Hmmm, its time to sit on our Fave couch and discuss Ish about gifts!..I love gifts !
Return this gift given to me sincerely?why would I do that?I will return him to his mum...WTF.
He should be thanking the ex and keeping it moving....Anyone who gives conditions like this before Marriage is a time bomb waiting to explode and should be avoided even as lover, talk less of husband ...My two cents opinion and I am unapologetic about it.
Would you return this?
Let us look at it fro both sides,Ex here refer to both Male and Female please...
It is selfish people that keep asking to return what i gave to you. How can you do that when Jesus even died for all of us to be set free.
ReplyDeleteI wont return nada.
A gift opens the way and ushers the giver into the presence of the great.
DeleteProverbs 18:16
You know the only problem with that gift up there?
It may make a way for the ex through the wife's vagina and she won't be able to say no while married.
Always weigh the motives of the giver and ask God for help if you need insight.
And you say you "love your husband?"
How will you drive a car he disapproves of?
Will he ever ride on that car with you?
Anon 14:41 excuse me. So you mean.... because someone gives you a car gift, they automatically have access to your vagina? Like gift wey you no ask oh, Na it go give person that kind access? How?? Indefinite access for that matter. I ask again... how?? Is it not when you pick his call or agree to visit or even see him? Will he meet you on the road and demand access to your vagina??
Delete@Chikito
DeleteAnd the same husband that opposed the gift will ride with you on that car?
Same husband you say you "love?"
As if you girls don't open vagina asunder for a lot less or even for free
Anon..can you shataaap!!!
DeleteIm returning nada. This is my pension for time wasted na.
DeleteNo way am I returning that fine ass car, that is my payment for wasting my precious time dating his/her sorry ass...infact I call this gift pension bonus from the Ex
ReplyDelete☺☺☺☺☺

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha My Bele O. Na Real Pension Bonus.
DeleteLmao.... You are case... Pension indeed.
DeleteReturn say who die? If i hear
DeleteReturn fire!!!!! So long as I wasnt yet married to you, every gift I received stays.
ReplyDeleteSome men ego smell like shit... Well dos that can't afford it will ask to return it. But dos dat can afford it won't have that problem. I gues
ReplyDeleteGbam gbamer Gbamest
Deleteto begin with, me gan will never tell my boyfriend about gifts given to me by someone else...not his business. not that I'm trying to be secretive, but I just don't think he needs to know
ReplyDeleteAs simple as that. What am I telling him for?
DeleteToday is Friday, let me keep my opinion on this one...
ReplyDeleteThis is a gift I received before wedding why should it now be an issue.
ReplyDeleteIf it comes to that for everyone's peace of mind I'll return it as long as he's going to be buying a much better one than the one I returned. That'll be my condition for returning it, since the car is his condition for the wedding to take place. We will all be 'conditioning' during the marriage abi.
Very 'stew-pid' threat.
Why should I return it for what abeg call off the wedding
ReplyDeleteNo real man will allow you to accept such gift except a riff raff and a broke ass!...
ReplyDeleteGod bless you queen! You should even be worried if he allows you accept it.
DeleteTell them o.
DeleteIt is only a man that is not sure of his woman.......,a man with a trailer load of EGO or a high tension jealous kind of man.
Delete*********
Hmm.. Return fire. I'm in a good relationship with my ex and I know when I will be wedding he will give me a special gift. Let's say I told my fiance about my ex what will even make him ask me to return the gift? OK now I know'his ego'. Yeah he will feel jealous. I won't want a car gift from my ex though, it's going to be a constant reminder of him. Like every damn time you see the ride
ReplyDeleteMy fiance ( now husband) gave me money to pay back my ex for the cash gift he ( my ex ) gave me. I was dating ( no sex) my ex when i met my husband and during the period i was getting to know my husband, my ex gave me a big cash gift and i told him. He said nothing, proposed the next week and gave me the money to return to my ex. Hmm, me return an innocent gift? I just took the cash, thanked him, called my friend and we entered Balogun. I bought fine clothes and accessories and went on a girls' date with my colleagues. End of story. Return fire!
DeleteMa babe! Chop knuckle
DeleteI don't even need to show my hubby before returning it. Anything from an ex should irritate the hell outta you
ReplyDeleteHe Be Like Say U No Know Aw Much Dis Car Go Make 4 Market. Sit Down Dere Make Pata Dey Wr U.
DeletePls mr ex keep your useless gift. Its a big trap! Why you no gift me wen we still dey date
ReplyDeleteSince the gift was from my ex with no more strings attached , I will collect it. My Fiance should not harbour any bitterness about it, same is applicable to me if he gets a gift from his Ex too. This life is too simple.
ReplyDeleteStella, sincerely speaking I will not return it neither will I ask my wife to return hers, but I will make sure every thing about the ex is cut off!.Lol
ReplyDeleteReturn fire
DeleteStella that thing wey you type no follow at all. Put yourself in your fiancé's shoes wouldn't you do the same? And are you saying he can't buy you better than that gift
ReplyDeleteKam nukwa!
