The NAF said the deployment of the air assets was not only based on the request of the Nigerian Army for air support but inevitable due to the wide expanse of the exercise area.
A statement on Tuesday night by the Director of Information and Public Relations of the NAF, Air Commodore Olatokunbo Adesanya, said “the essence of the deployment is to provide the necessary air cover to the ground troops to enhance overall operational cohesion and efficiency.
The statement supported with video footage showed two Alpha Jet Aircrafts on aerial surveillance of the coverage area.

Don't u think they're more needed at Sambisa?
ReplyDeleteAnyway, Buhari said an attack on Boko Haram is an attack on the North. May God punish the devil made flesh.
Benue needs help after the devastating flooding. Chibok needs air surveillance to help find the 'missing' girls. The army corps of Engineers can help build the River Niger bridge. And what r they doing in the east? Harassing and making life difficult for the 5%. Una welldone.
ReplyDeleteThere's nothing like the Chibok missing girls ooooo.isn't it glaring now with all what's happening it was staged so as to paint Jonathan as an incompetent president.
DeleteThe strategy and modus operandi of the boko haram is quite similar to that of a people with a strong military background. The way the boko haram operates is like they are been led by a military general, take time to study the different terrorist groups in the world and you will see that the boko haram is not a terrorist group but a political motivated movement which managed to escalate to something else(the founders re no longer able to control it again for it has grown wings like a faulty robot who revolts against the orders of his creator due to a malfunction )...I didn't call names o .
Read this book MANHUNT by Peter L.Bergen, you should be able to deduce a little the way these terrorists operate, then compare it to our boko haram.
Nice One...
ReplyDeleteWonderful!!!
ReplyDeleteIt is well
ReplyDeleteThis government want to create an impression that war is going on in the south East just to score cheap point .it's unfortunate that the only resolution to civilian unrest by former military rulers has always been with army aid.
ReplyDelete. What's the duty of police in a civilian government setting?
We should stop voting men with military background into office, they have no political training. Therefore, lack civil agenda .

ReplyDeleteNdi iberibe!
All this, just to get to Nnamdi Kanu. So FG can be this responsive and no moves were made on the issue of Fulani herdsmen with their AK47's that have been raping, killing and taking over communities and their farm land. It's so obvious that there are 2 sets of rules in Nigeria, one for the north and another for the south. The sooner people realize this the better.
ReplyDeleteWhen he said he was for everybody(All the Northerners) and nobody(South, East and West) you thought he was joking ba? Una never see anything, next time when you people hear "bu" you will pull your two shoes and run before they say "hari"
DeleteThe way some people comment leave me speechless at times
ReplyDeleteBut I don't even have strength for argument this beautiful morning
