Yes, it does.
ReplyDeleteThe heart wants what it wants...
DeleteWhen youre in love with someone, the term "cheating" is redefined, it brings a while new meaning 2u, cus your jealous streak has been heightened, "Sexting" with the opposite sex can be translated to cheating, putting ur eggs in more than one basket can also be considered cheating, even if ure not sleepin with them all, so yeah.. cheating counts wella if ure not married, the hearts are married, it just hasnt been official yet. #SickMindedAtheist.
Capital NO.
ReplyDeleteCheating is cheating once you have an agreement to be mutually exclusive. Verbal, traditional, church vow etc. The fact u agree one thing and do another is the cheating not marriage.
DeleteOf course it does. If the person has told his partner he wants an open relationship and she agreed then it's not cheating.
ReplyDeleteIf he goes to A in the morning and tells her he loves her and goes to B in the afternoon and says he hasn't live with out her then that is cheating unless both A and B agreed to have an open relationship with him.
It's vice versa for both sexes
You can't steal someone that doesn't want to be stolen. Yes cheating counts even when you're not married unless you're in an open relationship. That is why there is a big difference between dating and courting. You can date as many as you want until you meet the one you want to marry then courtship begins.
ReplyDeleteCourtship involves commitment towards marriage. Dating is just err let's see how it goes, I can choose to be faithful or not,no meeting the family or friends. We are just enjoying each other's company.
Strangers don't get married at least that's what I know it should be.. When a man and woman decide to commit themselves exclusively into an intimate relationship,it's only commonsense that both parties should honour that commitment, because out of the 6 billion people on earth to choose from, you guys chose each other at that particular moment. A Relationship takes time and sacrifices from both parties to work, even a sibling relationship is not even easy. So when you feel you can no longer commit to the relationship,it's only right and honorable to reasonably end things with the person and move on,people who cheat are morally bankrupt, dishonest and shady.
ReplyDeleteSingles, married, stay faithful to your partner. Most married people who cheat started it when they were single.
ReplyDeleteIn this blog, they say don't keep one egg in your basket, and then get mad tomorrow when their partner cheats. For those single ones, stay faithful to each other, if you have that belief that one is free to date several persons then don't expect to person to be faithful to you when married, if it doesn't work out, leave the person instead of opening your korokoro eyes and marry him/her and expect the person to change.
U can date severally in early stages before becoming mutually exclusive. Before sex and anything more than kissing
DeleteTo me if he/she hasn't marry you, it's not cheating because you can't make any claim to the property that is not bought. But if you have made promises to each other, it's always good to keep your promise or else don't make any. To avoid curses.
ReplyDeleteNo it does not, cos you belong to no one yet
ReplyDeleteYes it does count.Anyone who cheats while in a relationship will definitely cheat in marriage.I can't stand cheats.
ReplyDeleteDating might not be marriage, but it's a form of commitment whereby you take time to study each other's character to know if you both are compatible. The end goal being marriage,so if you can't be faithful to someone during the dating Peri, you definitely won't be faithful during marriage.
If I go on dates with guys, I don't consider that cheating
ReplyDeleteHaving sexual relations with another man/woman while you're in a serious relationship is cheating.
The only time I consider myself cheating on you is when am having sex with someone else
Every other thing is far from cheating.
Hope you will say the same with your man when he goes on dates with other girls
DeleteJoseph and Angela have been dating for 2 years now, joseph cheats on Angela and Angela knows about it, Angela cheats on joseph and joseph knows about it too, they both believe that since they are married they can fuck other people and still be together or probably blame the devil when caught. Fast forward one year later, they are married, joseph expects Angela to be faithful to him since they are married, Angela expects joseph to be faithful to her since they are now married but nah! They are now used to fuck other people

