    4. It's TRISH-O... and she is here calling people broke.... lol
People buy from her, it's rediculous but it's how she has valued her brand, she has unique styles and good finishing, just find her a little rude.

    5. The jackets has stones embedded on them, swavrosky stones probably. So they are worth it.

    7. This is the mistake people make.

All shops and it's commodities are not meant for everybody.

Every business owner has its prospective customers it caters to.

In this case, I am sure the shop owner caters to high end prospects/customers.

While some people may view that jacket as expensive, some high net worth individual with such high taste may even find it relatively cheap and very affordable.

Find your level and shop accordingly. All fingers are not equal

    8. Oh really at Ano 11:59 and Lafresh? They are on a fair price then.

Nigeria people should understand that in all products that look similar, there are diff. in qualities&finishings including a brand's name, that's why there are diff. prices.

You guys want to kill her dream and you people will never succeed IJN. Why bring her pricing to social media? To what end? She no beg anybody to buy,if you can't afford it then pass. Stop calling out the designer. Poverty romancing people go and die.

    3. If I were the designer, I would sue both Stella and the person who brought the chats here. But unfortunately this is Nigeria where the law does not work. Stella can never try this with a German designer over there.

  14. We spend much more on foreign products. No be person dey carry 4million bag. Am sure other factors(e.g their overhead cost)is included in the price. So it's either, can u afford it or not, becos am sure they have their target audience. But I can't buy it, when I can sew myself.

    1. My dear to be truthful this is quite expensive. The oyibo that u are comparing her too use expensive materials to make their design. I went to a shop where they sale correct material in France and a yard was 80e note that it was the cheapest there. And the material was worth it! But this here let me say this is hollandaise and it's the most expensive Ankara material we've got in naija which is 60e for 6yards and looking at the jacket it didn't take up to 4yalds to make it. No design on it just cut and nail and u expect me to buy this for 85k? Who knows if the material is even junior hollandaise they sale for 20e? Or ordinary Ankara material? Something you will wash once and turn white hisssss but oyibo shoe for 85k and it will last you for a life time.

    2. Rent,labour,electricity,fuel/dieeletc are other factors charged with a product aside the cost of fabric. am not disputing on the quality. We also produce good products here too. I will not be surprised if that jacket has been bought.

  20. Nothing spectacular, any good tailor (designer) can make this jacket 10k buy high target, then make. Even my tailor with 5k including Ankara can make something better than this. Shout out to my tailor @usuf umar, like you always say you are a tailor not all this fake IG so called designers, repeating styles.

  21. This ankara jacket is stoned and Trish doesn't do her full stoned ankara in Nigeria. The stone doesn't fall off and she uses the best quality stone.

    It's not about the style.

Social media warlords are fighting their fight. The cloth is soldout.

  22. If I can wish to buy a Salvatore or one yeye Balenciaga design for 5times that amount, why not this? And by the way,a foreigner who falls in love with this would buy it triple that amount. As long and the material is durable and sewing is top notch and I like it,why not

    1. Yeah, but you know Ankara is not durable naa.

  23. Abeg na gold thread them take see the jacket? I ain't buying it when my friend will make it for 5k with her fabric for me.

  24. As a tailor that I am,I'll say her prices are OK for the caliber of people she designs for. customer satisfaction is the priority for any entrepreneur. Am nowhere close to her pricing but am OK at the level at which I am (at least for now). So also, there are many tailors out there that can't charge half of what I charge.
its one thing to be good, its another to be able to pull crowds, its another to be able to manage them.

  25. Let us boost our own people forward. Truly if it was an international brand now, everyone will want to buy. It is well. You did a very lovely work darling. Keep it up.

  28. "Do they cost"? I didn't see anywhere it's written 85000/75000 each, so it might be 'they', I mean the two.
Fair price if quality materials and well tailored and as well won't be everywhere, because I hate mass production.
Tailor made is always more expensive than already made.
