DeleteYesterday, I realized how much I disliked lousy people. I was on a short trip and this lady was on her phone throughout the ride till I alighted and boy was I relieved. I felt so sorry for others who would have to endure the torture of her lousiness. So let me break it down, first rule of public engagement if you can help it please and please reduce the volume of your ringtone or use a more subtle sound instead of that Olamide sa no wo le song and I love Olamide but it's a ringtone we want not sound that can send shocks through someone in deep thoughts. Back to my lady, she kept going on and on about how "Buhari is a fucking idiot and ASUU strike is the best option". She was on a call with "aunty Yemi and told her she doesn't have money to buy weavon or wigs reason she weaves her hair for 300naira and aunty Yemi should try it". Wait, let me take y'all back to the beginning. So when we started the trip, she was instructing a man to flush the toilet to see if it would flush. She was receiving the call with one phone and had another in hand. Do you know why this is problematic? Yesterday I knew her name, where she works (she is a corper) and how she claimed to be from Lagos state to get the 50k that Lagos corpers are paid and that she studied law. Remember those days when people receive calls from 419ers who know almost everything about them? Well this is how most of these people get your information. Why do you have to talk so loud sis? I always imagine lousy people are also the one's who chew with mouth open, use your lips and close your damn mouth. I truly, cannot stand people who talk too loudly. I always get asked if I'm sleeping whenever I'm on a call because of how low I talk. Talking is a chore to me, the only calls I take grudgingly are work calls and my phone is permanently on silent. I've gotten used to it in almost 3years, I'm not a doctor expecting emergency calls or a Parent yet because I know how necessary it is to expect calls from home concerning your child from your spouse or family but please you can talk and be heard on the other end without the next person hearing one single word of what you're saying. Respect people's space, unless they are deliberately trying to eaves drop reduce the volume of your voice biko.

A summary of my new neighbours;
ReplyDeleteThe first one; A married man, hubby's childhood friend that lives alone but his family comes to visit during holidays, his wife is a pretty very slim woman even with kids. Her husband cheats on her like mad, brings ugly girls to the same house when his wife is not around. Very disgusting behaviour I tell you, like how do you disrespect your wife so much? You can't even take dem bitches to a hotel? I feel so sorry for the nice woman. The main side chic even brings her friends to the house whenever the man travels. Seems she has her own key.
You should see this guy when his family is around, very doting, he cooks and all. The way the wife brags about her hubby makes me want to throw up in my mouth, especially the part where she swears he's a saint. Since my dh has warned me to mind my business and never tell her, I just curl my toes and cry when she starts bragging. She will always blame the tears on pregnancy hormones and will always give me this really nice massage that makes me even cry the more.
The second one; A matured single lady that should be in her mid to late thirties with a married sugar daddy that beats the shit out of her, the first time I heard the beating was around midnight, at first I thought it was robbers till I heard her insulting the man, the beating was so bad I cried for her. Funny enough non of the neighbors tried to rescue her, dh said it's a normal occurrence she has warned everybody to mind their business and she's so rude. When I tried to talk to her, she told me I should focus on my big belle and leave her alone. Some weeks after that he started beating her again, thank goodness hubby was out of town so I had the chance to go outside and bang on her door, I was screaming, shouting and crying calling on neighbors to come and save the woman's life. The man was so embarrassed he drove off immediately. This happened on a Friday on Sunday he still came to carry her to church. I saw them and bursted cry again. She has been avoiding me since then.
The third one; the way this man maltreats his house help is just sad. He beats her with everything, broom, pot, belt, shoe. And he insults her family so bad while at it. If you see the different marks on her body, I don't know why but he's always accusing the security man of sleeping with her. Vey dramatic man but he worships his wife.
This is all new to me I've not always being a very emotional Person. This pregnancy is just bringing out all sorts in me. Hubby stopped me from working through out my pregnancy (said I cannot be stressing myself and his twin babies unnecessarily) so I notice everything happening in the compound. Some days it's fun, other days I just want to go back to my father's house.
Excuse my rant, It's a new town, new life, new feelings, new experience, new culture for me so there's only much I can do

I have been trying to get pregnant for 4 years. God answered me and my baby is due soon by God's grace. Prior to my pregnancy, I lost weight, changed my diet, I loaded on greens, I ate fruits etc.
Some ttc women don't even know how to monitor their ovulation.
Sharon, don't be depressed. God has something in stock for you and others ttc, amen.

My husband and I planned our pregnancy for later in the year,to my greatest surprise it came much more earlier than expected. For eight weeks, I was going about my normal duties until after it was time for period it come,we now had to go see doctor. The doctor was like madam you wan born before you come hospital?
But that's not the main point of my testimony. Your testimony will be that he gave it to you effortlessly and stress free.. I use maself as a point of contact to you. You have overcome by the blood of the lamb and the words of your testimony.

Aside that, I am 40 years. I have never aborted or being pregnant but I have not lost hope. Yes sometimes I get depressed which is normal but I don't let it take hold of me. You are married but I lost my marriage due to lack of support, my husband thought i need to create the child by myself. Sometimes I feel even my own family don't care as they don't even talk about my situation and when I bring it down they wave it aside but that does not stop me from creating my own happiness while waiting on God. At the moment even if I want to try, I don't have amy man in my life. Who wants to date a forty year old tankless of marrying her. Sharon, please come out of depression. You are young, there is hope. Let my experience give you hope. God will meet you at the right time.

Look for happiness, make yourself happy always, baby do not stay where there is no love and happiness. If you want to take in sharp sharpake yourself happy always, your turn is coming stop being unhappy, you are not the one that gives children so relax and be happy. Stop complaining but rather keep on praising God for your fruitfulness. My doctor told me that a baby can not stay in a womb or body that is not relax, calm, peaceful, happy, joyful, there is no how the sperm will survive. Dance then I have decided to make myself happy no matter my situation, I have relaxed my mind and face my work. Just finished my exams I don't want to worry over anything.
Take your mind off it and you shall see wonders, the Lord is your strength, my sister tcc for 14 years but God finally remembered her, I know He will soon remember you, our testimony is loading. Wishing you all the very best
I'm numb, depressed and sad. My 4 year old son is hiv+ his dad and I are negative. My friend stayed with us a while back just discovered she infected my son. My crime was getting married. She has a good job I'm unemployed I don't know why she did this. I can't even tell my husband. My son has been sick from one sickness to the other after several visit to the hospital the test was carried out yesterday. Oh dear Jesus. My friend is the only visitor that visits us so I know she's the one. Oh. Life what have I done

Oh! The property managers introduced Taco Tuesday at work (them dey try sha) This was an initiative to enable the companies within interract with one another, maybe build business relationships. Tacos, burritos, sharwarma, ensalada and quesadila (i just learnt those last 2 yesterday 😂). Well I didn't go the first two weeks, cos i couldn't be bothered, but I went yesterday cos chike didn't send me lunch 😋😋 I had delicious taco sandwich and made a few new friends. While that oyibo geh was busy giving her sunburnt self side eye 😂😂😂😂😂
