Thirty-five university students of Ebonyi State origin studying abroad under its scholarship scheme have received a cheque of N3m each from the government.
The beneficiaries were considered for the award through the state government Family Succour and Upliftment Foundation, a pet project of the state's First Lady Mrs Rachael Umahi.
Mrs Umahi, while making the presentation, said that the gesture was to enable the students to complete their educational pursuits in their various universities abroad.

Good effort by her and good news too from Ebonyi state.
ReplyDeleteOne firstlady one pet project. Does that not raise curiosity? They do so to get themselves, their cronies and their pockets busy and these pet projects fade into oblivion as soon as their husbands vacate offices. Aside the WOTCLEF I can hardly remember any of these pet projects that have stood the test of time.
Naija I hail thee. Una too much.
