So Something happened over the weekend that still has me LMAO😂

The kids and I went for a Party. It was a lovely Birthday Party of a beautiful 8 Year old😍 The Food was great(I looove buffets) the ambience,simply beautiful! The crowd,my type and the music was just right! With the beautiful kids dancing away. I was simply having a swell time,gisting away and munching on small chops when the hilarious hilarious MC "suddenly remembered" something that turned my nice outing into a comedy show😂

Before the party started,the celebrant's best friend was asked to lead the Opening Prayers. And the sweet child had prayed for her friend. She said all the things kids ask for in Prayers,that God blesses the Celebrant,blesses her Mom,blesses her Dad,keep making her a good girl,make her continually do well in school and then she said "and may You Dear God grant her the determination and focus to pursue her Dream" May she be the best Aeronautical Engineer the World has seen....🙏🏽

Hahahhahaha na so the MC charge😂He called the sweet girl out and asked her what Aeronautical Engineering was. And she schooled him. The MC just kept screaming and shouting🤣"See what you get when you give your kids the best in Nursery and Primary Education. And he jokingly lamented why he got sent to a public school and made to call his Dad to ask why fate dealt him this hand🤣But remembered his phone got stolen weeks ago by hoodlums whom he suspected were his former primary school mates🤣By then we all were laughing like crazy🤣

So he asked the sweet child what she herself wanted to be and with a smile she said "I am planning on becoming a Robotics Engineer" Hahahahahaha😂
The MC just turned and told us "I am done! I no do again! Wey the Mama of the celebrant? I don Waka! Na me u wan set up so?Na me u wan oppress?🤣Hahahahahaha He turned to the celebrant whom he had invited to the stage and asked "Wey your Papa? Tell am say I no do again! Na go be this"

Then he turned and said to us "But first let me call my Mother to ask if she never had a rich suitor" 😂😂😂😂 Na today e dey clear say my Mama dull! Then he looks to us the parents and whispers"Na God go punish those hoodlums wey thief my phone"😂

Then he was like but wait first,wait first "I am learning,The Celebrant,please kindly point out some of ur friends,5 of them,so I would know their professions and get more enlightened.

The beautiful child steps up and she points to her friends and they laughingly step up to the "stage" and one by one,they state what they would like to be in future,from Doctors to Research Scientists to Avionics Engineers to Photonics Engineers and what have you. Predictably,the MC kept "lamenting" and cracking funny jokes asking them what they eat,do their brains get hot🤣Do they see "spirits" LMAO

Then,I noticed something,I could see there was a child at the end of the line but couldn't see who it was properly. And I didn't really mind cos I mean,when the child's turn to talk comes,he or she wil come up to the centre where I can clearly see him or her,so no biggie.

Then as we all laughed,I glanced over at my daughters and saw them laughing so hard 😂and when I caught my eldest's eye,I felt she was trying to tell me something.They were seated in front but across from me and farther too.So there was no way I could hear her. And I didn't really think much about it cos I mean everyone was laughing😂

Then I caught my daughter's eye again and this time,while still trying to control her laughter,she pointedly looked at me and pointed to the stage😂
And that was when I saw my Son!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I don't know if its just me but I am usually struck with the question, how complicated can marriage be?, that two grown adults can't stay in it.
Maybe you can help because the rate of divorce is on the increase. May God help us all.

I have discovered that love doesn't guarantee the success of a relationship. Love cannot help you stick to one person all years round, and on the other hand, cheating isn't always a product of not loving your partner.
In fact, loving someone doesn't guarantee not falling in love with someone else.
Relationships work out mostly because of our head not our heart.
It works out because of our emotional maturity, empathetic intelligence and self discipline because, time will come when you'll see more beautiful, handsome, romantic, intelligent, sexy, rich, curvy and God fearing people than the one you're in a relationship with.

In those times, love will not help you; self control will help you, emotional intelligence will come to your rescue and commitment will keep you going. With those characteristics, no matter how you feel for someone else, the person you're committed to will rank first in your life.
You think happily married people don't see better people than the ones they married? You think they don't feel funny sometimes? You think they don't catch feelings? They do!

