  9. Well the guy is also from a rich family. Richer than Donald Duke. His granddad is deinde fernandez, who is a multi billionaire. He died in 2015. I do remember this one. Anyway, Google is your friend. When I saw the announcement and I heard people saying money marry money. I wondered who they both are. Didn't know he was even related to Fernandez. Now I know who she is as well. There are people who don't show off their family background and wealth. Some of these low-key popular entertainers come from very wealthy background. Even the Mr Eazi you are all moaning about is stated to be from a wealthy background. His parents are said to own helicopter rental company. And they did send him to private university in Ghana and for masters in the UK. If they are poor, will they be able to do that. This is why you don't see these guys hustle aggressively like a lot of their (poor background) colleagues. They are more strategic and they work smart. Things they would have picked up from their parents and families. Wishing them all the best in their union. God's guidance and blessings.

    4. King xoxo. The engagement made news because the couple are from wealthy families. Xerona, who is the daughter of Donald Duke, is the easiest to recognise. If it isn't for her father would you be seeing this post right now? Or what else is she known for? Can't you be rational and reasonable. What has this got to do with me. Did you see me talking about my grandfather or parents. If I tell you who I am now and what I have achieved, it is you and your likes that will start talking rubbish about humility. I was simply replying people calling the DJ and Mr Eazi a gold digger. Please try and read the whole comment before responding. Bye.

      ...............
Oh please, engagement these days are newsworthy whether you are from a rich home or not. Did I even ask you all these? TMI.

Actually I would prefer to hear all you have achieved whether fictional or not. You guys are always quick to give your CV on this blog than actually posting it on a recruitment website that really needs it.

Some of those colleagues hustling aggressively will be the next billionaire while people like you would forever be singing how your great-grandfather is Bill Gates to pre-schoolers.

    8. Anon abeg don't mind ignorant ppl.

Someone gave a history in her comment to explain better. What's the biggie

    9. Hahahhahaha. I laugh in Chinese. A lot of ignorant people in Nigeria. Anon 12:57. His mother is Fernandez daughter. Do u think she would have waited till he died before she inherit from his wealth. The education she got alone and the caliber of people she moves around because of his name is enough to keep the cash flowing. Or how do you think she became commissioner in Lagos. SMH. A lot of educated illiterates.

As for you king xoxo, I am not related to them. Neither am I claiming my grandpa's money. Most sensible rich people train their kids by giving them opportunities (solid education and exposure) which they build on. And no I don't leave my CV on LinkedIn and its likes. I prefer my privacy. And I am not out looking for a job. So why the fxv# should I put my CV on online. Very ignorant person. Moreover if I need to find a job, I can apply directly to the company online. I am not from your world. I didn't grow up with class system insecurities like yourself. Your insecurities us showing. If you want a job with the like of Ernst Young and etc. You can apply directly via their website. You don't need to out your CV online. Or you wait till they visit your universities. This is what I grew up on and what I am used to.

What you loads should be complaining about is how the Nigerian elites are linking up their kids from generation to generation and looting the citizens dry. You are here calling them gold diggers and not getting their background. You can't open your eyes and see they are the elites. As for Fernandez. His wife didn't take all his wealth. And it was one of his youngest daughter that was fighting his last wife left burial arrangements. It is online. I only remember this from the twitter drama. The fact that you think it is when all billionaires die their kids inherit is hilarious. A lot of the smart ones have been getting their share and investing it before their father or mother dies.

      Open your eyes.

And. no. Not all engagement makes news. Only the famous, rich and bizarre make news. The rich and famous make news so easily. And the others you are talking about go extra miles and do extra things to make news.

When you are an educated illiterate why won't you wrote nonsense king xoxo. So Stella here is stalking commoners to announce their engagement. She saw that the girl is an ex governors daughter. And that's is newsworthy. Or did she state anything else the girl does for a living or achievement that enable her to easily be newsworthy. She is living off her father's glory. Just like her fiance is living off his grandfather and mother. Which is a norm for una for Naija. If you are upset with this...don't bring your frustration to me. Go and poster your elites and politicians.

      Delete
    10. Your insecurities *is* showing.

And it was one of his youngest daughter that was fighting his last wife *over* burial arrangements.

Go and *protest* your elites and politicians.

      Cheers, Beds and roses. Xo

I forgive you, King xoxo. You must have woken up on the wrong side of the bed today. Remember you always write on here that people shouldn't judge you because of your past (which I don't know about before you accuse me of being a regular BV who went anon 😂). You remind them of how God has forgiven you and you have tow a new path. You came here today and judged me without even knowing what my intention is with that comment. Trying to force me to reveal my identity to prove a point to you. I am glad I have achieved a lot for myself at such a young age with every opportunity God and my family has given me. And no I am not part of the elites. I didn't grow up in your world where most of you are always upset about anything money or wealth discussions. Where I grew up, we talk to understand and observe for future use or references. So I am secured enough to not feel the need to prove any point to you. I hope next time you read and understand first before responding.