ReplyDeleteMy Point Of View (MPoV)
ReplyDeleteMy Point of View depends on my location and focal point which is translated to my mental and psychological well being. Our intellectual variety would also make our point of view different from each other, but most times we agree to disagree.
Having said that, I would love to talk about an integral part of this lovely blog which is the Single and Mingle Post. It has been a lovely platform for people to connect, hook up and find love. I'll be focusing on the positive aspect of this awesome platform because I believe the Blogger meant it for good.
However, being a participant in the last two editions of Single and Mingle, I have noticed some things I feel we should consider, which are my opinions (My Point of View).
The social media has given us the platform to broaden our horizon, find love, interact and socialise with people from different backgrounds and spheres of life. And I commend this blog for creating a social platform that gives people the chance to socialise.
Participating in the Single and Mingle Post has given me the opportunity to meet some amazing people. My intent was to find love and I am still searching. But these are my observations....
1. ATTENTION: We all love the attention we get from people who want to get to know us and meet us, but most times we get carried away by the euphoria and lose the major reason why we gave out our phone numbers, BBM Pins or Email addresses. We forget that this euphoric experience would only last a couple of days and we get tired of the whole thing. We can concentrate on accepting a maximum of 10 (a suggestion) invites or the number of people we meet so has to give us the opportunity to get to know them better without getting lost in multiple conversations with loads of people thereby losing the essence of the post.
2. TIMING: Stella's timing for the post is always right because she picks the weekends or long holidays which would give people ample time to reply messages and meet people. But our timing is usually wrong. Most people participate when they are not psychologically, emotionally, financially and physically ready to meet people and find that love they so desire.
3. OBJECTIVES/GOALS: The comment section for the post is usually flooded with people who do not know what they want. Being specific will filter your search for the man or woman who you want to meet. What are your relationship goals.
4. DISTANCE: We say distance is not a barrier but we all know it is. And even though long distance relationship work for some, the percentage is quite minimal. With time people who lack patience tend to lose interest.
5. ATTITUDE: Our attitude towards people who took out time to get in touch and stay in touch with us is usually not welcoming. Being polite and friendly would send a positive signal.
6. CHOICE: We have the power to choose who we eventually end up with. We also have the power to discern and be wise when we observe red flags flying everywhere. No one is perfect, so when he portrays a perfect gentleman all the time, be careful.
6. LOVE: We shouldn't be blinded by our desire to find love, because it's usually fragile especially when we meet people online. Love is hard work, communication and commitment.
Stelz......... You are doing a great job and the lives of the people you touch will ever be grateful to you.
These are my observations and they are my point of view
Thanks.

In my opinion, it doesn't count. People will say what if a couple are in a committed relationship, and my response is this: if they are in a committed relationship and they are having sex then they are already cheating, so it doesn't count. The only time it counts in a committed relationship is when they are not sexually involved or when a couple is married.
ReplyDeleteThe idea of cheating can only come up in a marriage or a committed relationship without sex. Outside that there is nothing like cheating when a boyfriend and girlfriend are relationship that involves sex.
Cheating Is allowed in a relationship..
ReplyDeleteYes its allowed..
We are both still exploring..
Not that someone will feel one sense of entitlement.
If u wan to cheat, cheat..
If I want u to stay u stay, if not we end it.
๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐
I'm just joking ooooo
Na lie, u don talk your mind.
DeleteYou are single until you are married legally so there is nothing like cheating before marriage probably some simple random sampling lol (research methodology). Keep bleeping until you get the ring on legally.
ReplyDeleteI don't owe it to my partner to be faithful whilst it's just a relationship and vice versa. The commitment to be faithful is only non-negotiable in marriage...not some boyfriend-girlfriend 'play'.
ReplyDeleteI'm only faithful to him because I choose to plus there's a great possibility I'd never find someone like him whose crazy matches mine and very much a deviant like me.
MISS Jacobs.
When my husband and I was dating, whenever I catch him cheating thru going thru his phone,he is always like baby it is you that I want to be with, bla bla bla and I told him okay when I get back to abuja, I will date who so ever I wanna date since it is you I wanna be with too. And he will say it's not like that bla bla bla, guess what I told him in my place it is forbidden for a man to cheat on his wife bcos if he cheats, our kids or me or him will fall ill so badly that hospital can't treat except some spiritual cleansing that will be done in my village,(I think it is a bit true sef) guy man fear, and I told him to call and ask anyone from my place. Guess what we got married and he wasn't scared at all and he was cheating behind my back. And bang he fell seriously ill for 2 yrs , one day I had to ask him and he said yes,he cheated and I was what if I was the one sick for something I never did.

ReplyDeleteThey are both cheating themselves out of peace of mind and eternal life.
ReplyDeleteWhen God said "flee fornication", "Marriage is honorable. .."
You should wait till you get married to have sex.
There is a difference between courtship and dating.
ReplyDeleteIf you are courting and you cheat, issa no no cos this stage requires commtiment
But dating?well, if you are the one man one woman type, stick to him/her. If you got other fishes, ok. Keep sampling but play safe not to ruin/loose a possible good catch.
Oh yeah side woman of the world! ๐๐๐๐

DeleteCheating counts. Anyway there is no difference between big sin or small sin. All is sin. Cheating counts and should be discouraged.
ReplyDeleteBut if you want to cheat, cheat with frogs with golden eggs
Mama D and sexy queen come take a big hug,you have said it all.
ReplyDeleteWhether single or married no woman will love to be cheated on for any reason. Only a woman who is cheating would be comfortable if her man cheats on her.
It doesn't matter the stage of a relationship, an agreement is an agreement.
"Do unto others as you want others to do unto you"
