Ifeanyi Maxwell Dike, the suspected ritual killer of the late 8-year-old girl, has apologised for the heinous crime, and revealed that no one aided his escape from police net in Port Harcourt.
Dike, a second year Physics student of the University of Port Harcourt, had escaped from the premises of the State CID in Port Harcourt after he was paraded for allegedly killing his eight-year old niece, Victory Chikamso, for ritual purposes.
However, he was later re-captured by men of the Plateau state Police Command at Barkin Ladi, a few weeks after his escape .
Dike confessed that he escaped on his own, adding that he got frustrated and decided to run from Port Harcourt to Jos.
In his words:
“I am a student of UNIPORT. When I got to Jos, I started hiding again, even though I know that nobody knows me there. I was living inside an uncompleted building in that place but I could not endure anymore, because I was hungry. I now came out and somebody looked for my trouble. The Hausa boy then use something like knife to cut my hand. Out of anger, I took a screw driver and stabbed him. That’s how they took us to police station.”
The suspected killer said he had to call one of his aunties that helped confirm his identity, because the police didn’t believe him when reveled his identity to them. He added, “I know what I have done is wrong. I know that the world is not happy with me, but I want to say I am sorry.”
CP Zaki Ahmed, the Rivers state Commissioner of Police, however stressed that Dike would be arraigned in court as soon as possible, adding that he was overwhelmed with the reaction from members of the public on the case, as that will aid the police fight crime in the state.

*This man should be locked and the keys thrown away,it is only God that knows how many people he has killed.
See his strong face. And they say he is 23? Looks 43 to me.

Hang him!
"That is how they took us to the police station".
ReplyDeleteConfirmation that it wasn't the police who caught him. So why are they still trying to take credit for his re-arrest?
They better give that man the credit and the reward money.
Ask them oh,police should give credit to the man that captured him.
DeleteAh ah!
ReplyDeleteI thought the other man said Ifeanyi was crashing in one of his unused laundry rooms and later came to attack him inside his own house?🤔
Whatever mehn! This guy should be given the death penalty already.
Anakosasi!!!
DeleteHehehe first time hearing TGW sounding mean. Ifeanyi your own is finished.
DeleteThis reminds me of one old bv that use the name Ifeanyi and dude always sound like Chike Teflon, hope I'm not mistaken.
Obviously the police told him what to say which is:
Delete1. Never admit that an officer aided your initial escape.
2. Nobody caught you and brought you in as reported by the man who allegedly had a tussle with you when you attacked him after hiding in their unused laundry room.
Reasons for these cover up?
1. NPF trying to redeem their image
2. NPF avoiding to part with the 1million naira ransome.
My thoughts.
Can this guy be hanged already? In full public glare that is.
Keep Quiet!
ReplyDeleteThey helped you escape!!!
Asswipe!
So where is that man that said he was the one that captured ds guy in Jos. Nawa o.....Anyway he is poor so i am certain he will go to jail

DeleteThis wicked man should be drown in jail already, to hell with his apology
ReplyDeleteThis dude is a a hardened and stubborn criminal. I watched his interview on TVC yesterday and he bluntly told the press he was to thirsty to answer questions. No form of remorse and he doesn't look 23 one bit.
ReplyDeleteSo you wasn't satisfied with killing someone, he went to the North to stir up inter tribal war..
ReplyDeleteThank God the situation didn't escalate.. Because this northerners can easily turn little fights to war..

ReplyDeleteAfter killing a human being,a baby you can't create even an ant. Bring her back from death if you can.
We need death sentence for child killers. What keys should they throw away?
How do you have the heart to harm a child. Even some killers still have sentiments for kids.
May you never know peace.
You wasted Thatchild. Rot in hell.
ReplyDeleteThey should shut this guy's mouth already please
ReplyDeleteDid I hear him apologising? Ifeanyi should be locked inside a dark room filled with snakes and scorpions and get the key lost. Idiot, how could you be such heartless. Your re-arrest shows that Chikamso blood is actually crying for vengeance. You are a product of end time.
ReplyDeleteExactly

ReplyDeleteHe should be hung, drawn and quartered. Go and apologise to the spirit of the girl you killed and dismembered, and to God.
