STAND ALONE NARRATIVE
Inviting An EX To Your Wedding And The Repercussion....
I'll like this to be a topic of discussion.
Need to know the opinions of BVs pertaining this.
A friend gisted me of what her friend told her, of what happened some years back.My friend knows the person it happened to.....
So, it happened that this certain guy was dating one girl in Port Harcourt (maybe an undergraduate,) and even engaged her.
Then he met this very beautiful girl( the most beautiful girl where my mutual friend stays) and started dating her.
He eventually engaged her too and they talked of marriage and preparations took place.
He then went and told his first fiancee about the latter and even gave her an invitation for their marriage.
She was so devastated, even her friends started making jest of her with it. She was frustrated.
Then, she went to a very small but very deadly stream in her village (Ikwere girl). And cried so bitterly until the goddess of the stream came out and asked her what happened?
She explained everything.
The goddess asked her what she wanted, and she said she wanted revenge.
So the goddess gave her a very beautiful breakable plate to present at the marriage. She wrapped it in a gift wrapper and went to the marriage on the day.
After everything said and done, the man only eats with that very plate she presented to them(nobody knew it was her gift cos there wasn't any name inclined on it).
If peradventure, the wife didn't use that very plate to serve him food, the hubby would quarrel with her.
Eventually, she became pregnant and gave birth to a boy, but she started getting smaller and With time she became so sick.
They took her to all hospitals, but, couldn't detect what was wrong with her.
It continued like that for long before she finally died.
It was after her death that it occurred to her family that they should have gone places spiritual to know what was wrong.
They eventually did.
It was then revealed that the hubby offended someone so they should go apologize to the person, else, more tragedy with occur.
They finally met the girl.
Then, she revealed that as the hubby was eating with the plate, he was eating his wife's body.
So, in conclusion, he ate his wife to death.
So now to my question.
1. What will you do if you see your husband-to-be's EX or his girlfriend attend your marriage?
2. You as the Ex or girlfriend, why will you accept to attend the marriage of your Ex or boyfriend to another woman?
3. You as the man, why will you invite your girlfriend to your marriage to another woman. As in, what were you thinking?
Omg!!!!!, what did I just read?
ReplyDeleteEven tho this story sounds lie a nollywood scrit were Chacha or Chika Ike was the ex, let me answer question.
DeleteIve heard severally that imove on fast, not sure why but i knw i love hard but when not appreciated, i cant force anyone, i talk mysef out and once i move on, i genuinely bcome happy for the supposed ex. I can attend th wedding if i knw your family or have a good "rapo" and if i ve time and strngth. I wont try too hard to go out of my way but if i can make it, then...Inviting you depends on my partner, what he isnt comfortable with, i wont do.
I have the mindset tht we wrestle not against flesh and blood, its beyond the physical so i knw you dont have to have contact with me to harm me. I try to be good then soak myself in Gods blood all the time so no evil will befall me.
Thank you!
I can't vouch for this poster/story but those of you in disbelief, these 'things' do exist and manifest at river banks from time to time.
DeleteI don't believe e. Even nollywood has stopped making films like this. He ate his wives body yimu. I can go for my ex wedding no hard feelings since we broke up in peace and I am married too. In fact there are exes I want to go just to see who the maga was that married them!

ReplyDeleteDoppelganger dear, how are you? I miss you on the other side.
DeleteI don't even understand how people live again.
The kind of annointing I carry, you enter my wedding venue with jazz, it becomes useless as soon as you step within the gate of the venue.
I have learnt the secret..it is to "dwell in the secret place of the most high" and get the host of heaven to fight my battles.
Job was an upright and blameless man hence God built an edge around him that the devil had to seek permission from God before he could torment him.
That's all I aim for right now, I want to walk "upright and blameless" in God's presence so that when you come into my wedding venue with your jazzed gift, it becomes useless, I take it home, open it up and use it judiciously while you are there wondering when the jazz will pick up.
I don't have space to suspect people in my head.
Bipolar Me, I'm very well thank you and trust you're fine too.
Delete😘
You can never know all attendees at your wedding. Hence we need always to b prayerful
ReplyDeleteWhy was the innocent woman affected, she did no wrong by accepting his engagement.
Stories that touch
Heeeeiiiii
ReplyDelete'Then, she revealed that as the hubby was eating with the plate, he was eating his wife's body.
So, in conclusion, he ate his wife to death.... Jesus Christ !!!
OMG 😱 😱
I think it all depends on how the relationship played out and ended.
ReplyDeleteThere are ex lovers that have become good friends with no strings attached because they broke off on a mutual ground
There are some others that broke off on a bad slate.
