    7. It’s called history children.... at this rate the next generation will know nobody. That’s why y’all have no respect for true leaders because you don’t know their worth. Every sane country has leaders they look up to. Not Nigerians .... not deep at all!

  7. You all shouting misplaced priority.... Shut it up.
If it was your father's image that was used as the statue would that still be your comment?
Please leave him alone if you are blind and you can't see what the governor has done so far, go to the east you will learn.

  8. That's an Icon there! A man full of wisdom and intelligence. A visionary leader per excellence, whose ideals should ordinarily be a legacy to be passed on, but reverse is the case with today's politicians.

For those who think it's a misplaced priority, think again. That statute is a post humous honour, well deserving. It's to remind us all what his likes(Zik and co) stood for. What they fought for and defended till they breathe their last. It is to inspire us that if we do what is right, posterity will never forget us.

We all travel and see the statues, images and portraits of their Icons and we praise them for not forgetting their heroes, hypocrites! We stand beside them and snap, and yet we condemn ours, sad!

How we think government should focus on just one aspect and until it is "perfected" all others aspects should suffer beats me honestly.
