Oh My,Oh Dear......

WARTS

Good afternoon Stella,
Please I need urgent medical HELP!!!
I am so devastated and need help from any professional doctor within Lagos, I am at my wits end and almost giving up.

I am a young lady who has had just 1 body count and only experienced sex a few times after which I decided to abstain because of the pain. The issue is, months after I made the decision to go celibate, I developed genital warts but never knew that was what it was, until I made research.

I met a pharmacist who gave me "Podophyllin paint(to apply on the spot), Valtrex(intake) and Vitamin C 100mg. After 3 days, it vanished.

But it returned after few weeks and this time more than the first. I went to the Pharmacist and got the same medication and applied, it went after 2 days.

I was beginning to feel relaxed and promised to stay away from sex till marriage since it was supposedly assumed to have been from sex. But, it has resurfaced again just after 2 weeks of the last treatment and this time worse than the 2 earlier breakout.

Stella, I am so devastated right now and broken. I met with my ex partner who is a practicing pharmacist and insisted he had some tests run on him and they all came out negative of any sexual infection, which means it might not have been sexual. Then, where did it come from? How do I treat it properly now and avoid further breakout?

As I type this, I am so so down...
I don't have any professional doctor around to counsel me and that will administer proper treatment. I can't just rely solely on the med I took earlier out of fear of it coming back. And it seems like every new breakout spreads to other places.

It is really affecting my work, self esteem and general fitness. I AM TIRED OF THIS, I NEED AN END TO IT!

PLEASE HELP ME!!!!! PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

*Where was the test conducted?your ex may have lied about it...Herpes has no cure but can be treated when it appears, perhaps you are using the wrong medication, please visit a proper doc and stop self medicating.

  2. Poster sorry about this.
you might have gotten that shit either through your partner, your panties or the latrine.
Did you physically see the test result your partner claimed he did? I don't know but i have my strong reservation on this, cos warts are usually contacted through an infected partner i.e through sex.
You need a very strong antibiotics to fight this.
    First thing first,
Add detol in a hot water and sit on it, you need the hot steam to penetrate in esp on the area. Whilst at that, change your pantries for now. Always rinse with hot water and detol then sun dry. Avoid g-strings and go on cotten panties.
Don't die in silent talk to a doctor again, go to a good hospital and run a swap test.

    Brb..

    1. Please do not say what you do not know
      Genital warts is sexually transmitted
Same HPV; Human Papilloma virus that
causes cervical cancer is the one agent that can cause it
It pays to wait till marriage before having sex and the poster
      now acknowledges this.
Poster, you go to a gynaecologist in a government or mission hospital and get
the proper care; management and not treatment.

  4. You cannot get genital warts from any other means other than sex. Do your research. Genital warts is very stubborn and needs patience. After the first five or more outbreaks, the symptoms will give you a break. Unfortunately, it doesn't leave the blood forever. You can always infect others and expect sudden outbreaks. Try the podophiline cream. Your partner definitely has it and sleeping with multiple partners suring the same period triples the chances infection. You may not be the only person he was sleeping with at that point.

  5. I'm not a doctor so this is just an advice. Pls go and run full extensive culture test and even get the sores tested too. Also change all your underwears to new ones so as to avoid reinfect. Savlon is a better disinfectant than dettol and others, avoid tight panties and don't shave as often cos you will end up reopening the pores. I hope this helps but SEEK proper medical help.

  8. Genital warts is a sexually transmitted infection. You most likely got it from your Ex who probably doesn't know he has the disease. What type of test did he do to confirm he doesn't have it?
Warts is caused by Human papilloma virus ( not herpes virus) . Testing for this virus isn't routine for males especially if he doesn't have any lesions (sometimes the lesions in males are so small that it can't be seen). But in females, you can have PAP smear done for cervical cancer screening which would detect the virus (depending on the strain) or a biopsy of the warts for histology would detect the virus
That's why I said earlier, it's unlikely your Ex had the correct investigation done especially if he doesn't have any visible lesion presently. But that doesn't mean he doesn't have the virus.
Warts like other viral sexually transmitted infections like herpes are not curable but recurrent active infections exist.
Using podophyllin paint was a good choice but since the rate of recurrence has increased with a wider coverage in terms of surface area, you need to see a gynaecologist for other options of management for removal of the warts.

  9. Use Apple Cider! Yes it worked for me. Look for blade and cut off the warts down to the root. Then apply apple cider on it. I swear it won't come back again.
I got this info from Tblack's (porn start) snap 3 months ago and I used it.
Since then the warts no show face again o. Try it.

    2. Yes apple cider vinegar will work but don't cut the warts. Just use cotton wool and the acv to clean the warts twice a day. It will burn the warts off but you sure have to bear the pains from it.

  15. I have personally gone through this. You have the HPV virus which could generate to cervical cancer. It's a process to manage and clear it. But it must be done. Pls go and see the OBYGYN doctor. Pls dont delay, from your writeup the warts grow fast.Don't cut the warts!!! Jesus will heal you totally. .. Amen

  16. Herpes is different from warts. Herpes as no permanent cure, you only manage it. Warts, visit the hospital and stop self medicating, the virus could get resistant.

  17. Apple cider vinegar works, use cotton wool to apply it directly on the warts, hold it in for a while on each wart, it hurts like mad but it would burn them off. Please don't cut the warts