And anon 12:57. I knew about the scandal you mentioned. This is why and how I even know who Fernandez is as of 2015. dele momodu was famzing him and the daughter who was fighting the last wife. I chose not to write it in my first comment because I wasn't about the tea life. I was about the facts life.

I'm sorry that I called you both educated illiterates and ignorant. I shouldn't have stoop to the level you came at me.

      Have a good day, everyone.

Cheers Stella for letting the diaspora keep up with the happening in on the other side. With all I have observed and read on your blog, I hail peace loving Nigerians who lives in Nigeria. I also hail all those who are intellects. I don't know how they live amidst so many aggressive and angry people. And amidst people who are not into fact stating and knowledge enlightenment, seeking and expansion. This is why there is so much brain drain in their country. Not everything is gossip or bragging right or a fight. Sometimes this is just pure political science without big words, terminologies and gibberish. Sigh. Anyway, bye.

      Your random reader,
      Fig.

    11. I don't know how you were able to string the words educated and illiterate together with that poor tenses up there.

Mama, you need to go brush up your English before you sit and tell us about the mighty schools you attended. No one really cares at the end of the day. What is quality education when you can't really express yourself in simple English language? What is so hard about getting your tenses correct?

In these days and age, where the woman selling vegetables in the market hustles hard to give the children sound education and they come back more polished, these 'has been ' is still talking about quality education and still typing 'wrote ' instead of 'write'. The word quality has been abused by substandard products like you.

People like you are so quick to drop the names of the school you attended or who your parents are but when asked about yourself, you have absolutely nothing to show for it. You live by dropping names of who and who.

Only a dumb person like you who grew up dumber will make LinkedIn out to be the website for the poor whereas a lot of CEOs and Billionaires are on it. If you got your job while in University and I got mine through LinkedIn, does it really matter? The point is I have a job that even your so-called quality education can't give you.

Next time, I ask you about yourself. Go straight to the point. Don't rigmarole. Who the fuck is Ernest Young? I don't over saturate my brain with people who don't matter to my career.

      Now Madam, who are you?

Oh by the way, this isn't the first engagement Sdk is announcing on her blog. Also, there are loads of websites and instagram blogs celebrating engagement all day, they are not choosy when it comes to who to celebrate.

    12. I am glad you corrected yourself. Isnt it such an irony that you bragged about quality education on one hand while making so many mistakes? No one ever taught you how to proof read before posting. You better come back here and correct that ignorant past tense you used up there, who are you leaving that one for?

And then you managed to tell us you live outside Nigeria . ..too much information again. What's wrong with you?

I was able to drop my bit without divulging where l live, work or which school I studied in?

This is what self confidence is all about. You can't buy it.

You need to study sarcasm and innuendos. Whenever I type, you should read in between the lines. When I typed 'don't judge the past ' it has nothing to do with me.

Beds and Roses.. .i am so sure you are not referring to me in that sentence. You should really choose your battles wisely because when it gets down, you would be the first person being all sentimental and screaming tribalism, better guide yourself.

    13. King xoxo. You are sure you are alright today? I replied you because I was ticked off with your aggressive manners. Do you proofread when you are ticked off. Plus I wrote via a phone screen with the comment box making it not so easy to see errors. But sorry oh. English lecturer. See how she wrote. If you are truly learned. You won't structure your paragraphs and sentences like that. Even I, I am not structuring my paragraphs has it should be done in the English syntax. But we are not in a class or writing for a publication. And I have no need to prove my "so called quality education" to you by writing in such style to prove it.

Yes. In writing, the most important thing is getting the message across clearly, it isn't about how professional your writing is in this context. It is just a blog. I only need to write to be understood and make reading effortless. So you don't see me looking for minor things such as your essay structure to attack you for. And I didn't correct myself. I could have left it as it is but because I wrote in a hurry, I know some of the messages I was getting across will be lost in translation if I left it like that, I chose to rewrite what I meant correctly.

And no you still don't have an idea what sort of education I had. Public school education is good quality same as private school education. And they are all available to everyone. I only talked about my ideologies and mentality and you got quite angry over that. I only mentioned just one small detail which still leaves me anonymous; I am still just one out of the millions of Nigerians outside Nigeria. Can you pick a needle out of a haystack. There you go. I mentioned the details harmlessly because you seem to have boxed me as your average Nigerian who is crazy, like yourself, about money and people. You need to calm down.

I repeat. There are millions of Nigerians living in diaspora. Either rich, middle class and low income earners who have access to exact same things I stated up there. From all I wrote you still can't tell what my background is. Every child here have access to all opportunities. That's why I said I thank God and my family. My family because they are my emotional and moral support. God, because he opens doors for everyone including me. You have insecurities. Work on yourself.

