BLACK CHICKEN

Ayam Cemani is an uncommon and relatively modern breed of chicken from Indonesia.

They have a dominant gene that causes hyperpigmentation, making the chicken entirely black; including feathers, beak, and internal organs (Wikipedia).

They even lay black eggs!

Can you eat this?

  17. Deal breaker! if I lay my hands on this bird na to rear and sell the eggs as exotic, pitch the price so high for money miss road people to feel that they are buying eggs of exceptional quality. As long as the inside is white, otherwise na to sell for herbal section of market for election things.......yahoo, knacking pigeon association. Y'all know what I mean. On a serious note its this type of egg one could use to strengthen hair if the inside is black. There would always be an alternate use besides eating.

  22. Our psyche has been erroneously twisted on the perception of black...

Our slavemasters imbibed in us, that black depicts evil while white is pure & good...

Ironically, the same way we view these black chickens, is proportional to the way white people view black people around the world with distaste...

Black is not what they say it is...
    Black is beautiful...
