ReplyDeleteI'm still in shock about this bad news. There's this particular woman selling soda and liquid soap, she do brings it to my sister-in-law's shop. We both saw the woman last week Sunday 23rd of July when we're going out and she too going to Church, that was when my sister-in-law introduced her to me as the person making the liquid soap we use.
On getting home yesterday, my sister-in-law told me the woman is dead that her husband beat her till she started bleeding and the man left her in the pool of blood. It was their neighbors that took the woman to the hospital on Friday 28 July and she died on Saturday 29 July due to serious internal bleeding.
I heard the man is nowhere to be found and the woman's family came to pick the children, like 4 children or so.
When will woman learn to leave an abusive marriage? I really felt for the woman, may her gentle soul find peace with her maker.

DeleteMorning fam. Been battling with insomnia for some days now, I just tire. Yesterday wasn't a funny day at all for me. My kids came in some days back and I decided to take them to a relatives birthday party. So we went there and there was food everywhere. I served them spag and decided to have a taste of the peppersoup and bread. Being that, that one no dey belleful, I decided to have some spag too. After some minutes my kids came to tell me they wanted ice cream. So I scooped some for them, and also scooped for myself and then I turn around to walk away, but I noticed they were quite and weren't following me behind. I turned around only to see my girls looking at me (that odunlade adekola's look). Next thing mariam says is: mumy see your plate, then I asked what happened to my plate and she goes, "the food is too much now". Then Mirabel goes "mummy you're eating too much oooo. You've taken spag, soup, and now ice cream, is too much oo. Next thing they start laughing at me saying "ha, mummy you look like a vewy big house" and then they ran off to swing. And they were saying all this trash with a very loud voice. As in eh, the embarrassment I felt was epic. And people were just watching the whole show in smiles, chai I'm still trying to recover. Oh God pls be my help and make me offload and get my body back. Been avoiding eating in their presence since then. Mschewww. Nice day y'all. End of my rant.

A colleague at work through who I got to know and love your blog, applied for one of the give aways and was picked over 3wks ago. And the lady has just been turning her left, right and centre to no avail.
My colleague told me yesterday that she had stopped calling the giveaway poster for the 1week. Sadly, we had wanted to give the said items to another ex-colleague who is in need of those items.
People should learn to be sensitive and not mess with others ..........
