Kanu's father is the ruler of Isiama Afaraukwu community in Umuahia. The decision of the youths is against the backdrop of the civil unrest witnessed in their community following the clash between IPOB members and the Nigerian Army.
In a letter addressed to the state governor, the youths said they are demanding the monarch's dethronement because he failed to call his son to order but rather encouraged him in his "madness". The letter reads
“With tears and sorrow, the Umuahia Youth Movement respectfully write to request the dethronement of Nnamdi Kanu’s father as a traditional ruler of our clan. It beats our imagination that a man who calls himself a royal father and an elder could not call his son to order but rather encourage him in his madness has have plunged Umuahia city to a great crisis today.
Sir, recall that Umuahia have been the most peaceful capital city in Nigeria to live and do business but just because of one man, we are today facing the wrath of the federal government of Nigeria. Our shops, markets, schools, churches and all banks have been shut down. For the past three days we have been indoors for fear of been attacked by the military just because of one man whose father is our traditional ruler.
Based on the above, we hereby request that he be dethroned within 24 hours or we will take the laws into our hands and dethrone him and even strip him unclad and raze his house. We appeal to every well meaning Nigerian as well to prevail on governor Ikpeazu to as a matter of urgency dethrone Nnamdi Kanu’s father.”
The youths called for the continued stay of the military's Operation Python Dance in their community. They alleged that if the soldiers are withdrawn, IPOB members would attack them and rob residents of the community of their belongings.
No be small thing. How can they dethrone him, that's abomination nau. God let peace reign in that state.
ReplyDeleteMiss Ess a sitting governor or president in Nigeria of today can remove a king, our monarch sit is no longer in people or Oracle's hand but government hand. I am in support of this, he was very supportive of Kanu's madness and it is not hidden that makes him part of Biafra agitators, his home is their den.
DeleteOkay them don borrow themself sense! Odi nma!!

Believe this and you can believe anything!
ReplyDeleteDon't mind stella. Continue
DeleteIt can't be true and if ever this was true, then what are the Igbo's fighting for at the end of the day? Shaking my head.
DeleteWow. Jesus bu eze . My brothers are now waking up. Thank you Lord
ReplyDeleteWho else is tired of nnamdi kanu and his news
ReplyDeletecrazy world 😆😆
ReplyDeleteSponsored umuahia youth at work. I don't believe this one
ReplyDeleteIPOB
ReplyDeleteGoes to show Mr. Kanu does not speak for d whole igbo race, his methods are crude, his worshippers can bash anyone who don't agree with his methods....duuh!
ReplyDeleteIgbate ooooooo
This makes 100% sense... Though the father should not be held accountable for his son's action but still, the responsibility to call the senseless son to order rest more on him for two facts - 1.) He is the senseless son's father and 2.) He is the traditional ruler of the community thus has the highest authority in that land.
ReplyDeleteRather, what did the old man do? went to record calling FG out saying he would hold them responsible if anything happens to the senseless son, that's him directly backing the senseless son. That's very unlike a traditional ruler!
I support this letter to the utmost fullest.
👊
DeleteIt is more than 24 hours now and nothing has been done. Egbeonu
ReplyDeleteFake youths bought over by d government.. I am from Umuahia and none of our people came out for dis nonsense..
ReplyDeleteWe love and respect Nnamdi Kanu and we won't come out and say dis rubbish about his family.
Stella stop spreading fake news about Nnamdi Kanu.
Biko, why are you anonymous? Use a name so we can identify you. Google has been saving lives from conception, why not use it to confirm if this is true or false. Secondly, you claim to live in Umuahia, why not go to the governor's office to ask if such a letter was received or not? Stella is known for posting retractions when she is proven wrong. Get your evidence and prove her wrong, don't just talk to hear yourself. I also hope you know there are many BVs who live in Abia state too
DeleteThere is absolutely nothing to even retract. The news is everywhere and didn't originate from Stella.
DeleteI just wonder how some of you process things, very daft somebody at 12.45pm.
Can we have d names of d youths and their village/family? These ones are paid youths bought by Buhari and Co.
ReplyDeleteWe are not fooled biko.
Buhari doesn't need to pay anyone okay. He will just level that village like Obj did to Odi
DeleteAnon 12:46
DeleteWhat do you want to do with their names and their family/village?

Barracudianusaurusunamon - Hi, Guys. It's me again. (:
ReplyDeleteI can say I don't blame the youth body, tbh this is the first time I am reading such news from Umuahia, it has indeed been very peaceful a place to live and do business, but now, Python Dance Military and the IPOB turned there into a battle field.
He can't control his house, so he should step-down and stay out, he cheered on his son to proper commit treason and vices, so what gives, he should be removed from power, as usual, the State Government is slow; I predict that soonest this week, we'll read of a sitdown between the youth, government and the monarchy, or a rural coup, LOL.
Oh, goodluck to all parties involved in this shamble.
Q.E.D.
Cheers.
Yours Blogospherially.
"Dethrone Nnamdi Kanu's father or they would take the laws into their hands by dethroning him and stripping him naked" LOL.
ReplyDeleteWould love to see that happen
Which youths or you mean the paid one. The abia state gov should ist of all pay his workers their salary, can you imagine that this greedy man have not paid some of their workers since last year November. I wonderwhy ipob haven't burnt down his office. Try and pay your staff so that i will start picking the calls of my lovely ones, you have turned all of them to unrepentant chronic beggars
ReplyDeleteThats something...maybe in the right direction.
ReplyDeleteOga o....
ReplyDeleteWhether the youths wrote or not is not my business. The content is more important to me. Nnamdi's father experienced the war and still hasn't cautioned his son. Your son threatens Nigeria on a daily basis, you say nothing but you're quick to say you'll blame them if anything happens to your son. Following the pattern of Nollywood, one chief somewhere would just go to one shrine somewhere and pay shikini money and it's adios to your son, yet you're behaving as if the FG needs your permission to arrest or rearrest anybody. I hope he's dethroned sef
ReplyDeleteIcan't wait to see him dethroned. Worthless old man. You witnessed civil war but refused to tell your son about the horror and consequences of war.
DeleteGood news, his deeds is about to bite him in the ass
ReplyDeleteSponsored Umuahia youth at work. I don't believe this one.. which yeye Umuahia youth, is it the same Umuahia that I'm currently in??
ReplyDeleteThis is the govt at work trust Me... most of Abia youths not just Umuahia youths are in support of Kanu
If this information is true let them go and dethrone him na... then you will see the real Umuahia youth that are ready to goive their lives for Kanu in action.
You are free to give your worthless lives to Kanu, ko kan aye. Live wey no get meaningful, infact , RIP.
DeleteLife wey no get meaning I mean!!
Deletehmm... may God help Us
ReplyDeletetalking about govt, check out this video I saw online, somewhere in the North where some guys were raping a girl and everyone was watching click here to watch the video lets make this viral till the government intervene.
Lmaooooo anonymuos worshippers
ReplyDeleteFake news/report. No Igbo any where in the world, even those not in support of Biafra would write such letter with so much hate in their tone. It's obviously APC inspired. Nice try APC, but next time make it mild to be believable. Naija...Sad.
ReplyDeleteAm tired 😴 of Nnamdi Kanu's wahala and news
ReplyDeleteStupid children who call themselves youths. Instead of them to unite and fight their enemies, they are here fighting one another.
