THE Wedding Engagement of Senate President Bukola Saraki's daughter Oluwatosin to Olatunde Olusanya took place yesterday October 28 October 2017 in Lagos ....
What many do not now after viewing the lovely photos is that there was in house drama at the Eko hotel which was the reason the engagement lasted only a few hours as it was hurriedly rounded off
According to insiders ''Eko hotel shut down on Saturday Morning around 3am when the flow of Electricity stopped abruptly and it was made worse because all the Dignitaries and Very very important person's who attended the engagement were lodged in the hotel with VERY TIGHT SECURITY.
The situation remained the same until a few hours before the wedding when the hotel got a make shift generator to run the engagement at the Ballroom of the Eko hotel whilst the rest of the hotel remained without light.
The result is the father of the bride Senate President Bukola Saraki was very unhappy and wedding was quickly rushed because some kind of 'sabotage' was suspected...By 4pm the sweating guests had started departing venue disappointed with the turn out of events but some stayed on until 4am partying.
The Couple are now officially engaged and will round off their three part wedding activities with the wedding Fatiah in Abuja on December 8th.

A whole eko hotel! With the calibre of people there at that time, i suspect foul play too.
ReplyDeleteHahahaha.
DeleteGood for them. Is good for those corrupt bastards to feel poor people's struggle. Ugly people
DeleteDo those people have 2 heads? What about the people that has not gotten electricity in their area for years and government is not doing anything about it? And the ugly looking fake Fasholal( Who happens to be Minister of Power) was there smiling? Shame on our govt. Forget EUROPE OR USA, This electricity mess doesn't even happens in Ghana and Ghana is poor in comparison to Nigeria. Shame on the so called WHO IS WHO THAT WAS THERE ON THAT DAY. IS GOOD THEY GOT SERVED HOT
DeleteEko hotel is overrated.
ReplyDeleteOh this development is powder outage? Wonderful.
There was a time their heaters couldnt even produce hot water. Hotel attendants were taking hot water to guests in their rooms with buckets.
A whole Eko hotel.
SMH.
*Power
DeleteHave you slept there before or 'you heard'. They must have about a thousand staff to go from room to room supplying hot water on buckets. Madam hearsay
DeleteI prefer all them Protea and Radisson, Sheraton (four points) and even intercontinental in terms of service. Their food isn't even all that. Only the interiors in signature wing even makes sense right now. I don't know What that shaguri is doing.
DeleteYea Chiki,
DeleteRenaissance, Protea, Sheraton, Southern sun? Better off.
It's good for the people that won't fix Nigerian electricity problems
DeleteHonestly Eli hotel is over rated. The food is even wack for a hotel of that size.
DeleteSouthern sun is good for their buffet but the decor and the finishing is horrendous. Even their restroom by the lobby is a disappointment
DeleteSomething is definitely wrong somewhere
ReplyDeleteWhatever meh
Ntorr to the thieving family
ReplyDeleteWhy dem no go abroad as usual 😝😝😝😝
ReplyDeleteEko hotel well-done, well deserved to dem thieves.
Hmmmmmm what to do,but the couple are officially engaged so make dem move on!
ReplyDeleteNa wah....strange things are happening oh, a whole eko hotel?
ReplyDeletewell... congrats to the couple
Very good! Useless leaders. Why can’t they fix this country? They are all in position to do something.
ReplyDelete@ Lala Well said. And the useless Minister of Power was there too! Very useless and selfish inconsiderate leaders.
DeleteThey should have wiped all of them from the face of the earth. SHAME ON THEM. The sad part is that their kids were gallivanting all over the world with corrupt money. Their offsprings and wives should be locked up too. Very sad
DeleteSay what?
ReplyDeleteCharitybino
Someone wanted to make a point and he did. Fix power or be embarrassed. Target was Saraki. Una weldone in the wedding carnival, atleast it was done in Naija
ReplyDeleteWell deserved.. Using money meant for the masses for frivolities awon ole
ReplyDeleteVery good! They experienced power outage for just a few hours and are already looking at different theories around it???
ReplyDeleteNdi Uchu! Devilish leaders with no sense of humanity in them at all.. bloody thieves! This is what over 150m Nigerians suffer daily in a country of such abundance.
A few evil, heartless and ugly spirited folks who call themselves "politicians" have run this beautiful country dry, but Jehovah himself will begin to fight you all.
I am in Dubai now, and i just marvel at how a once desert area turned out so beautiful, touristy and functional... commitment, honesty, transparency, love and passion of their leaders towards their nation and their people.
So angry now biko... Power outage indeed!
💯
Delete#facts *drops mic*
DeleteAt Uchyyy
DeleteWELL SAID
Bad belle people. If you wish them bad, so shall it be for you. Everyone is a thief in Nigeria including you mr and Mrs righteous,. If they put you there, nah you go their pass. Wait till it’s your turn and let’s see.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to the couple and both parents. You look good.
You a fool. Thats plain.
Delete@ Anon 12.23. You are not only an idiot but also a big bastard for your stupid comment
DeleteThe real powers that be were just showing him they're still fully in charge despite his shenanigans at the Senate
ReplyDeleteThe same powers that be that sat like disciples waiting for their messiah patiently? The saboteurs failed, Saraki is a boss. Everybody who is anybody in Nigeria was there.
Delete#Prove yourself to yourself not others*
ReplyDeleteYeah, I only just commented 'long story' on the first Engagement post ..seriously though, they said their Transformer (a supposed dedicated transformer used by Eko hotel alone) wet bad and spoiled all their generators. They had to find where to hire generator to power the hall doe the ceremony
ReplyDeleteSigh
See sweating though
Bride just managed to keep that smile on her face in the pictures
Serves them right. Maybe because of the embarrassment, they will actually start looking for solutions for power.
ReplyDeleteSo you guys honestly believe Nigeria’s problems can be solved by this government. It would take years for things to get right. No one has the magic to turn things around in a couple of years. That’s the truth. So we can hate all we want. Blame all our past leaders too. They put us here in the first place.
ReplyDeletewhy is the husband looking so miserable,as if them force am to get married to the lady
ReplyDeleteEKO hotel...very funny hotel. My office once had an after party in one of those halls. And right at the middle of the hall, water started dripping from the decking. They had to put bucket to collect the water. Very embarrassing. So i believe that person up there who said they didn't have hot water. Forget all that razzmatazz, their services can be very drab.
ReplyDeleteA hotel as big as Eko Hotel should have a very strong back up system. Not paying attention to details is the cause of this embarrassment. You cannot be having that kind of function, and depend on PHCN. They will fail you. And that is where the back - up comes handy. Eko hotels management should be ashamed.
ReplyDeleteWhich few hours did the engagement last? I was there, the engagement started 12:30 and the party went on till past midnight, then after party till Sunday morning. The power cut was before the engagement started. Only the Saraki's can pull off restoring power to Eko Hotel after electricity and generators failed. That is power. Gorgeous classy traditional wedding.
