According to reports, the student of IMO State University fainted after getting lashed with a belt by a lecturer in the exam hall. 


What right does a Lecturer have to flog a Student?NONE!!!

      @lolo ideato, can you comfortably pay their fees for a session without coming here to beg for food n money? Do u know that state universities and federal universities are more recognized than those ur so called 'expensive' mushroom universities that dash out results to olodos that dnt deserve it? Those mushroom 'expensive' universities are responsible for all the nuisance in the political seats today in Nigeria. Go and check properly, the products from federal n state universities are the sound and intelligent people.

    Even if it were a primary or secondary school student, corporal punishment should be restrained ( note I didn't say abolished, but controlled). Teachers shouldn't be allowed to go about whipping students under their care willy nilly!