DeleteI totally agree with you Stels. A man that can be insecure about your past will be worse in marriage. You will constantly be going against yourself to please him. He can keep it stepping... I am not returning anything unless the ex himself asks for it back.

ReplyDeleteI will return it without even a second thought. Let him keep his gift,my fiance can buy better
ReplyDeleteReturn fire!
ReplyDeleteWhy would I collect it in the first place, naturally any self respecting man will ask you to return it. For an ex to buy you this might mean that okafors law can be invoked.
ReplyDeleteBtw, my ex is ex for a reason, if MY ex gifted me this, I'd collect it oo(i deserve compensation for the shit that guy put me through) I'd collect it but NEVER tell DH who gave me. Then sell it. Lol. God knows I need that money. Marriage ain't easy sha...
You seem quite confused. Its either you zig or you zag. Zig zagging is not allowed. You seem like the type that can fuck an ex every now and then all because of money
DeleteI Go Return Am 4 Next Generation. In Shut My Gr8 Grnd Kids Will Return It In D Future Coming. Mtcheeeeeeeeeeew
ReplyDeleteSome men will pretend like they are cool with it only to taunt you later in the marriage . Some men will not believe he is just an ex who cares about you. Abeg, I will return it. He should have given it to me in the course of our relationship.
ReplyDeleteAgreed with you Stella but I have to verify the motive behind the gift and if I find out something fishy...she will either return it or I return her.
ReplyDeleteDontQuoteMe™
I will not. A gift is a gift . What ever happens after that does not mean I should ask for the gift back or return a gift . I don't understand why people do that.
ReplyDeleteEayaa, this can bring a constant reminder of him in my new home,so we might sell it and get another
ReplyDeleteWon't return bit sell it and invest for another biz but hubby be ready to buy me a car otherwise he won't know about further moves. If his Ex give him a gift except for baby mama drama, it is his choice what he wants to do with it but I will sell the car to minimise his headache when I cruise the car but to return the gift is a capital NO
ReplyDeleteReturn gini? I can't return anything, I won't even mentioned were the gifts came from, appreciation will be sent all by myself 😀
ReplyDeleteWould return it, men have ego watching you drive a car from an ex will keep bruising his ego. If really want peace return it God might bless him so much in future that he can buy you something much bigger
ReplyDeleteWould return it, men have ego watching you drive a car from an ex will keep bruising his ego. If really want peace return it God might bless him so much in future that he can buy you something much bigger
ReplyDeleteWill return it for peace to reign, that will be the man I'm about spending the rest of my life with, so I will but I'm so good in convincing people if I fail in doing so, then surely keeping the gift will bring issues later, so will return it
ReplyDeleteAm a man and I will say it depends on the situation in which they separated. I always advice men to have an idea about your girlfriend's Ex. Not in details but in summary on why they part ways and the kind of person her Ex is. If he is the manipulative type I will advice her not to take it but if he is not the insecure type then I will say take it cause once I know she is mine and know she is a reliable, trustworthy woman then it's a gift that can't change or affect our marriage. I attended my Ex's wedding, know the husband and even we are friends on Facebook but I have kept my distance by not initiating contact except when we bump into ourselves at functions. We parted ways on a very good note for a very good reasonable reason and no regrets on both sides. Her husband too knows and as long as I respect her marriage and stay off she has done the same for me. A gift from me or her will definitely be welcome anytime if the occasion arises.
ReplyDeleteYou deserve a hug for this comment. 😍😍😍. Exactly!
DeleteIt depends on d kind of ex and what lead to the breakup.if my fiancé is the reason for the breakup I ll not collect it,but if we have broken up on a neutral bases, then I ll collect and keep it.but if its a pre wedding gift n my man says no,for obvious reasons I ll return it.but make my man ready to buy car for me o.though I ll not blame my fiancé sha.the gift of a man maketh way for him.before d ex starts feeling entitled and u feeling indebted. Inferiority complex self,if ur fiancé is not rich.
ReplyDeleteit depends on the way the two parted.
ReplyDeleteLike me i parted ways peacefully with my Ex cos he wasnt ready. i invited him to my wedding. he gave me Iphone7 and 50k mint cash. Hubby was with me when he gave my bros to give me. We couldnt take a pic because he was in a hurry to travel back to Lagos. Till today we still chat but no sex chat. i have also invited him to my son's dedication next month. So it depends.
But to be sincere if i happen to meet my Ex in a hidden place i will FUCK AND FUCK AND FUCK HIM. The guy is sweet biko. Thank you for your curse. Back to you.
Hahhahaha werey
Deletei still use my Iphone7 joor.
ReplyDeleteFor peace to reign, I would sell it and buy myself another car after we get married.
ReplyDeleteReturn fire!!!
Everyone is saying "I won't return it" what if it were his ex who gifted him such, would you still want him to keep it. It'll only send the message that they still have something going on. In the future, the "gifter"may want to get involved with your partner and the cost of the gift may not permit him to say no and mean it.
ReplyDeleteI 'll never accept such gift with my whole heart, wetin my partner no want he no want be that , I no fit trade our joy and happiness for the world. Gift can go make I for fit breathe well.
