ReplyDeleteJust listened to the song. My general opinion on Efe's musical career hasn't changed but I'm not shutting the door.
ReplyDeleteThe rap reminded me of Nigga Raw's style but at the same time, he carved out his own niche. Some may like the chorus but I didn't. If a man wants to do a falsetto, please let it be believable or limited. The entire chorus in falsetto just ticked me off. The jumping in with "Mercy, Mercy..." in the chorus was just bleh. The beats I definitely liked although at first it was kinda like noise.
Don't mind my opinion cos I'm more of an oldies person, so I can't stand most of the new generation Nigerian songs. It's a song that could easily be a club banger(shey na the phrase ni) with the right DJ.