P.S., I didn't bother reading all your nonsense. You are mentally poor. Only a mentally poor and insecure person attack others over minor things. I repeat again. this isn't a thesis or essay for an important exam or publication. Attacking me over my so called English is hilarious. This is a blog. I can write in shorthand, in non structured lingo so long as it is understandable. That's why we have texting language. You can google that. Stop looking for a fight. Go and take your frustration out on whatever is affecting you.

Ernst & Young is a company. It employs people from every background; poor, rich, middle. Yet once again you assumed I was name dropping. Insecure girl. Goodness! Sorry oh. Maybe I should have said "if I was applying with Google" so you will understand. Or I should have mentioned names of Nigerian companies. SMH. Since I don't know how people apply for jobs in Nigeria, I stated what I know and I am used to and why I have no need to be posting my CVs online because you brought up the CV discussion.

Anyway, I now know you are a troll. From the way you talk I can see I have no business rolling in the mud, which I shouldn't in the first place, with someone like you. But I wrote all these still to put you in your place. You can come online faceless and intimidate me or talk to me anyhow. You are not confident whatsoever. You have insecurities and lack patience to assimilate simple explanation. Work on yourself, dear.

And go on look for all the typos in this one too.😏

      Good bye.

I do not know what that is and really do not care.

No anonymous, you are the one that is a bit slow, if you weren't, you would know that you cannot pass a message when you can't get put your simple tenses together.

What makes you think I work for a Nigerian company? By the way, I have nothing against Nigerian companies, they have fantastic Nigerian companies but leave it for people like you that work four jobs per day trying to make ends meet to try to be condescending. I am sure you don't even have a stay, it is just a matter of time before they deport your name dropping ass back to Nigeria so you quit being a homeless nuisance there.

I am sure you would die to work where I work but the best organization in the world is not looking for an empty roaming vessel to employ so continue to stick to. ..what did you call it again? Clearly in your world, that agency is the highest attainable goal people like you aim for.

You are not from a rich home, you have no pedigree, no class, no substance, no background, yet you cry more than the bereaved. What are you? Some groupie attaching yourself to one rich kid for some spotlight. Boy, if you don't get off here and go for your daily duty of cleaning corpses at your local mortuary.

I couldn't classify you as an average Nigerian because you do not have the wittiness, sense of humor, sassiness or common sense Nigerians are blessed to have. You, my friend, are a bag of rocks and a poor groupie living vicariously through rich folks who visit their dead relatives in the mortuary you work in.

    18. Hmmmmmm... this Anon is brilliant and very constructive, maybe I should add sensible too as a graduate of English Lang dat I am. King Xoxo, u tried too but before you reply someone, calm down, read inbetween the lines, choose your words and don't beat about the bush before you drive ur arguement home. It is obvious dat anon has a mastery of the Lang to an extent and a way with words . Anyways, am praying hard for Nigeria and Nigerians bcos any small thing u pple will be yabbing pple living in the diaspora, like me! Am a silent bv and a celebrity (am sorry I said dat, I don't like to but I am who I am). I was in the dark like u guys wen I was in Naija, I swore nothing would make me live abroad, I don't mind coming here for holidays, but after I lost 2 relatives to poor Nig health system I decided to come here to clear my head hence my staying. Am not saying it's a bed of roses here but what u pple fail to understand or maybe pple have not told u is dat there's no way u can compare the life abroad to Naija, don't let anyone deceive u. I love my country I no go lie but after so much effort before I left with not much 2 show I gave up on that country. Someone who works at McDonald's and earns 1000$ in the US here is beta dan som1 who earns 2million Naira in Naija, why? Bcos the bills of the person livn here is subsidized, u want to rent a hse here? u don't pay for a yr but monthly. Water, electricity and gas bills are reduced to minimal amt according to your income. Food is nothing here...U go chop tire! U don't av to do ritual, yahoo, kiss politicians asses, be a runs girl before u live a reasonable life, just be hard working and focused. The only pple making it in Naija are the 419's, Politifians, and ritualists. ( Even most of the capitalist stole the govt money at one time or the other or their fore fathers who stole left them the loot #sideeyes, am close to most of these pple so I know. I tell pple here how do u av a successful business in an environment where there's no power supply? Forget dat epileptic rubbish, a place where u av to bribe from bottom up... wait how did I write dis epistle now? choi! I must be in a writing mood this morning, anyways moral of my story before some pple will attack me is, am not saying everybody should relocate, but shhhhh, if u can, pls do! for your own good. If u cannot "open your eyes" like dat anon said , the Energy u pple are using to yab pple here concentrate dat Energy on those useless politicians and capitalists who continue to exploit US all while we are alive, and confusing us to make us fight each other in Tribal wars. " God go punish dem and their generation yet unborn IJMN, amen. Use your tongue to count your teeth. I can educate a lot of pple abt d benefits of living abroad which is true human living, I tell u this for free, most pple paint a hard picture for pple at home, Yes! Don't get me wrong it is hard but not as hard as Naija trust me! Wish I cud continue but my hand dey pain me, I don tire.