But understanding that commitment is greater than feelings is the great arsenal that do destroy that impulse.
You can fall in love with anyone, but building a relationship takes absolutely more than what attracted you to them and takes more than love.

We are too fond of loving when it's convenient and sweet. We are too fond of loving when love is there but that can only last for just the first 3-6 months of the relationship. After then, you'll realise that the feelings have dropped, it's now your responsibility to make it work, not love's responsibility.

Relationships cannot be readymade. You have to build it and it's never always about love, it requires commitment and intelligence. On the long run in marriages, it's not just love that keeps them together forever, it's determination and commitment.
Everyone falls in love; it takes little or no effort to do that. But staying in love? Building a relationship? Only the strong and committed ones do that.
That's why we must find that one person and commit to that one, discipline yourself and bridle your emotions.
Building a relationship is hard work, it's like building a career, It's like pursuing a dream.
It's always tough, at some point it will be so bitter but you can make it work by putting your heads together, you can scale through the trying time by being focus and committed.
The kind of love that attracts two people together is not the kind of love that will keep them together.
Be emotionally strong and be self disciplined. Please imbibe and share with the young adults, married and unmarried couples.

He was that last child in the line😂 He was the one I couldn't see properly. My Son was waiting to state what he would like to be in future😂😂

I briefly wondered how he got up to the stage😂I mean the other kids were between 5 and 8. So a 3 year old had no business Bn up there. He doesn't look like a 3 year old though,so I wondered if they thought he was 4 or even 5. And who took him up there?!😂I also wondered what he was gonna say. At this particular thought,my heart kinda froze for a second😂Cos I suddenly remembered that out of all my kids,this boy is the one that took after me😂He is a Clown! The funniest child I have ever seen!And with a hint of mischief. Nah! What hint?!🤣Not a hint! LMAO. Very mischievous boy!🤣And it's all so funny too cos his quiet voice and calm disposition belies his clownish self😂But then I also remembered that he is very smart and intelligent and so even though I can't remember him discussing what he wants to be in future with me,that it's possible he may have already thought of one. The last Career Day in school,he insisted on wearing a Doctor's coat. So I mean,the boy is good! LMAO😂

But still,I was a bit uneasy. I pushed aside my plate of small chops as people all around me laughed and laughed at the MC and his jokes. At this point,he had come up the line so I could see him and he was standing there waiting for his turn and smiling away and waving at his sisters who were still in stitches about what he was doing up there. My friend at this time had her head in her hands and laughing away and telling me to chill out.I too wondered why I wasn't chilled like everyone else so I just took a sip of water and relaxed. Whatever happens,whatever he says or does,he is still my son,and me,his proud mother still😍

And soon enough it was my 3 year old Son's turn. So with legs crossed and funny scenarios playing in my head and with a smile on my face,I watched on.

And the MC goes " Wow! Big boy! Look at you all decked up and looking soo cute! I looove your shoes! And my son says "Thank You sir! And the MC goes "Wow! Wow! He said "Thank You sir! He added "Sir" He turns to the crowd and said "My eyes have seen something in this Party! I have not MCed such a Party of beautiful intelligent kids before! What is your name little boy? My son says his name.And what would you like to be when you grow up? And my son took the microphone,smiled,looked into the crowd and said "A Masquerade" I would like to be a Masquerade when I growww........

At this point,I couldn't hear anything anymore as the crowd erupted in riotous laughter and as the MC did a crazy dance shouting "I said my eyes have seen something in this Party....not even the Ghetto parties I have MCed have I come across a child who wants to be a Masquerade......Oh boyyy!So it was only the Oyibo-Professionals that come up to the stage? Where are others? Any Native Doctor here? Any Future Bet-Naija owner? Come up! come up! One of una don show!🤣
God bless my Mama and Papa for sending me to Public school o! At least I still dey aspire to be an Actor and not a Masquerade....."

