. If he is alive, they should bring him to the court Today.
Justice ministry spokesman Salihu Othman Isah said whether the trial would go ahead would depend on Kanu’s appearance and the judge. I can’t tell you specifically what will happen,” he added.
Kanu was first arrested in October 2015 and held in custody until April.

ReplyDeleteWicked man, see how he saved his neck and put his sureties in a mess. We know you are alive anyway so let's see how long you will play this game for.
ReplyDeleteYou are very stupid. What's if the military killed or abducted him? You don't think that way? The army who raided his house and killed many unarmed civilians should provide him.
DeleteIf death comes for him now, he will be begging to live
Delete@ 7.46, you are the stupid one. You should change your name to 'odenson 'for believing that Nnamdi or his family members have been killed.

DeleteCan you tell Shekau to appear in court? Terrorists don't appear in court. So if you declared him a terrorist, you shouldn't expect him to appear in court.
ReplyDeletePeople who cause public unrest shouldn't be tolerated irrespective of which tribe they come from , what language they speak and their religious beliefs . Don't make this about his tribe and religion.

ReplyDeleteAccept the truth, our bros don cut out. Yes, I am Igbo but I wasn't fooled by his own style of self actualization and I'm relieved it didn't lead to war.
The coward is afraid of going back to Kuje prison. He witnessed only military exercise and ran away.