If yours was on a bad note, hmnnn...your ex has no business near your wedding to another. That door should be permanently shut.
If it was on a clean slate, and being that you've dated this person and know how good his/her heart is, there is nothing bad inviting him/her to your occasion.
..just to add, if your marital spouse do not like the idea of your ex still in the picture as a mutual friend, then a reasonable distance from the ex should be imposed.
DeleteFriends from afar should be the game. Close range must be avoided and certain topics must never be discussed and visits/ hangouts should never be encouraged.
Infact, discipline of the highest order must come to play.
Breaking up in good or bad term, you cant read minds.some can be the best till their plan work!
DeleteBlog Lord, your second comment is the truth!
DeleteHian!
ReplyDeleteHian!
ReplyDeleteHian!!dis is serious.I dnt tink u shud invite ur ex to ur wedding,it's jus wrong
ReplyDeleteThis is super story a life of strife and sorrow. Next time add dodo to your beans. Goddess of what? LoL. So someone would go to a river to cry and someone would appear I won't disappear ehn.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I won't attend an exes wedding because a girl has no ex or exes.
I have a friend who attended her exes wedding and they even hugged. It depends on both parties level of maturity. At least in your story the guy was decent enough to tell her before she heard from another source.
If you had a bad breakup with someone I don't see why you should be inviting them to your wedding and besides no one is obligated to marry you. Some break ups are blessings in disguise, better take it with your chest and wait for God to give you your own partner who won't leave you for the next beautiful thing.
Doppel don't I just love you😘. Hello my Stella it's your one and only love😚😍
DeleteI am thankful I dated all my Ex's, they made me know there's a difference between stone and diamond.
DeleteI probably would have been hungering for stones if I had this my diamond before them.
My dear sister, say what you know. Water spirits are real o
DeleteI was told this story wen still a kid 😂
DeleteDon't mind the poster, she's trying to test her writing skills. This is a faabuu of the highest level, can't believe some people actually believe this tales by moonlight
Delete*Larry was here*
Most men are never been careful that's just the truth,if not why would you even think of inviting an ex to your wedding,he called it upon himself,I for one will never think of attending my Ex wedding but only on the condition if I happened to be already married by then, maybe I can consider attending.
ReplyDeleteThen that of inviting an Ex to one's wedding it differs, depending on how you both parted ways and I have seen Ex's that are best of friends, their both partners knows and they've all become family friend.the long and short of this all anyway not all Ex's are good and not all Ex's are bad as well.
Na wa o. This sounds like Nollywood.
ReplyDeleteperadventure it happened,i will not attend the wedding ceremony of my EX. NEVER!
He is an EX and should remain that way.hian!
Women sha.So why punish the innocent wife?
ReplyDeleteWhen they say never underestimate a broken man/woman, no be just talk!my elder sisters husband messed up a girls heart and that girl went spiritual on him,tho it was targeted to him, while on 7days midnight prayer in church prophetess in church told us to bring him, he came,Alot was revealed went through serious deliverance. That was how he became free. As for the girl karma slapped her really hard.
DeletePoster I don't believe that stream and plate part. But let me pretend as if I believe you.
ReplyDeleteThe man in question is stupid for inviting his ex.
Some people make that mistake.
Also why is he even proposing to two people at the same time?
Ladies this shows you guys that he is not yours until he wife you.
Some guys might go as far as engaging a lady just ka Ola ya OTU.
True
DeletePlease what is the title of this Nollywood movie?
ReplyDeleteWell, this is not a "movie" like you insinuate. What you don't understand, don't comment.
DeleteTo the poster, what came out to "help" this girl is a devil and he does not allow his captives go free.
The girl is in bondage already and needs help; the kind that only Christ can give; for if the son sets her free, she is free indeed.
People should be very watchful and careful about the person they marry.
DeleteThat is the need for a courtship before any marriage.
That dead girl ought not to have married a man who will engage two ladies simultaneously.
The one that killed will end same way for she contacted Satan for solution.
The sorrows of they that seek other gods will multiply.
😂😂😂😂😂
DeleteAre you for real poster?? What?? runs out#
ReplyDeleteIhe onyeacho kofu...meaning: what you're looking for is surely what you'll find. why would you as man dump one lady for another one then go rubbing it on her face via an Iv..like seriously?!!! Hell hath no furry like a woman scorned...scorn her and wait for her furry!!!
ReplyDeleteBrenda C.
He probably gbenshed her before telling her, which multiplied her fury. And hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.
DeleteStory for the gods
ReplyDeleteI pity men that breaks ladies hearts because they dont know that God answers women's cry fast. This lady went too far.