He chanted on as I watched my son run through the crowd,arms outstretched for a hug,shouting "Mama,Mama...Mama! As Everyone and their laughing eyes followed him,trying to see where he was going and who the Mama of the Masquerade Boy was🤣

They have another party next weekend and I have Bn looking at him with side eyes ever since I received the invite😂

Good morning everyone, top of the morning to you all...... Was too busy yesterday with my students.... Had to teach 4 different classes yesterday,so to reply or comment was hard yesterday.... But last nighg i went through the blog and saw the suggestion eka joy made about me calling MTN customer care to lay complaints about my customers data that seems to be disappearing or getting finished quickly.... I have done that before and again i repeated it, and called them severally to speak to more than one to see what they can do regarding this.... All said that there is no way data can just disappear from a phone without it been used...they said i should tell my customers to call them on 180 to lay such complaints and they will use thier system to ascertain how the data from whoever is calling got finished...i was also told to tell my lovely customers to check thier data usage from thier settings on thier respective device, if they dont want to call the customer care line (180)...also i was told that they also receive calls now and then from other users of thier network who subscribe directly from them also and they have to explain the above to them.... Also three of thier separate customer care rep i spoke to also said i should advise my customers to stop auto update of apps and also put passwords on thier mobile hotspot... Because most times they are used up by others, without the owners of the data knowing or when trying to send or receive a file via flash share or xender....most times the connectivity from both devices makes them to share data from the device which created the connection..... Lastly i was also told to tell my customers who say that my data i sell is a cheat to call customer care so that they will ascertain through thier line if the data received from them is a cheat or genuine...lastly i was also forced to ask if the data sharing runs faster than thier own data and i was told no... That mtn does not have data that run on different speed or consumption... That it is the same And it depends on ur area network coverage to determine if your browsing will be faster or not.... So thanks guys for the suggestions and advice, and no am not playing any hate game or not feeling bad about all these complaints most of my lovely customers have been making... But please lets all do as the customer care representatives have suggested and if in doubt or you still have any more questions then feel free to call me or them... Thanks.... Off i go for cds... What do i do to myself, when am really pissed, i can shout at you eeeh especially my loved ones but none of them can let me go, they are like Amy you are so sweet and nice but don't let your anger get hold of you. The one that really touched me yesterday was my sis,i did a wrong transaction cos of her so I had to run around not minding the stress i have been going through this week, i just had to vent the whole anger on her by sending her a stinker but that didn't stop me from doing what i promised to do for her. I later saw she read the message and so i really felt bad and started thinking of how to get back to her before i knew it, she called me and we gisted till late midnight laughing our ass off. She has always been like that since our childhood, always calm when i scream and easily forget things but can really push me with some annoying attitude.
I am that kind of person people are quick to point at due to my temper until they sit and realise it isn't my fault. Note...i don't destroy things oh
I want to stop cos i don't like the feeling after, want to always have this happy girl attitude at all times.

Goodmorning lovelies.. Not feeling myself this morning. My neighbor threatened to kill me just because I asked him why he poured water in front of my apartment even after the landlord has warned him to stop. I was adviced by another neighbor to go to the police to make a report but I don't know how to go about it and I don't know if I am overreacting. Please guys, advice.

At church on Sunday, as the pastors wow us, washing our head to part with our token.
I wonder why the same God he was so richly talking about, did not tell him someone within the congregation needs financial help. To think that that Sunday I only had a meal to share with the kids.
Of what use is it attending all this big churches with unlimited branches and yet lack the selfless will to help its members.

I woke up few minutes to 5, before i knew it rain started oh 😊 I found myself sleeping 😌 again only for i to woke up see day already bright from the window 😭 i jumped down rushed to check time gbam 15 to 7 chineke! I couldn't gather family for morning devotion God have mercy on me, just being singing praises same time found myself doing other things, praying sections did not take up to 2minutes. My kids missed school bus i took them myself. Top of the day lovlets 😘😘😘

The way this children look at me each time they are hungry, its like I failed already.
