Minister Of Women Affairs Says ''Even If Buhari Runs In 2019, I Will Support Atiku''

The Minister of Women Affairs, Aisha Alhassan, has restated her position that she will support a former vice president, Atiku Abubakar, for the 2019 presidential election.

Mrs. Alhassan, in an interview with BBC Hausa, added that even if President Muhammadu Buhari decides to contest in 2019, she would still support Mr. Abubakar. Atiku is my godfather even before I joined politics,” she said in Hausa. “And again, Baba Buhari did not tell us that he is going to run in 2019.

“Let me tell you today that if Baba said he is going to contest in 2019, I swear to Allah, I will go before him and kneel and tell him that ‘Baba I am grateful for the opportunity you gave me to serve your government as a minister but Baba just like you know I will support only Atiku because he is my godfather. If Atiku said he is going to contest.”

Mrs. Alhassan, popularly called Mama Taraba, added that she is not scared of being relieved of her job as minister.
“If because of what I said, I am sacked, it will not bother me because I believe in Allah, that my time has elapsed that is why.

  9. Barracudianusaurusunamon - Hi, Guys. It's me again. (:

How is she a mole, like you read, before she joined politics, Atiku has been her godfather, that means she has been aided so many a time, and she has to pay her due respect and loyalty in kind. Then again, down to our musophobic, ill-health President Buhari, why would someone support him after all his never-ending tantrums and fight for corruption that we aren't seeing the supposed outcome, thing is; she has made a great pre-election vote of confidence, if in fact her godfather joins the train, others should follow suit, there is no way in all planets Buhari wins this, no, no, no.

    Cheers.

  10. That's loyalty. At least she's being honest with her intentions and not being a sycophant.

  11. She should have resigned first, since her current boss has not declared one way or another. Her action is very disrespectful (except Baba gave her go ahead in camera) and disloyal.
If I where her boss I would relief her of her duties with immediate effect, but PMB can be slow at these things, More so now he is not strong.