ReplyDeleteThat is why when you do wedding, whether man or woman and you are given gifts, look for a man of God or your pastor to pray before you opened the gifts. We are hearing stories and it is still happening.
Dont open gifts after you are wedded. Gifts must be opened after prayers.
anyway it is bad to invite your Ex to your wedding except you guys parted amicably and have become friends
Oghene bikor!😮😮😮😮😮
ReplyDeleteHahahaha when the Mamalawo calls on God, you know say sand don pass Carri 😂😂😂
DeleteYes ooo Osanobwa lahor...
DeleteUnbelievable.
ReplyDeleteFabu
Script writers and script interpreters oya...
DeleteHmmm hrt brk no be small matter ohhh
ReplyDeleteAbsolute nonsense. I don't believe this. Sounds like tales by moonlight.
ReplyDeleteItaye....Iye!!!
DeleteStory story...stoorrrry!!
Once upon a time, time time!!!
😂😂😂😏
Real tales by moonlight.
For real though. What manner of fool goes to break an engagement with a girl and at the same time presents her with an IV to his wedding?
Fiction
ReplyDeleteOh baby!! Where have you been? Missed seeing your name out here o
DeleteAHDONTBLIVTHIS!!! This world na wah ooooo
ReplyDeleteAHDONTBLIVTHIS!!! This world na wah ooooo
ReplyDeleteWhether someone goes crazy or not, I don't care. All I know is that no ex of my Bea will be invited to my wedding as me no get ex. I see it as a distraction inviting an ex to your wedding and wouldn't want anything to demoralise me during my special day.
ReplyDeleteIs it not the man that should have been punished? Why the innocent girl? Satan will always be satan honestly.
ReplyDeleteI can't invite my ex.During my time I only told him after the wedding.
ReplyDeleteNa ex e be,I owe ex nothing.
just one question why didn't the scorned EX. take revenge on the man why the poor woman who is oblivious of he husbands past. it should be the man ate himself to death. that of course is if there is any truth in this story.bottom line lets shield our homes with Jesus as the bed rock, et al.
ReplyDeleteThat is revenge served cold. Sometimes it hurts more when a person close to the revengee is affected. So the mammy goddess na bad ass.
DeleteNow this is scary.
ReplyDeleteNa real wah the man suppose die not the woman jooor ,now that she is dead what is her gain ?
ReplyDeleteGo and ask Satan what he gains by being evil. 😈👹
DeleteThat's why I don't like clingy pple. If someone dumps u, move da hell on, he or she wasn't the reason u were born.
ReplyDeleteIf I break up with someone, n dey foolishly invite me to their wedding, I won't attend.
It is not just about being clingy. To some it is the amount of time, energy, effort, revenue, care, emotions etc that have been poured in the relationship without it being acknowledged and thrown away with ease. It takes a person wey get church mind to release the dumper. Or else the dumpee go teach the dumper a lesson, it is what it is.
DeleteOkokobioko!!!! Say what!!!! I dey come back.
ReplyDeleteDumb chronicle
ReplyDeleteStory storryoo
ReplyDeleteSuper story, too much fiction only on one chronicle. The guy is so dumb to have invited his ex to his wedding and even in this case the girl wasn't an ex but his first fiancee that caused the grievance from her but she went too far.
ReplyDeleteI am friends with my ex and he is married. No biggy.
DeleteEleyi gidigan
ReplyDeleteInnocent woman just die like that. Na waoooo
It is well o....what won't I read here.... God have mercy!
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing wrong in inviting your ex to your marriage. it all depends on "how" you guys broke up. This guy did not break-up with the ex before engaging the new girl.
ReplyDeleteExactly. There is a difference with dating several ladies and engaging several ladies. Before engaging another, break up with the one currently engaged with if she or he exists. Simple etiquette, people should learn to have integrity. Even if this story isn't real, it gives good lessons. In real life a lot of people have been affected by their scorned exes.
DeleteFirst off, I don't believe this sh**t! In short, I have nothing to say.
ReplyDeleteSome men are simply stupid! The same happened to me,one ex like that they decided to mock me by inviting me to his wedding that since I ejected him many girls were ready to accept him. He went on to tell me that his wife's people are very rich and promised him plenty of money. Any way,I gave him piece of my mind by insulting a living light of him. Today, m happily married to the best man on earth.
ReplyDeleteCHINEKE
ReplyDeletePoster!I don't believe in juju,so this sounds like tales by moon light to me!
ReplyDeleteI have dated and engaged some persons before I got married to my wife.Even invited one of the exs to my weeding!even ate the cake she baked for us nothing happened!
