DeleteSaturday's chronicle poster talked about closing her facebook account cos she was tired of seeing her friend's married.
I was like that last year. Each te I went there, it seemed everyone was getting married except me. I was experiencing heartbreaks and anxiety. So I decided to stop visiting FB for my peace of mind. I never bother uploading any pics.
But towards the end of the year, I had a change of heart and braced up my self to be happy for others. I posted a few beautiful pics.But after a while, I started getting depressed again and left for a while.
I didnt even realise that an old school mate ( now hubby) had sent me a message. When I bothered to check FB, I quickly replied o, lol.
And that was it.
So dear poster, try to have a thick skin but try to maximise social media. People get jobs, business networks and even spouses from there.
But shine your eyes. I wish you well dear.

DeleteI just saw the movie Zahra on Irokotv and I didn't know the time I started crying, I didn't know I was capable of such emotion. I have cried over a movie before but not a Nigerian one. Oh I shed tears this morning imagining how internally displaced persons live in their IDP settlements. If a film can touch me so much I can only imagine how far worse their situation is for real, the fact that the people placed to protect them still take advantage of them just makes me wonder why humans are so cruel to one another. The privileges we take for granted and some just need a place to rest their head at night, a cup of water, a loaf of bread and a life free from molestation and harassment. Gosh, people are suffering. I'd continue to thank God everyday for all I have and ask him for nothing. Forgive my ramblings, no work for me this week. Have a wonderful new week all

I woke up this morning and couldn't help but thank God for good health for me and my son. It's been a very long time since I visited hospital for treatment. The last time I was sick was weeks ago and I took some tablets for a few days and I was fine. My son too, these days, if he has fever, I will just give him tablets and he will be fine. ReplyDeleteI have a problem that has been bothering me. There is this lady I know, she is heavily pregnant and may pop any moment from now. Her younger sisterstays with her. My problem is, her house is quite small and I am wondering how she and her sister are going to cope when baby arrives. Even her bed is hardly enough for two.
So I am thinking whether to ask her to come stay with me pending when she rounds up her programme around Oct/Nov. My place is quite spacious and can take all of us.
Is it okay for me to ask her to come? Or should I just mind my business?

ReplyDeleteFriday midnight, i had a dream where they were just pursuing me, the funniest thing is that it is one small girl of about 10 or 12 years old, telling them where i am hiding. If i hide the girl will catch me and shout she is here. I ran seriously and had to hide again, this girl came again, as she held my hands, i used my teeth to bite her seriously and i woke up. I was really annoyed because she is a small girl, so why would i even bite her when i can beat her very well. I remembered three scenarios that happened and that i was not careful because i ate anyhow in the office, I through away cautions because it is from food your enemies can get you. Secondly, someone bought a gift for me, sent it through someone i dont know, i get it inside my bag and thirdly someone put my name in a group on facebook to become a member, and the person is my friend, i think she felt i should belong to the group.
I was really annoyed when i woke up in the dream and had serious headache. On Sunday after service, i went to see my Bishop, i did not tell him anything he started praying that every monitoring agents against you, my God remove them and may they never see you. I wanted to tell him my dreams but since he prayed about monitoring agents i closed mouth and showed him the group that they put my name and told him to look at it and tell me if my name should be there because i always comment on that group on facebook. He loooked at the name and the picture of that person and said this one has made a pact (a convenant). Kindly remove yourself from this group.
Just need to tell you guys i have kindly removed myself and will never comment on it again because I checked that yesterday night and saw them rejoicing for the numbers of people they have. Make una no vex i had to say it so that i can be free.
Before joining any group, kindly pray about it so that you wont want to be where you are not supposed to be.
make una forget my gbagaun. Forget the messenger but make una get the message.

ReplyDeleteI'm the anon woman of Saturday SP whom my husband said we should stop bathing with sponge and soap in the night before bedtime that it washes away good luck.
So after the way I treated him and that morning quarrelling he now said yesterday that he had done research on it again and that they said it was only applicable in the olden days when they bathed with black soap. That it is black soap that is bad to use at night. So he has started bathing well at night again since yesterday. I think he loves me and doesn't want anything to bring strife between us cos some husbands would have turned it to a big fight for denying him that 'thing' because of that small excuse. Woke up cool this monday morning, message came in on my husband phone i decided to read it because d sender was my mum, only for me to see that my mum sent my hubby the contact of one herb man all in d name of TTC. The real gist is that i have been trying to conceive and my mum said i should follow her to where she treats her self(herbal, aGBo and all) i went with her and the man ran a test for my, he gave me something to hold and was looking at his laptop, aftet the test he said nothing was wrong with me, just infection. He said he will gibe me some herbal drink for infection and black soap to wash my private part. Immediately i heard that i got pissed didnt say anything until i left the place. My mum noticed and asked me if i am interesTed and i said no way, i cant use black soap to wash my virgina, i dont understand why i should and another reason is i feel its diabolic. Since then my mum has been disturbing me. I didnt let my husband know i went anywhere. To cut the story short, my mum called my hubby without my permission and told him she has and herbal treatment place she uses that we should both go there together. Hubby told me and all somehow sha, but he didnt tell me my mum even sent him the herbal man number. So am very pissed, why didnt he tell me she sent him d number.

Anon09:57,Ve you gone for HSG test? Though the procedure is a little bit not comfortable but you might be lucky to conceive after it (a close cousin did the test and conceived).May God bless you soon with a miracle that sounds untrue.

Maybe your hubby knows how you will react that's why he kept it from you. I also feel you should try the herbs since that is what your mum uses. You know your mum cannot deliberately try to hurt you right? goodluck!
