Blue Birds Sighted Flying Around In Lagos

Funny things have been happening these days.

Blue birds have been sighted flying around Lagos, Nigeria

Curious people have been posting the picture of the bird on social media and asking where they are coming from.

Social media reports have shown that people have seen quite a few already over the last week. Has anyone seen one?

  9. This is how rumours get started. First and foremost, it's that time of the year when the season changes. This means there's a lot of migration happening. Secondly, this isn't a rare bird or anything like that, so what's the hullabaloo about? Lastly, please come to Cross River state and you'll see so many species of bird if that's what you want. If you have lots of flowers around you, you'll see so many species of birds. There's this yellow bird I took a picture of last year, bird was hopping around backwards and was so colorful I couldn't help myself. There's another that has those sharp colors associated with parrots but really tiny. Thanks to the rightful owners of my phone, I lost the pictures. I like nature shots and can snap anything and everything that catches my attention 😁. This isn't strange abeg

  11. Yes...birds come in different beautiful colours.

I live around Lekki scheme 2, before Abraham Adesanya....when ever I go jogging around here.(it's a developing serene area) I see beautiful blue birds...exactly the type in this picture and other colours you wouldn't believe birds come in. You'd be amazed at the intriguing colours of birds around.

The problem is that people are used to 'urban-jungle' living..jam-packed areas..that they rearly take time to see and appreciate the beauty around them which is pathetic.

Construction everywhere. Houses...estates...no space for nature.. So most of these bird are migrating further in. Then when we happen to stumble on one.. We term it "strange".

  12. In Ajah around the Lekki Phase 2 area where you still have a lot of vegetation, you'll see all sorts of birds