What you believe works for you!
To think that one of the girls vowed that I will never give birth!
No be me dey even donate give people today?
If your hand is clean nothing mega!Abeg invite your ex to your weeding jaree if you wish.
Hahahahahhahaha!!!Sexy daddy ooo,u no go kee person...abeg I no wan laugh, sun too much...
DeleteAnd u posted this? Abegi
ReplyDeleteAnyway it depends on the nature of our breakup.. But I will never invite any..
ReplyDeleteThis was my case dis year i tot i was in a relationship wit a guy, we even saw last november 2016 and febraury he sent his wedding IV to me as text message (it was a bulk sms) so i asked him wat dat meant and he said he met jesus dat same november and met d girl and engaged her dat same month.. My question to him was if he found Jesus like he claimed wont he have still introduced me to him? Did he even hav to block me on favebook? So i rest and my only prayer was if i ever did him wrong let his marriage prosper and let Jesus be the judge...
ReplyDeleteI can only go to an ex marriage if we're still friends...
I know how you feel. Just forgive, don't worry, God will give you someone waaaaaay better. Na painful something sha.
DeleteThis one nah nollywood movie.hahhahhahahahahahaha. I laugh in sawahili.in a nutshell,it is inappropriate to invite your ex to your wedding.
ReplyDeleteWow. So scary
ReplyDeleteThis is one of the reasons I advocate a quiet marriage & a quiet life.
So many evil going on that I sometimes wish the world should just end already.
what a story..men and their ways can they change?anyways have always have the mindset that the contract the contract wey we sign once it over that's it but I think my mindset started changing when a lady write on ihn I think last week that her ex surprised her with 1M yes I like money#shinesteeth.but I can't go to an ex wedding o and I can't invite an ex either.
ReplyDeleteHmmmm
ReplyDeleteFor reals? Lemme sit and read the comments biko.
Depends on your relationship with your ex.
ReplyDeleteWho invites someone he/she was engaged to to his/her wedding? That is wickedness unless the engagement was called of in mutual agreement.
Please, if anyone choose to accept gifts on their wedding day, let it not be for personal use. Don't even take it into your home.
I don't see why anyone wouldn't accept or use gifts they are given at their wedding. We are too superstitious mehn, all I'd say is that pray over it and use the ones you can use and give out others because not every gift is useful, they could also give you something you already have.
DeleteUnless you explicitly state that you don't want gifts or cash, then I don't see why you'd not use when you accept them.
First of all what manner of story is this? Anyway if I am totally over the guy I will attend his wedding looking like a million dollars, have the fun of my life and leave. No gifts for them by the way. Stay away if you are still hurting. Why go diabolical for any reason? Chances are that your own life won't remain the same. Let's say I believe this story what became of her the diabolical ex? So they left her after she confessed? Rme. If a guy leaves you for another woman why should she bear the brunt of your anger?
ReplyDeleteI picked the ring for my ex boyfriend to propose to his girlfriend, he will be proposing to her this Saturday.
ReplyDeleteTheir introduction is in October and the wedding is next year.
I know all about the plans, from the clothes they are wearing to the house they are moving into. (And also all the other girls he is having sex with including their pictures, I don talk tire, e no dey hear word)
I don't even feel a twinge of jealousy..why?
1.) Me and that guy should never have dated. We were close friends and decided to go a step further but it was a big sham so we went back to being friends.
2.) My current man is waaaaaaaaaay better than him in EVERYTHING.
3.) I genuinely care for him and I am happy for him, maybe he will stop cheating now that he's getting married.
4.) I don't wanna get married till 2020. My life has a plan and 2020 is when marriage is on the plan...
Is that how dey do it now?
DeleteThey set date for introduction and wedding before they even buy ring and propose????
Issokay.
Anon idi sharp!
DeleteAunty u can lie oh.
DeleteFix a date for d marriage without d girl's family's consent?
I'm not surprised at ur lies.U are Bipolar indeed!
Some men cause problems for themselves. I just recently heard of one that dated a babe for 5yrs and married someone else cos the gf was not a virgin. And he was bold enough to tell her that he wasn't marrying her because she wasnt a virgin. After wasting 5yrs of her life. Off course it didn't end well.
ReplyDeleteMen be careful
And he had to tell her?
DeleteNawa
Imagine!
DeleteYou see how he is digging his own early grave?

DeleteLook up. Sexy daddy and co are ahead of you already. 😂😂😂
Delete😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
DeleteNo answer. I won't indulge myself in this complicated lifestyle.
ReplyDeleteJust speechless reading this post.
ReplyDeleteHmmmm!!!
