Nigeria’s home-based Eagles Sunday, suffered a 4-1 humiliating loss to Ghana in the final match of the 2017 WAFU Nations Cup.
The Black Stars wrapped up an almost perfect night with a fourth goal thanks to a strike from Winnful Cobbinah, followed by a consolation strike from Nigeria’s Rabiu Ali to see the game end 4-1.
The final awards ceremony saw Nigeria’s Ikechukwu Ezenwa awarded the Golden Gloves accolade for the best keeper of the tournament despite conceding four goals in the final.
*Ghana whooped us four goals?I must be dreaming!
It's for real. Win some, lose some, that's the game.
ReplyDeleteKikikikikikiki real whooping. However in my humble opinion, they tried. Our national sports is riddled with a lot of brouhaha. We actually need a better national plan and framework and for sure apart from winning laurels the economy would be boosted.
