Nigeria Police Declares Senator Misau Wanted,

The Nigeria Police has asked a serving Senator to return to service on the grounds that he did not legitimately resign from the Force.

Misau is currently representing Bauchi Central Senatorial District in the National Assembly.

Addressing National Assembly Correspondents on Friday, Senator Misau, who is a retired Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), said that a high level of corruption had been noticed in the handling of monies allegedly being collected by the police as payment for special security services rendered by the Police to corporate bodies, oil firms and highly placed citizens in the country.

The lawmaker also accused the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, of extorting money from Commissioners of Police, State Mobile Commanders and SPU Commanders.

According to Moshood, Senator Misau is “a habitual and unrepentant liar.”
“His real name in the Police is DSP Mohammed Isa Hamman, with Police number AP No. 57300. He is still a Police Officer and not a Senator because his name is still in the Police Service.

“Senate will do the nation good by asking him to return to the Nigeria Police Force to face disciplinary committee and answer all the charges bordering on serious misconduct, unprofessional wrong doings as earlier contained in our press statement released today.

We want the public to know that he is not fit and proper to be a Senator of the federal republic of Nigeria; because that purported retirement letter he displayed today was forged.

  1. The Guy is exposing through corruption in the police force hence the IG had to come up with cock&bull sorry to defend his corrupt police force.

How will someone not resign from the police force and then go on to become a senator, as if his opponent wouldn't have discovered it and used it against him.

IG of police should stop with the lies already 😀😀😀

    2. Is it impossible to the same corruption in the Nigeria Police not be the reason the Senator is able to not resign properly and yet be a Senator?

That he is exposing corruption does not grant him immunity from criminal or corrupt activities. Both are not mutually exclusive.

    3. Hahaha. I just watched both the senator and the PRO of police slugging it out on Politics of Today on channels
It was hilarious. The Nigerian police are confused.

  5. This is funny, so the IGP wants to act like a saint when we the officers knows how he has been collecting 5 million naira and above for special promotion and postings. Is not like the senator is the first to accuse the IG just that officers are afraid to speak up.

  9. Why didn't the police declare him AWOL when and if he actually did. They had to wait till he exposed them before labelling accusation on him.