I don't believe and understand this chronicle. But if this is true, the girl in picture offended here is not a EX nau, why the kind of revenge.
ReplyDeleteThis is so wrong! Well first one should first tidy himself/herself before settling down to marry. And it doesn't make sense inviting someone you have given hope to come for your marriage, even a child of God will sin to get back at you. As for me, I can't invite my ex to my wedding.
ReplyDeleteIf we parted peacefully I wont I invite nor attend such wedding. Except things went wrong by a way of cheating or playing games I wont invite mor attend
ReplyDeleteWhat is this one saying?
Delete
ReplyDeleteThe guy is a heartless beast. Just this past weekend my friend visited and we got gisting and she told me of a guy who she was dating in Abuja, she thought they were serious even had keys to the guys apartment only for the guy to dump his wedding invitation on her laps after fucking her senseless. Dude even had the guts to insist that she attends the wedding. Guys need to be careful who they hurt o.
I have said my own.
This guy deserves whatever he gets.
DeleteIt all depends on how you guys left the relationship....two of my exes came for my wedding one even came with his mum and I also attended their wedding no harm intended
ReplyDelete#Godsdeliveryroom
The guy is stupid for inviting the girl. How could he do such a thing? You engage a girl and then you go and engage another and marry her without breaking up with the other?oya dia nma,in his next life he won't try such
ReplyDeleteSounds like tales by moonlight " she cried till the river goddess came out"
ReplyDeleteHerh!! !!!! Who posted this? You really cracked me up. Whoever You are, please see a psychiatrist. You are hallucinating. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Stella, some of your bv's though.
ReplyDeleteI am one person that likes to respect herself, what am i looking for in an ex wedding?to eat golden rice or what? And why on earth will I invite an ex to my wedding? To pepper dem gang abi? Mutcheeeeew I know someone that has attended atlease three of her exses wedding,I keep thinking in my head what is wrong with this woman? People should bettervlearn how to respect themselves. Besides that ikwere girl is evil

ReplyDeleteAway from the question the poster raised, a more pertinent questions arises.
ReplyDeleteIs there really any need to invite the whole world to your wedding?
People need to embrace the attitude of low-key ceremonies and prevent these unnecessary misfortunes they attract to themselves as a result of flamboyant display of whatever they think they have. Not every darn person that honours your invitation is there to wish you well.
In response to the questions the poster raised, my answer is simple:
Me, wedding, ex, NEVER!!!!
Hian, of cause so many evils, this is scary ohh, anywayzz I can attend my ex wedding depending on the way we both parted
ReplyDeleteOsalobua mwennnnnnnnn..... Things are happening...
ReplyDeleteHerh!! ! This poster So you just sat down, imagine things and sent us as chronicle?? You think it's super story we want abi?......continue you hear.
ReplyDeleteThings are happening, I received two yards of black cloth, during my wedding,my sister in-law took the cloth to a man of God, he revealed that once I sew the cloth and wear,my hubby will die, and i will start wearing a black cloth to mourn him,I can't even imagine my self sewing the cloth to wear.
ReplyDeleteSpeechless....
ReplyDeleteAn ex is an ex and should remain an ex, there's absolutely no point inviting your ex to your wedding. .. I won't invite an ex neither would I honor such invitation.
*Faithful bv*
My elder sister's ex invited her to his wedding after his father refused him marrying my sister. They were so much in love and their love had lasted for 6years. Anyway, my sister went for the wedding after we asked her not to. People who knew them crowded her and offered their apologies on his wedding day ooo. After the honeymoon, the wife came to our house and beat my sister blue and black for crashing her wedding and for her husband moaning my sister's on her honeymoon. This very act broke their marriage after one month. Then, my sister refused to marry him after their divorce.
ReplyDeleteWhat!
DeleteChoi! Na dis be the real super story.
DeleteThis is Super Story!
ReplyDeletePS; I believe marine powers exist but aunty Hain where they take manufacture the plate?
Oshomole o!
Stranger things have happened.
DeleteThis sounds like super story. So, d lady knew mammy water will come out if she cry for river side? Issorite.
ReplyDeleteIt may sound like super story but This story is similar to my elder Sister's best friend and it also happened in ph. The only difference is that after the wedding my Sister's friend started pee on her body, then a 3 hundred level student in Uniport, she pee several times in lecture room and in her car. She later died in her parents house after giving birth to a baby boy. Rip Buchi.
ReplyDeleteMy God!!!!!! This world can be sooo cruel.
ReplyDeleteSo he went to invite the first fiancee so as to spite her or what?
I feel so bad for the deceased lady. Gosh!
